I bought a few more too.
Why not. Mike makes a few sales and I'll check out the new software...(a busy weekend I think)... |

Thanks John, amazing what a manual will do, lol.. actually saw that yesterday but it didnt set in quite yet..for others who might have same problem, make sure you have the right profile checked. my last worker sent me over the database and she just used the default profile and this new guy created a new profile so i was looking in the default which obviously no info was there.
Thanks. Chris |

I just got the SocialBot and I'm playing with it - it certainly
does some cool stuff. I'm having an issue now where it opens 40 Internet Explorer windows... then closes them with some sort of runtime error, then hangs-up. This has happened a coupe of times now and I don't think I did anything to throw the program off - while I certainly didn't pour-over the manual I did read closely enough to understand what it is supposed to do. This is V. 4.1 I'm using - I'm sure the issue will get resolved either with an update or me reinstalling socialbot... I just have to figure out how to make sure all the data I put into it doesn't get lost. I'm pretty impressed by it actually - because it makes a valiant attempt to automate something that is fraught with hassles. |

You can use it to buy any of the products. I purchased the RSSbot, Socialbot, and PressBot.
When I used Socialbot yesterday, it kept hanging when trying to submit to the fark site (I think that was the one). So, I took it off the list and was able to complete the submission. It took about 15 minutes to submit to all 87 sites. (88 sites - the 1 site I deleted). |

I'm wondering if the sites I social bookmarked will show on all sites. I checked digg for a site I bookmarked and it wasn't there. I wonder if it has anything to do with the category that I typed in.

It submits to sites alphabetically, but lists them in the edit
area in no particular order. That's a downer when hunting down the broken bookmarking sites. I'm not having good luck with getting it to work for more than a few sites before it hangs-up. |

After reading the whole thread, I still see no direct comparison of this tool VS Only Wire...
Did anyone try both tools and can report on the difference? Much appreciated |

SocialBot comes loaded with 89 sites I think. Several
of them don't work. I think I whittled it down to 76 that function. Onlywire does about 35 sites. Socialbot lets you add sites that use a common script as well. Socialbot has some features like you put your site URL in it and it will spider your entire site and give you all the URLs for the entire site... so it saves you time that way. It also nearly-completely automates the sign-up process for all the sites. I'm finding it buggy during the submission process but that might not happen to you because you computer is set-up differently. |

I just want to give a sincere and BIG thanks to BIG Mike for sharing this generous offer with us all. I just picked up 4 of his products and my initial impression is that they rock! If you haven't taken advantage of Mike's generosity you don't know what your missing.

BigMike is definitely one of the "good guys" -- Not only does his software kick ass, but even without discounts they are still wayyyy cheaper than comparable software on the market.
Every course I've ever run, I recommend that people get his stuff -- and I'm not even one of his affiliates

Gotta add my 2 cents!
Had a bit of problem with the file not downloading properly from one of Mike's other software programs on the list. Send a copy of purchase and got a response so fast that it amazed me. Not a robot response ... a real live here is what to do response specifically for that product and what had happened that caused the problem. Now that is service! Amazing Service! Mahalo nui loa (heartfelt thanks) Big Mike! |

Thank you for the apples to apples Loren and thank you for the promo code John.
I used it and downloaded the copy for 7.99$, at that price, might as well give it a try, it's nice that they have updates, which beats the hell out of some other software packages out there which cost 10 times the price and are dated back to stone age. |

I created a new profile and eliminated those two troublemakers -
it still submits with errors but it goes through to the end. |

Social bot is OK, not the best. It does sumbit to many sites but then many sites get left out. Eg today I submitted and it took about 30min for about 74 sites. First time around backflip.com did not go through, so I did a manual submission. I had to wait for it to finish. Second time it went through. You get lots of reports that says completed when in fact it didn't go through and vice versa. Sometimes it not even the softwares fault as the site could be slow and it seems that Socialbot has a time limit to fill in the fields before it moves on. The software is good if you get it at discount rate (at the time $7.77).

I particularly love RSS Bot and the GFX writer. The guys in Greece know what they are doing. |

Hey John,
I've had Sbot stall twice in a row on me now, its been on 2 different sites so is there anything i can do when this happens? I know the last time i deleted the sites off but is there a work around so if its not submitting in a certain time frame, it will just skip it and move on? Also, is there an article bot thread...awesome software that is!! love it, esp, the account creation....hint..will you be adding account creation to social bot? Thanks, Chris |

Chris,
For now I'd say create a profile that excludes the two sites it's stalling on. I'll see what Diego has to say about it. I suspect Diego will be adding automatic account creation if there are enough common fields between the registration forms. John |

Hey Diego, quick question: When there are updates (I've just recently got my hands on ArticleBot (with that oh so nice discount) is it a case of reinstalling the program over top or does it just update the necessary files?

Several posts back, someone had asked if there is something similar to SocialBot for the Mac. Have not seen a reply. Anyone have a suggestion or two? Of will the good SocialBot people create a version for the Mac one of these days? Would be nice to have. Thanks.

Socialbot rules.
It does take a few minutes to set up, and a few mind twists to get, at least it did for me, but the software totally rules. Take the time to learn it, explore it, and make it a part of your online tool belt. |

BIG MIKE
Any news on the version 5 you were on about? You made It sound like groundbreaking stuff, and got me excited now ![]() I have version 4.1 and when I load the software, it says "an upgrade is available" but doesn't prompt me to take any action, or navigate anywhere. Have I missed anything? is version 4.1 the current one? and finally is version 5 still in the making??? JP Quote:
