Default OMG, Are You Using SocialBot v.3?

Okay, I admit I'm a little slow.

I finally started playing with SocialBot v.3 after seeing a comment made by Kurt Melvin in another thread.

In ten days my test site has gone from page 8 in Google to page 1.

Color me impressed.

Kudos to BIG Mike.

John,

Thanks for the heads up...

I'm always interested in investing in "power tools" for my business. So, I have a question.
How is SocialBot different than, let's say, OnlyWire or SocialMarker? I'd love to know more
about SocialBot from someone who's bought it and used it.

Second, I'm always a bit worried about tools like SocialBot. Is there any threat that the
social sites will ignore or block SocialBot? (Is there such a thing as too much automation?)

It basically will cut the time you spend on social bookmarking in half, it is very user friendly and it comes with a great manual for using it. I know of many warriors who use it and none of them have ever said one bad thing about the software

I like outsourcing all my social bookmarking but if you don't mind doing it than I highly recommend BigMike's Socialbot v.3!

I think there is still a Warriors discount for it too...I may be wrong though :P

LOL - if it's Big Mike's, it's about as 'solid' as it can be made. You can't go wrong with any of the tools from his team at IncanSoft - they are made to be user friendly and if you need any help - they actually respond!

It's a 5 star deal all the way around -

G`day,

I agree with Melody, Big Mike`s software is always top quality and if
there was any issues, Big Mike and Diego would stomp on it real quick.
It`s on my "to do list" to get this going ... need hours spare to do all
the initial signing up to other sites etc and learning more

Thanks for posting John ... might just push a few things aside and get
SocialBot V3 running for myself ... more success to you to mate.

I've been using it since it was first launched and it rocks!

Once it's set up, it's so easy to use too.. a real time saver.

190.

No issues with Google so far, obviously. And all of the social bookmarking sites are still accepting my submissions.

I submit about 15 pages twice a day, manually, when I remember.

(by manually, I mean I hand pick which pages to submit based on keywords, click the box next to those, then hit send)

It's a cookie cutter site, about 1000 pages, all duplicate content.

That I'm not qualified to answer, as I've not used them. (I said I was slow, remember...)

Hopefully someone who has used them will answer your question (I'm curious too).

I'm damn pleased with my results thus far and thought Mike deserved a plug.

Are you doing keyword research and using that information in your page details?

I am unable to open the instruction page ..
My adobe reader isn't working ..
Would someone be able to send me the instructions on how to use this in a different format?
I spent the past couple days creating the accounts at the social bookmarking sites .. but now I don't know how to do the actual submissions ..

Just download the newest version of adobe reader - it's free and you really should have it anyway as pretty much all of your various scripts come with a pdf for instructions

Wow - this thread was a nice surprise and thank you for the comments

Danny - be patient. Depending on your site, the keywords, yada, yada, yada, it may take a while. Meanwhile, just keep doing it consistently. It's not a "Shortcut" type of system with instant results no matter how much John likes to brag

Sorry to keep pestering you, but is a cookie cutter site a site with articles from article directories or something else?

I've been using this about three weeks now and once it's set up, it sure is easy!

Not seen a great deal of movement in my site position, but that could be me and my keywords and the niches that I'm in, but in light of the "be patient" quote from BIG MIKE, I'm positive things will pick up for my main site very soon!

No need to be modest Mike, the software is amazing. It will also help your new sites get indexed within like 24 hours. It is truly great.

But guys, keep in mind that a sudden massive backlinking will help you in the short term to rank high, but if you want to keep such position you're going to have to do some natural manual backlinking in the long run.

John,

Are you submitting those 15 pages to all of the bookmarking sites in SocialBot twice a day? Or are you just submitting them to a 10 or so sites as the manual suggest? I'm just getting started with SocialBot but it seems great.

A quick Google search show only 3 pages and little info. Best review I could find is someone who "Wanted" it to work.

Sounds good, but as I see it the jury is still out.

Well, here's an unbiased jury member who has used it and will continue to do so.

A friend was kind enough to create the accounts for me and I've already got results for all the submissions.

It's an excellent time saver.

Well done Big Mike and co!

First -- John -- congrats on your retirement!

Second -- if'n BigMike takes down his discount code -- there are a number of his resellers wandering around -- I think John is still one.

I am one, as well.

Just missed out on selling it to Jeremy. Dang!

I have been using it and it's a good product. Easy to setup and use. One minor complaint is a lot of the sites included for auto sibmission are scuttle sites, practically no traffic on these sites. But on the upside a lot of the top bookmarking sites are on there. So you can create plenty of profiles, each one connected to the top 10/15 sites and that way each article or page gets posted 15 times to each site.

I find that you don't get a lot of actual traffic from the sites but if you choose sites that don't have "nofollow" then it can build some nice links for ranking. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

Hey Mike,

I installed the most recent version of adobe reader but I'm still unable to view the PDF.
About 5 seconds after I open it, I get the following message ..

"Adobe acrobat 8 professional cannot be launched at this time. You must launch at least one other suite component (such as adobe photoshop) before launching acrobat 8 professional."

I open "another suite component" and it still doesn't work ..

Is there any way I'd be able to get instructions in a different format ..
Or even just an explaination as to how I can bookmark my ezine articles..

Thanks..

I like outsourcing all my social bookmarking but if you don't mind doing it than I highly recommend BigMike's Socialbot v.3!

I think there is still a Warriors discount for it too...I may be wrong though :P

Hi Bill: I have had the same thing happen, in the past, on a couple of programs I have tried to update. Sometimes, and for some reason, new versions have trouble updating over old versions. Could be just a bleep. Try this:

Do a search for "Adobe Reader" and delete every bit of what you find from your computer. Then go back to the Adobe site and download the lastest version. It should work then. If not, then there must be a problem with your computer.

It sounds like you have tried to download it too many times.

Yep. That's what I was going to say. These kinds of tools are awesome for getting indexed right away and getting some excellent backlinks. And if it's Big Mike's product, I'd trust it 100%. He's as solid as they come.

However, Daniel is right; all the sites surrounding yours on Google are working feverishly on their links and you have to build links on a regular basis if you want to continue to compete. You don't have to build thousands of links; just top quality ones. Regularly.

If you click Tools, you will see an Export Database feature. That is your backup.

I suspect the database restore process is as simple as placing that exported database file in the folder of the newly installed copy of SocialBot.

However, I don't know that for a fact. I emailed both Mike and Diego with a link to your question.

I have socialbot. I'm not very happy with the support though. Tried to contact support several times at the email address provided but never got any response back. I have some issues with socialbot like it's lack of reporting features.

Does anyone know of a similar software that's Mac friendly? Without having to run parallels or stuff like that.

SocialBot 3 uses many unknown bookmarking sites which use a free script. 20 or 30 of the sites are even owned by the same person. There are only a few popular bookmarking sites in the software.

Also help button does not work and there is no way to tell if a submission really failed. For example if captcha pops up and I just press ok without entering anything, it still says it was submitted. Only way for you to tell if the submission actually went through is to go login and check.

I have had the same issues, yes it does not report anything.. What I am shocked most about though is the lack of real traffic boosting bookmarking sites.. Sure StumbleUpon is good but its not the only top bookmarking site.
