A Wordpress membership site script - my wishlist included
I have looked at some of the options for running membership sites that are out there but it can be quite confusing, I have not run a membership site before (stupid *^&*@^ War Room giving me crazy ideas!) My needs are quite simple:
- aWeber integration, in the sense of signup via aWeber=automatic signup to the site. I am not looking to charge for membership (just collecting opt-ins), but I guess it should be there as an option for the future
Oh and it's got to be aWeber TOS COMPLIANT integration, NOT prefilling their webforms or any of that stuff that'll get me kicked off! Fully legit.
- of course, member-only content - that would include the usual, posts, pages etc. but also whatever integrated forum option I go for (though a ready solution for that would be great too)!
- ability to post teasers on the homepage to non-members: forum thread titles or excerpts, article titles etc.
- some kind of classic PayPal integration for selling my digital products via landing pages etc. This could be a separate plugin of course... Also perhaps some sort of simple affiliate system along the lines of the $7 script.
Think that's it for now! Some of the packages I have looked at have SO many features, many of which I will never need, so I need help narrowing it down. Thanks!
P.S. I have SOME budget for this, but I am always open to considering decent freebies too
