I guess Alex does not need us as he already has a wide crowd of followers buying his products. He certainly spends money creating them but he must have a huge profit return selling at such high prices. Yet I still see him advertising other IM'ers products like the one Chris Freville has just launched so it gets him money as an affiliate for his friends new products.

So whatever happened to the old way of doing stuff.
1. Find a highly competitive keyword phrase. I mean really hard nosed, mega competitive. 2. Scroll all the way through the first 100 pages of results 3. Find all the blog style sites that appear on the listing for this mega competitive keyword 4. Find a low comp keyword phrase for your chosen niche 5. Post good quality, unique content to the sites you found in step 3 above If the sites show up anywhere for the high comp keyword phrase, then for low comp they can rank quite highly. Practice makes perfect and I can now get all my sites done in a day, including writing all the content for the sites. On average, each and every month I add around 15 sets of sites targeting 15 keyword phrases for my chosen niches. Do I really need to automate that much more? Not for $997 plus $97 a month I don't. |

Well, he still sold out. I think $997 is a drop if you are going to invest $100K following the plan. Otherwise, way too pricey, but will surely get some short term results...regards Allen

Coaching doesn't start 30 days after purchase, it starts immediately with video tape training, introduction to the various parts of the system modules, etc. There is a 60 day challenge which is what you are refering to that starts first week in Jan 2009. The reason for the delay between purchase and the start of the 60 day challenge are twofold: 1) in order to make the program affordable, Alex allows a 2 payment plan (ie) 2 payments spread over a period of 30 days. He doesn't want to start the challenge - showing you step-by-step how to achieve success until he knows who is in the program and who is dropping out because they can't afford the up-front cost or because of buyers remorse. 2) Because the 1000 or so participants in google conquest have such diverse internet marketing experience, using the first 30 days or so to get everyone up to speed and on the same page sort of levels the playing field ensurinig that each participant has an equal shot at success during the 60 day challenge. I am one of those participants. I have been studying internet marketing and suffering informatin overload for 2 years now. I can tell you that in the last 30 days I learned more from Alex than from all of the experiences of the last 2 years. So far, I am quite pleased and, oh, the biggest benefit, the colony itself...you can post any question no matter how trivial or monumental and someone (generally several) from the blog colony will get back to you with real answers from their own experiences...a wealth of resources to draw upon - George -

I cancelled my Google Conquest membership about 6 weeks ago, and I have been asking for my refund from Google Conquest for 6 weeks already, haven't got it yet after emailing to their support, admin and billing department many times. At first, their support said already sent my request to their billing, then said already sent my request to Alex, I've never got any response from Alex and their billing department. I sent my refund request to their billing directly, no response; to all the email addresses to Alex I could find, no response. Now there's no response any more from their support email address.What should I do? Thanks, Jingyi |

I am also a member of Google conquest and I'm seriously considering a refund. They even charged me another $500 even though I've already paid the full amount. I can't believe they screwup something like this
Another problem for me is, this program was promised to be Alex Goads system, but today he is never seen around. The training videos and the phone calls are hosted by someone called Brian Johnson. He is okay but I was hoping for more Alex Goad, it feels like he just did a few training videos in the beginning and now he's on to the next project. |

Here´s another unhappy customer of Google Conquest, who has been trying to get a refund since January 28th. My emails and support tickets get either no reply whatsoever, or they will be forwarded to someone else, who doesn´t take any action. Needless to say I´m very frustrated and worried.

When I first starting reading this thread, I was thinking I would be the only one who didn't particularly like his stuff. But, I see I have company.
I just have never been impressed with what is actually delivered vs what is sold in his sales letters. My guess is that he is very good at writing sales letters, but not so much on product developement/delivery. I also recently unsubscribed from his list. Just my 2 cents. |

I am yet another unhappy customer of Alex Goad's Google Conquest.
Can someone please PM me the correct email address to request my refund for Google Conquest? I have sent in my request 3 times now to a "Jad Bitar" who handled my purchase. I got one response saying that the refund has been processed, but two weeks later, no refund! They did however, conveniently close my Conquest account the same day I sent in my first request. I sent in two more messages to Jad and one to alex AT googleconquest DOT com, but no response. I am getting very anxious about this. |

I am an active member of GC having problems login to GC due to some "site migration to another server" that happened one or two days ago. None of my members name, email address or password allows me to login, all are invalid. I have sent emails to Alex and support but you know how things are... Here is a post that Alex Goad put on the GC forum a couple of days ago re: refunds. As you can see, he is guaranteeing that you will get it!
"Hi Conquesters, Things you should know about refunds: 1) they take time, sometimes 14 days or more depending on your country and the bank that issues your credit card. I am here personally making sure they are done, so please be patient and know that sending more emails just slows us down more. 2) If you asked for a refund over 14 days ago and did not receive it yet, then email me personally at whatdowehavehere@gmail.com You MUST use this subject line : Alex, Please ADVISE and include these details to make it easy for us to make verifications: 1) the email you used to register to the system 2) whether you used a credit card or paypal 3) when you made your request 4) an invoice number 5) your name as it appears on your card or paypal (it causes problems when you email us with another name than those since we can't find you in the system) Also know: I'm sorry about the bugs and delays, some of them are normal, some of them are our fault. hi all....i recently delved into SEO (Google Conquest) and Adwords
previously, i've made the majority of my online money from ebay...my biggest profit in a 24 hour period from ebay is about $1,250 from $1,599 in sales the problem was i couldn't do that on a consistent basis...finding wholesale products at the right price to make a decent profit at one point..spring and the beginning of summer of 2007... i was making $100-$200 per day on ebay, just selling seagate and maxtor hard drives from one supplier (frys.com) sometimes i had them drop-ship and other times i shipped to my customers for different reasons, the hard drives stopped being profitable (frys raised the prices, being one) so, then i sold refurbished saeco italia espresso/cappucino machines on ebay and hit another jackpot...these things sold like hotcakes..i made about $40 net profit each sale unfortunately, these machines had major problems..they didn't last long, plus i was shipping half of them to canada..customers had to pay a duty...it was mess when they wanted a refund! so, then comes Google Conquest....i bought it, said i'd give it the 90 days and if i wasn't making at least the $97 monthly, then i would request a refund well, the system is great..especially, using paypal to find markets? for me that was really an eye-opener! (GC'ers know what i'm talking about) alex taught for the 1st month..as a result i got lawyerspinalinjury com.....organinbaldnesstreatment org buyprojectfatloss com historylinuxos com then, brian started teaching at the 60-day challenge and flipped the script on what alex was teaching..so our previous sites based on alex's teaching were not optimized properly..it was like starting over (1st 30 days..gone) after brian, i did sinusremedy net dualcoloncleanse net womenhairrestoration com getridyeastinfection com foodslowerbloodpressure com (you can see the progression from the 1st 30 days) i was getting consistent adsense money (less than $1 per day) from my sites i social bookmarked and then WHAM!...Google Pimp Slap! 3 of my sites were thrown into page oblivion....no more adsense and get this, those sites ranked 1-4 within the first day that i put them up! so after about 88 days, i requested a refund..and it took 2 weeks to get that in fairness, i really like the wordpress seo methods..they do work..and they continue to work for me, as far as ranking is concerned however, the amount of money you can make within a short period of time is limited, unless you do sniping, which is another animal i just didn't think the price and promise of google conquest justified me keeping it now, i'm combining the gc skills i learned with gcd and hoping to strike gold eric |

So apparently Alex Goad is relaunching Google Conquest as something like Google Conquest Authority on May 5.
Even though I went for a refund I still got an email asking for a testimonial:- Hi Mike, As you probably know, we will be re-launching Conquest on May 5th, with a new challenge, some new templates and extra good stuff for you too... One thing that lends a lot of credibility is opinions from people in the system, so it would mean a lot to me if you took a few minutes to answer the following request: Please copy paste the questions or fields below in a word document and complete it with your own answers. When done, please send it back to me at this email address whatdowehavehere@gmail.com If you are among those that can brag about making 15k in a week like some members I already have testimonials from, then by all means write in... BUT If you didn’t get that kind of concrete bankable result(yet!), I’m sure that you’ve enjoyed other types of benefits which are just as important to future customers, so please share that with me! It really helps me shape future training to understand what you enjoy and benefit from... Note that by sending in your feedback to the address above, you are giving me permission to use part or all of it in my marketing. In fact most were lamenting that they were unable to monetise their sites successfully. Some had 40-45 sites but were only making a few dollars in total a day. Now Alex says he has testimonials of people that can brag at making 15k a week! It must be from the "sniper" system which was something different from the main thrust of GC. (The sniper system is a short-term strategy targeting launches of products.) Hopefully he is not using Mark Dulisse as a testimonial since Mark was supposedly an "in-house expert" and "guru" way before GC was launched. Of course every testimonial used gets a "nifty flip cam" which must not be confused with a bribe. In my oponion, ALL testimonials in sales letters must be taken with a grain of salt! |

I think that what you may not realize is that often what you see on a thread like this is when people come out to flame. So, although undoubtably some if not all of the posts may be true, they are not representative of the full customerbase. Although I was not a customer of GC, I was a JV partner and also helped out at the beginning many of the customers. The atmosphere and enthusiasm within the members forum was unlike anything I have ever seen before and I remember comparing it to a popcorn machine with the popcorn coming out as it 'clicked' for each member when they started making money. As a JV partner, the number of refunds on my account was actually extremely low and WAY lower than usual for a high-priced item which is delivered digitally. In fact, the number of people who are still paying (on my account) the recurring charge is about 70% which is actually quite remarkable. What this means is, that these 70% of people not only didn't refund, but also are actively paying each and every month in order to stay a member and make money using the automated tools within the membership. There were teething problems. There were billing problems. There were even some mistakes and miscommunication. But at the end of the day, Google Conquest (GC) is relaunching because overall it has been an incredible success for its members and has made them a lot of money. We can all focus on the things that did or didn't go wrong, but surely the fact that there are so many success stories is the most important thing. Best Wishes, Ben Shaffer |

Oh Simon,
My instincts tell me that you know a lot more than you are letting on. However, if you really think that GC is Firepow with a free forum then I strongly suggest that you go to googleconquest.com , follow the prelaunch and then read the salesletter and then you will find out more. But in short, although one of the elements is similar to Firepow, there is much much more. |

Obviously you have some agenda although not sure what it is. We both know that you are very familiar with what GC is and there are threads in the Warrior Forum to prove it. So when you say: "Isn't this basically Firepow with a free forum ? " You already know that it is not. When you act with surprise: "Ohh, this is a relaunch of an existing product" You already know that it is a relaunch. If you are a genuine perspective customer then I would expect that you would read a salesletter before purchasing. If you are too busy to find out from the prelaunch what this is about, then once again it is probably not for you as you would not take action on the info. The idea behind conquest was sound. teach you to blog, show you some tricks, and then upload quickly thru his private label version of firepow.
unfortunetly, the so called guru behind it went awol and was gone for 2 or 3 months. members got pissed and left in droves. when alex returned he mentions nothing nor does he offer any apology. instead he touts how google conquest is coming! its turned into a joke. save your money and go with firepow. andrew hanson rocks and has setup a service where a newbie like myself can churn out blogs with no prior experience |

Its funny how everything is named with Google in it. Im not knocking it if it works it works. Im just waiting on someone to come out with a Commission Junction Cash or Commission Junction Conquest or how bout Commission Junction Nemises Grrrrrrrrrrr but leave the Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr in there lol...
