This almost isn't worth reviewing because it was a little $7 product.

However, I have a question as part of this, so maybe somebody can give me some insight.

Let me say that Marlon Sanders is my favorite guy in the IM game.

Facebook Advantage is not his product, but he endorsed it which is how I found it. It's supposed to teach you how to properly place ads on Facebook. I can't even figure out who the author is by the way. The video starts and somebody just starts talking.

The problem is that there isn't much here. I know it's only $7, but it's pretty much a series of short videos that take you through the sign up process on FB.

It does cover some basic information on conducting research which is good if you're new.

If you don't know anything about FB, then go ahead and spend the $7.

My biggest complaint is that the author recommends creating a profile page for your business but this is against FB's TOS.

This brings me to my question.

Having just a fan page for a business is very limiting. It seems like I see all kinds of businesses and organizations with full-blown FB accounts.

Is everybody breaking FB's TOS or am I missing something?

One of the problems with just having a fan page seems to be that I can't connect it to anything. For example, when I try to connect a fan page to Aweber, it doesn't work, but it does for a profile page.

Anyway, I hope this review helps somebody and if you can give me some advice on pages vs. profiles, I'd appreciate it. I actually bought this product hoping to get this answer and instead, it just added to my confusion.
