Just wondering the same thing. $2,000 is a lot to spend for a product, and if it takes 2 months to find out it is not working, a lot of wasted time as well.

The link to the webinar replay is The Franchise Model Secret By Mike Filsaime just in case someone wants to look at the vid and give their opinion. And no, it is not an affiliate link, it is right out of Filsames email.
    Thanks,

      Thanks,
      Yeah, I´m interested, too.
I attended the webinar yesterday and the whole thing makes a lot of sense to me. Nevertheless, I also have some doubts about this beeing the same sites / templates for thousands of IM trying to monetize the same products.
Would love to hear your thoughts,
      thanks,
      Michael

I didn't watch the whole video but from what I can tell you're paying $2,000 to be an affiliate.

You get a cookie cutter website(s), Mike's products to give away, a percentage of his newsletter sales, and your leads (I'm still not sure if the leads are his or yours) get sent to a call center.

        Will it work???

I'm guessing it will... for Mike Filsaime.

        For you and your customers...Meh

It is a great example of using leverage but I won't be signing up anytime soon... or later for that matter.

          Thanks, Kevin.
What do you mean by a "cookie cutting website" ?
Regarding this model, if the leads and optins are all managed by Mike, we indeed would just work as his affiliates with the only mission of bringing him traffic, right ?

I watched the whole video. The site is hosted by Mike, but you buy your own domain name. The leads go to your own Aweber AR. You bring him new subscribers to his printed newsletter (pay him $7 you keep $23), you keep 100% of any upsells, and if anyone buys from the call center, you keep 100% of that money, too.

You buy a min of 25 CD's for your starting inventory (he said they were about $5, but later said starting inventory would be "a couple hundred bucks"). You pay for traffic or drive it yourself in other ways. There is extensive training in how to drive traffic, included.

He makes a compelling case for how quickly you can make your money back based on his extensive stats on his results. Were his sales to his lists, or cold leads? He doesn't say.

It's an impressive package IMO. I suppose it's possible to earn the investment back relatively quickly, if you already have a list or a high traffic blog or other means to drive targeted traffic, quickly.

              Tracey,

Your descriptions is ALMOST perfect. Just would like ot clear up a few things...

Upsells - There are 4 options. A MRR package that you keep 100%, an upsell to a Mike Filsaime package where you split those sales with Mike 50-50 (it's a $497 upsell), Integration with the Upsell Network (% based on whatever upsell product you select), and finally, you can add your own upsell - which of course means you keep all.

Call Center - you don't keep 100% of a sale. You get a set commission that you keep all of.

As for the front end products, right now there are 45 to choose from. You can also opt to offer your own product on the front end.

The idea behind this system is to have a quick and simple way to put up a site or sites with a front end free plus shipping offer, a recurring product and a back end. Is this worth it? That depends on your goals and what you are looking to do...

It is worth it if you have been trying to develop your own product and back end, or some recurring offer but are not good with that sort of thing. This does most everything for you.

And if you are already making money and know how to drive traffic, etc. this could be a good additional revenue stream. If you think about it, just 100 people on the recurring makes you 2300 pr month.

As for the "thousands" of websites with identical content...

First, there are not thousands in the system (yet).

Second there are 45 products. Not everyone buys the unlimited license deal.

Third, even though everything is set up for you, you have the ability and are encouraged to change or add your own content. We even provide the PSD files for the sites so you can change that too.

By the way, all 45 minisite packages were done by fellow Warrior Karl Warren. He's a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him for your projects!

That's it. Hope that helps a bit.

Change the AT to @ and the DOT to a .

It's an old habit I got in to when posting my email address publicly - keeps spam bots from scraping it

                  Mike

P.S. I did a test and saw the error you are seeing. I sent a video to the programming team. This error is a first and I don't know what is causing it (yet).

Hi fellow wariors. we have purchased the 5 site pack and thought we would give it a good go before we replied to any threads on the forum just so we could give an honest non bias opinion. So here it is We have had nothing but trouble so far!!! We built one site to start with very basically re-designed the graphics so the name of the product fit the domain. We only changed one word from online copywriting pro to online copywriting revealed and there was problems from the beginning. First the support team said it was the integration with the paypal account and the email we used was not complying for some reason they did not know why and the acc was not even on their database . So they opened up another account for us and asked me to create a gmail acc and integrate that with my paypal acc so i did that and began to build another site from scratch with the new acc. Just as I had finished and was about to email our list I recieved another email saying that the old acc was now fixed and and ready to go and I should not encounter any more problems. Theacc I had just finished was deleted and the original acc was set live again. I went through all the settings and everything seemed to be in place so we began to drive traffic publish articles post on blogs rah rah rah. We got up this morning and thought it was strange to not even have a bite we checked the analytics and had over 150 vists the first day with not one conversion. The average time spent on the site was 1m 24s so that tells me people were watching the video. Not one conversion I thought was odd so We opted in asa paying customer. We recieved the payment in our paypal and that was it we fist got a fatal error msg then got a welcome msg from another list setting in our awebber acc how that happened I have no idea. then the confirmation emails went directly to spam(not unusual) however they were marked with big red warnings. then when we clicked to confirm we were sent to a blank page with only one sentence of text saying to please click on the link that wasd e mailed to us. We opened up a new window and logged in and it said to please confirm the acc. After 4 confirmation resends giving me the same result I got a bit frustrated and and sent another email to the support desk that I am still waioting to hear from. So there you have so far not a very pleasant experience not to mention the time wasted and the prospects now gone for good. I do hope they fix these problems and it runs a lot smoother from here on. I seriously think I will be getting refunded anyway. If anyone else has had problems like this I would love to hear about it and if and/or how they got over them.

I have not bought-in. Not because I don't think it's worth it, but because it's right before Christmas. Even if you make sales you have to wait to be paid, and I need all the extra money we have right now:-)

I would like to hear from someone who did buy and how it's going, too, if there is anyone here who did?

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the states.

I don't like his products. I must admit he can sell like the best, but it's all on emotion. Imho this product is highly overpriced. He gives you resell rights of some products he own. So you still need to get traffic to your squeeze page. Traffic that will make him money. You are just an affiliate driving traffic for his websites.
If you're thinking about it you are paying to be an affilliate.

I don't know Mike Filsame, but I do appreciate accuracy, so I have to say that if you buy this package, you're not really paying to be an affiliate. There's more to it, and it takes the investment of 2 hours or so of your time to get the full picture. It has more resemblance to a franchise, than a mere affiliate program, without the royalties

The product is a $47 dollar package that is mailed to the visitor for free. Then if they sub to Mike's newsletter, you get $23 and Mike gets $7. So there is that aspect of being an affiliate. But then if your prospect responds to a coaching or other upsells on the backend, you keep 100% of that profit.

So it's more like a souped-up hybrid of your standard affiliate program, that puts you in business instantly with your own site on your own domain, and takes care of the hard/expensive/time consuming parts for you. I know enough about IM to know that if properly promoted, you WILL make money with this package. And so will Mike, as he should for putting it all together. It is too pricey for me, too, so I agree with you there, but there's a bit more to it, and I would look closely if you have more $ than time right now:-)

    Have a great night!
    Tracy

          Hi Michael,

Sending the leads to the call center is NOT automatic. You have to turn the feature on in your admin area, plus fill out and fax an agreement and a W-9.

What that means is, the leads are yours. You elect whether or not you send them to the call center..

I am not sure about actual commissions because there are multiple offers the call center presents - and in reality I have little to do with that aspect

All 45 sites revolve around the I.M. niche. The products hit on many topics in this niche, such as...

          - Email Marketing
          - Affiliate Marketing
          - Video Marketing
          - Ebay
          - eCoaching
          - Twitter
          - Business Automation

          and more.

          Hope this helps.

Even though this is not to evaluate whether the Franchise platform can be profitable or not for you, in case you did not realize, the truth is you did not participate of any real webinar:
The webinar was not really live, it was not "real time" at all. It was a video he pre-recorded and by means of a new script made it appear as a real time webinar.
If anyone wants to know what script does the trick,I'll tell you. Very ingenious, only that by the time many marketers start using it, it will not be a trick anymore.

Hey Mike Ambrosio ...perhaps you can help me, seeing I'm getting no response from the support desk.

I requested a refund for the Profit Platform due to concerns with the quality of the free CD's. I got an initial response from Steve, 'Support Associate' saying: "We would love to discuss this with you in person, so if you would please provide your phone number and the best time to call, we will be happy to talk to one on one and come to a resolution with you." The further wording of the email does not inspire confidence in their 'refund guarantee: "To see if you qualify for a refund, Please submit your original receipt as an attachment to your reply back to us. (or copy and paste it into this ticket) If you have already submitted this , thank you." (I had sent my original receipt with my refund request).

I replied (ten days ago now) with a number I can be contacted on and the best time, but I have not been rung. I have since emailed support twice more, requesting to be informed the status of my refund, but there has been no response. For such a high priced product, I don't believe this level of support is acceptable.

So, I have to say that so far it is my experience that Mike Filsaime is quick to 'talk the talk', but not so quick to 'walk the walk' when to comes to their 'no questions asked' refund guarantee.

If you can help resolve this, I'd certainly appreciate it Mike Ambrosio. I'm not able to PM you as I haven't mede enough forum posts yet.

    Thanks

Hi. I bought this. I was super excited about it. On getting into the websites, I found that the video for each product was exactly the same, just with a different voiceover, a different image of the product. The same pieces of the jigsaw puzzle going together on the video, so yes, whilst it was professionally produced, that was my first moment thinking.. hmm.. hold on a sec...

I bought this at the £389/month price platform. About a week after I had bought it I got a call - on my cellphone in London, from the US - from someone trying to 'help me' by selling me on some $8000 product. This was the 2nd time I thought, hmmm... not liking this. Obviously I didnt buy it but they were quite persistent.

Honestly I have heard nothing but good things about Mike Filsaime and of course he seems to be a great marketer, but I just felt like a statistic, a number on his list to be milked for as much as he could get out of me by his 'team' with no regard for my situation, personality, feelings, etc.

Went from bad to worse. I then got an email saying my credit card had been declined. But call this number and they could 'help'. I called it since 1. I have free calls to the US and 2. I wanted to give them a piece of my mind and say How dare you lie to me and say my card was declined, you already have the payment LOL...

Ive never seen tactics as sneaky as that. The person I spoke to was dismissive, buck passing and really pretty rubbish.

Anyway in terms of the product, I found the disc making drop shipping people to be expensive, absolutely inflexible, unprofessional - they got my name wrong within 5 mins from a direct email, took nearly a week to not even process my order, communication was crap from start to not even finish as they didnt make it that far... the actual interface was OK to make the website with, but like some other people here I found I just kept thinking how many other people would be doing the same thing?!

Finally one last note I wanted to add, its now nearly 4 months since I bought this and got a full refund (even a refund was hard to get, they tried offering me a discount, etc etc, Im like no FFS, just give me my money back ASAP please!!) - and I just got a call tonight from someone 'from mike filsaime's team.'

After I told them my experience, they said they werent actually part of his team but work with lots of high end IM 'gurus'. LOL.

Anyway had a reasonable chat, I told them there was no way I was buying any high end product, they kept going for a bit, my last words were' sorry, Im starting to get a bit bored of this conversation now... ' (after about 15mins on the phone) - to which they hung up.

So, one last jot of respect for his customers from Mike Filsaime. Thanks a lot! Hope my experiences shared helps people. Its really sad when people get so far removed from their customers that this happens. BUt at the same time, I think its up to you to make sure it DOESNT happen. Mike has not bothered to do this. I'd bet a fair amount of money Im not the only one this has happened to either. ANyone?? :-)

Have a great day y'all and make loads of money :-)

This is very common for the higher earning IM guys. They sell you as much product or service as they can, then give your contact information/email address/phone # to someone else who tries to sell you their own product or services, in exchange for a cut of the profits if they make the sale.

It's basically just milking people for as much as possible. I once bought a product by a big name guru and part of the product was a "30 minute free coaching call" during which the "coach" basically just asked me a few questions then tried to sell me an actual coaching package of his for like $497. Of course, I wasn't interested.

Hi Guys, I bought Mike's system about 2 weeks ago... no make that 3. I have been jumping through the loops to get the system in place, takes a bit of time, but I am about to start promoting. But guess what.... I hadn't checked the quality of the free give-aways that are supposed to help use build our mailing lists and lead people into purchasing the high end products on the back end. Well guess what, the give-aways are rubbish. I just checked a few this morning in preparation (I know I should have done this right away after purchasing - unfortunately there is no to do this prior to purchase, I assumed they would be of the highest quality coming from Mike) and discovered the stuff is written by some one who is obviously not a native English speaker and the videos seem to be voiced by a computer reader program. Very painful to listen to. So needless to say I am pulling the plug on this today and counting my losses as lessons learned. The system that Mike has put in place is great, the websites, the back end, and I have learned heaps just from setting it all up but I am to embarrassed with the very low quality of the give away I can't proceed with it any further. Well... got to go and get my refund. Cheers

The Franchise Model Secret By Mike Filsaime

AKA – The PlugnPlay or Plug in Profit Platform.

I bought the 5 site package after getting really hooked emotionally during the webinar when Mike talked about how he was there to help all those struggling to make it but hadn't yet. I should have left the webinar then and there and done some research before pulling out my credit card. But it's hard to do when you think the webinar is live – turns out it wasn't. Mike and co are running these so called webinars almost everyday. I have come across more invites to these 'exclusive' webinars at different places around the net since. Not only is Mike using this kind of system but so are other marketers at this time. So be careful... almost none of them are live anymore.

As a side note: I have been on training webinars where they are teaching how to run webinars to make them look live and tactics to handle the question and answer session to re-enforce the illusion. It's all about smoke and mirrors these days so be wary of committing to a purchase when you are feeling under pressure and that this “live” webinar is your only chance to get the deal – it's not. Learn to walk away when you are emotionally engaged. Do the math, talk to others, check out the Warrior Forum, do some research.

During the webinar he goes in-depth on how he is successful and we can trust him. How he is different from all the rest. Talks a lot about the franchise model and how he is introducing it to internet marketing so we get a ready to go business-in-a-box when we pull out our credit card. I thought great, just what I have been looking for. The products looked OK, though restricted to the IM market, but what we weren't shown was the content of the free giveaways which are supposed to help build our list and give us people to upsell to on the backend. So as I said, looked great, but you can only see/read/view the content once you have purchased. Big mistake on my part. Why didn't I see that during the presentation we were never shown the actual content of these free packages? On the internet now a days the quality of free content is going through the roof so anything that is being given for free has got to be tops. This stuff isn't.

Problems with the free content include very poor level of English. Obviously written by some one whose first language is not English. Some didn't even make sense until you re-read it and try and work out what they are trying to say. I was very disappointed in the quality from that perspective but also that content of the reports/DVD/videos is very low, fluff almost, compared to what anyone could find searching on the net themselves. And out of date. Quotes from 2008 resources and statics. Not exactly current stuff. In addition the voice over for the free video trainings sounds like a computer reader program – very disturbing and difficult to listen to. That combined with the fact the text is poor quality English to start with – it's a nightmare!

I have asked for my money back of course, in case you are wondering, and would recommend others do the same and for those considering.... to walk away. I have asked for a refund but I am not getting anything like the level of support and action you would expect after having forked out such a large amount of money. The support team had been always quick to respond when I had questions about the system, getting things setup etc, but when I came to asking for my money back.... very slow to get back to me and or give me a status update. Hopefully I will be able to post something positive here soon about the refund request.

The Franchise Model Secret By Mike Filsaime is not a franchise or a business-in-a-box in reality but more a way for you to pay a high fee to become an affiliate for Mike and his empire.

Since I bought his AffiliateDotCom last year, I had to contact his helpdesk as I had a little problem with my recurring billing. I was transferred straight to the affiliate Manager for the problem to be dealt with. Towards the end of the call I was offered the Franchise Model "Profit Platform" in last October (I believe). I hadn't heard of it, before he mentioned that to me then. He then tried giving me a link and date to a future "so called webinar" but I refused to accept stating the time variation. He then instantly provided me with a replay link. Wow!...at this moment I was just thinking - how can I have a replay of a future webinar? He was telling me something like - this is Mike's new product after the AffiliateDotCom and won't last long so I should take action immediately.

Well, I watched the whole webinar. The affiliate manager rang me back the next day, as he had my number and asked me how I felt about the product. I said the product looks good but I didn't have enough money to buy. He then came down to bargaining - and said how much were I willing to pay for? How much money did I have then? or words to that effect. After a few minutes of conversation he offered me the course for $1500 (unlimited version).

When I still refused to take the product, he clearly shown me an attitude and hung up on me. That was utterly unexpected and totally unacceptable behaviour from someone who is trained for the Affiliate Manager and has been working for someone who is an IM Guru?

I watched the webinar for three times as Mike is so convincing but still didn't buy because of the attitude of that Affiliate Manager. But now after seeing reviews from warriors who tried and tested the system, I am glad that I didn't by it then and I would rather like to thank that affiliate manager for being rude to me and saving me $$$$.

    Kind Regards,

    Rabindra

By chance, I got an invitation to "The-profit-platform", and I must say the webinar is VERY well conducted, built up, etc, in order to get you in the bying mode..... which I was in after the webinar......as well as the concept looks very professorial, and he even talks about how he had pros to do all the initial videos for the different landing pages you can choose to setup

But when I took a deeper look into it, it seems that "The-Profit-Platform" aka "Quadratic-formula" aka "Franchise model secret" are the same...

And I wouldn´t mind that, except when i read the threads it seems that the initial free gifts in this turnkey system is outdated, and of very poor quality/language...... And whats even bothers me more, is that the thread ends very sudden, after months of comments, but without MikeAmbrosio (Mike Filsaimes rep?)
    presence.

So does anybody know if this has been fixed??
And NO ONE have given any feedback that they actually make money with it or not, or if it brings traffic in, how it converts etc.......

Mike is claiming that for every lead/visitor, you will earn 75 $, from the sales funnel setup, even though you initially give a CD-rom away for free (except S&H)

Is there anybody who have purchased it, who is willing to submit some testimonial now ?

Glad I checked this thread out!

As for the software, it must be the same he now sells as the Evergreen Business System.

    check the link http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...-thoughts.html

There the claim they will be around forever, and let nobody down, and will be the leading edge in the webinar-game..........even though there´s no recurring fee
    Is that worth believing?

I bought this. I lasted about 2 weeks until I got a refund. Here are the reasons:

      1. They emailed me after I had paid my first installment with the title - credit card declined. The ultimate low of the low tactics. Contact us urgently Clare - we can HELP you :-) Sure - try to sell me some other super expensive stuff, give me attitude when I don't want it. AND the whole premise of the call is based on lies. My card wasn't declined. They knew that as well as I did.

      2. Every single product video was the exact same - for what 45 or so products??! - just with different words - they all had the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle fitting together lol - totally lame when you pay that much for the product.

      3. The drop shipping company for the free + shipping products was totally lame, got my name wrong, took days to email back even to acknowledge payment, i would go to great efforts to NEVER deal with them again.

      4. I never liked at the very beginning how automated the webinar was. to me a webinar is where you actually hear a human being, or more than one, talking live, able to answer questions. the way mike did this i found it pretty disrespectful for his potential customers.

      5. it took ages - like at least 10 days - to actually get my refund. even then they tried to sell me all this other stuff, ask me why more than once, etc etc.

      6. lots of the things in the members area didnt work properly on a mac like some of the programs, cant remember what now. when i enquired about it i got more attitude.

overall I would NEVER EVER buy ANYTHING from Mike Filsaime ever again. I was incredibly surprised and upset at the way i was treated, literally like cattle being prodded into wherever they think they can push you.

well damn it mike, we are ALL human beings, people don't like being treated like that!

i dont doubt that mike is an incredible marketer, I dont doubt that a lot of you on here maybe work with him very successfully and have a lot of respect for him - Im just saying that that particular sales funnel process, absolutely sucked big time.

I have to say there was one lady working there who was absolutely brilliant though and was apologising for everyone else!! becky maybe?? anyway she is a saint and redeems everyone else - just a shame she has to work with that negative energy.

hope this helps if anyones thinking of buying it

Someone contacted me who had purchased this.

I've studied the sites, the upsells, and everything associated.

On the basis of my extensive experience in marketing, copywriting and direct sales, I would advise anyone who asked me to find another way to make money on line.

Thanks for sharing your experience Clare, always better to know where you get into at the beginning of a process than at the end ...

I know this is probably getting too cynical, but your last point about Becky reminds me of the "good cop/bad cop" routine for some reason ...

        best,

      mmjalliance,

Please dont take it personal. Milking you for as much as they can get out of you or anyone who bought their product, is just being a savvy internet marketer. The point of discussion is, whether Mike can help us use his internet marketing skills to make us all money, through his product Franchise model secret.

It would be nice if you posted more details about your purchase of Mike Filsaime's Franchise model secret.

    Hi...

I've addressed Mike's franchise model on another thread and just came across this thread today. While not trying to repeat the comments above I have purchased the system... had BIG problems getting it running... and needed assistance along the way.

    BUT... I expected that.

Mike's offering a franchise model... not an automated money machine that you just switch on. Get real... he's sharing with us a sales funnel that works for him and the software he has developed to make it possible to replicate what he does... easily.

When did anything online work first time?

The CD's ... are varied.... some good, some weak... I agree. But you can go out there and source some great PLR for a few dollars more...and make your offer original. I had a new video created for $10.

It is a slick marketing vehicle that works. You just need to personalise it. If you believe you have any creative and marketing skills and are determined to build a business online this is the sweetest product you can find.

If anyone wants to know how I'm making money with it... PM me anytime.

If you want a very similar product at a fraction of the price (the poor man's version) I can redirect you towards that also... just ask me.

I have been a Mike Filsame student previously having read the thread I can only see one real positive on this product, when I was with Mike three years ago I got calls from the US on a daily basis offering all sorts of upsells and additional you need this too's and yes when you show little or no interest his call centre does hang up.

I did once tell one of his team that I was on another call - put my cell phone down left it for 30 minutes - went back to the phone asked who was calling again - said sorry not interested and hung up myself.

So if you are getting these calls that's how I stopped them comming - never had another call again.

As far as the newsletter is concerned however - I still have them and still reference them - they are actually very good and are current and do tell you what is working now in the broad sphere of IM....

        Hope this helps

Gurus have an uncanny way of milking money out of people. It's all hype and targets the emotion. They teach you one thing but you have to buy this more expensive product to make it work, if you buy that another more expensive product should be bought, it never ends. Sad because it's selfish and people who have less gets victimized.
