Having just submitted a load of them manually I would recommend an autosubmitter, although I don't use one at the moment.
I'll follow this thread with interest to see other opinions before deciding.

I heard that too!
I use Article Bot and really enjoy it. Once you get your accounts set up it goes really fast and I have been finding a good rate of acceptance and posting.
Much easier to use that Article Pro or similar progrms, also much less expensive.

  I have article bot and never used it because I heard some bad things about it. I tried to go through the list of article directories in the software and most was not working and other were very low quality. I have opted to go with magic article submitter but even that software is not updated as much as it should be.
  
  Incansoft RSSbot and pressbot is the ones I have the most success with but I would stay away from directorybot and articlebot until they are improved.

  I can see we are all split on Article Bot, it happens. But lonniewa2, Directory bot as been updated as of 2days ago, or so. It still need work but is working better now.

I have articlebot ... don't use it anymore since I switched over to a paid service (Unique Article Wizard), but it's very good for a one-off payment software.

I have tried it before, and while it's serviceable, I'd rather have it done manually, especially if you want humans clicking through to your website (and are not just using it for backlinking purposes). The robotic voice sounds fake at best, and I doubt that anyone's going to be fooled into thinking that a human actually did the voiceover on the video.

Paul-we must be talking about 2 different products. Articlebot is an article submitting software.

I just purchased article marketing robot and have just used it to create accounts so far but I am VERY impressed so far with it. I signed up to and confirmed about 1300 accounts on article directories, blogs and other sites in about 20 minutes all automatically and hands free since you can use decaptcher and death by captcha with it as well. Looks very promising, at least for me it does

I've had great success with ArticleBot. It does what it was designed to do and does it well. In fact, every Incansoft product that I own functions reliably.
Grab it for half price as John hinted, and its a no brainer!

No disrespect to Big Mike, but I've had a horrible success rate using his bots. Anyone actually check into the submissions? A lot of times it says successful when It really isn't, including articlebot.

Likewise - I couldn't work out how to make any of the bots work. I got a message from support saying "follow the instructions" The problem is that the instructions are obscure and the same for all the bots. So if you can't understand one bot, you can't get any of them to work.

I know from reports and reviews that Mike and Co are good guys. Their instructions do not work, however

I use Article bot for about half a year and I must say that price per value is good. There are about 350 relevant article directories in my profiel. According to the stats, each article is submitted to about 65% of the dirrectories. That is about 200 sites. In each article i include 2 backlinks. Means that for every article submision I get about 400 links to my site. As for me it is fair enough.

Don't buy any of Incansoft products. They are horrible... They might be better than manual or other submitters.

But from personal experience, I've found other softwares to be better. The whole Incansoft support sucks as well. They aren't clear about things. I won't buy Articlebot or any other incansoft product ever again.

If you're looking for something that does article submission with max success rate, try Article Marketing Robot.

If you are willing to pay a monthly subscription, Unique Article Wizard is good.

I use Unique Article Wizard, EZarticlelink and Article Marketing Robot. Have had success with all of these bits of software. If you can afford to use all three then it becomes really powerful

Article Marketing Robot works amazing! Use the free trial first, my backlinks were indexed very rapidly.

I also own Article Bot, by Incansoft. I love it.

Article Bot Pros:
- User Friendly (Easy to use GUI)
- Good Auto Registration
- I have been able to get my submission success rate to 75% through trial and error.
- Cheep
- Always being updated
- Customer Service Is The Best.
- Built in (BASIC) article spinner
- Submission Report (But i find it to be buggy)
- Ability to choose thread submission number (allows for very fast submission process)

Article Bot Cons:
- It takes a few trials to get it working perfect
- For some reason my submissions take about 2 weeks to be indexed. Not bad, just slower than AMR's websites.
- Some article directory websites are dead or die, but you can easily vet them out.

I had a problem with my articles not working, (saying success and not actually being indexed). I emailed Incansoft and got an immediate response. We worked on the issue and my software is running perfect now.

With AMR, i couldn't even find a contact e-mail that was readily available.

For the price of Article Bot, you can't go wrong and you can always return it. I feel safe with them.

Oh boy, I'm tired of hearing people say such and such is a 'no-brainer' when the only thing going for it is cost.

It's cheap for a reason. It's rubbish and hardly gets updated.

I've tried SocialBot and heard bad things about Articlebot.

Let me tell you, socialbot sucks.

Don't waste your money on these products. So what if its cheap.

If you're going to buy them you may as well throw $15 or $30 down the toilet.

Article Marketing Robot is by far the superior article submission software.

Article Demon is the new kid on the block and if its anything like bookmarking demon it will do well, and it might even catch up and over take AMR. But I think the developer of AMR is aware of this and will do what is necessary to keep AMR going strong.

Back to Incansoft products, just so you know its nothing personal. I've heard, from guys whose opinions I respect highly, that Incansoft's RSSBot IS actually quite good.

But I've also heard the word 'Abandonware Marketers' been mentioned along side Incansoft's name. So don't be surprised if there's zero support and zero updates 6 months from now for any Incansoft product you might buy.

Oh I love AMR.

AMR is better without a doubt, but I am reluctant to recommend it to 1st time uses of an Article Submitter. It is just my opinion.

I used the trial and its results are amazing! But for $127 new Internet Markets shouldn't learn on it. I plan on purchasing AMR next month. I'm just saying Incansoft is a great place to start, I started there and for only $12.

As I see it, a newbie would use Article Bot see how it works learn the business and the style of software for $30. You need to crawl before you can walk. Once he learned the idea of backlinks, how to get them to work, how to use a basic spinner; the student will be hungry for more, for the best. It is then that AMR is your "anchor" software. The strongest thing you have to market. (Just my take, hope you can agree)

It's better to do manual submissions for the top 20 article directories and use Articlebot for the others. The thing I like about Articlebot is that it's so quick to submit.

you never know which site accept your articles...
no way to to find the link within the software..

if you are just starting out IM get it, this is
cheapest solution..

if you are serious about article marketing
there are much better alternative to this software...

As an update, I bought ArticleBot and can say that so far I'm not impressed. I have an existing GoArticle account and input all that info into the interface and submitted an article. It confirmed that the article was accepted. I went over to my GoArticle account and it's not there.....grrrr

So, I'm trying the free 5 day trial on AMR. We'll see.

Thats what I found too. I tested this with articlebot socialbot and web20 bot.

Actually, web2.0 couldnt get very many successful registrations. Horrible success rate.

Well you say some submissions not successful though it says they were. To get to that point you had to get it to work. So don't understand what you're saying when you say you can't get them to work. More clarity please.

I too had the same result with ArticleBot. The software says success, but checking the article site, I see no article posted. I put in many tickets for this and kept getting a response that the next version would fix this. I'm still waiting.

As a software developer myself, I find this kind of response intolerable. I guess you get what you pay for.

Big Mike is a great guy on WF and helps a lot of people, but I don't like how they operate their bot software business.

I was getting ready to try AMR for local biz backlinks, and wanted to get some reviews given my negative experience and this thread popped on Goog. I like your feedback, so I am going to give this software a try. Will report back...

I personally had no luck with Articlebot. I wrestled with it for the better part of a weekend a few months back and never could get it to work right. I wouldn't recommend it.
