The best course I didn't actually buy (it was free,) but I did buy into it ... the Thirty Day Challenge. That is the one thing that changed my whole notion of what IM is all about.

When I saw your post, I couldn't resist . I bought Mass Control from Frank Kern and still find the information he presented valuable. And no, I don't regret it a bit! He certainly over delivers.

Without doubt - ARM (aka Monster Profits From Tiny Lists).

I long ago realised the power of building a list, so I invested in several 'recommended' email marketing courses. Unfortunately, all of the courses I bought taught the same thing - hammer your list to death.

Being on the receiving end of this strategy, as a result of being on many IM Guru lists, made me realise that this wasn't a long term strategy - I can't tell you how many lists I have unsubscribed from because I became sick of being constantly bombarded with offer after offer.

I knew that there had to be a way to build a list that people were actually delighted to be on, because it continually provided them with lots of value (i.e. what Jay Abraham calls the 'Strategy of Preeminence').

I therefore tried to come up with my own method, using 'moving the freeline' stuff that I had learned in Eben Pagan's mentoring programme, but it was really slow going. Luckily for me I am on Peter Spaepen's list, who is one of the few ethical (real) IM Gurus that I know, and he recommended ARM.

I bought it. I implemented it. The results blew me away. It definitely lives up to its 'Monster Profits From Tiny Lists' tag, and I can't recommend it highly enough. In fact, if you visit the ARM site, you'll see my ugly mug as one of ARM's happy customers.

          Cheers, Gary.

Thanks for starting what is proving to be a great thread, of course the best ones are the ones that are FREE for example the Blueprint Black tools (see appropriate thread on here).

Just remember that there is a huge amount of FREE open source software out there or cut down versions, for example if you don't need the huge Photoshop get GIMP for free or Adobe elements for a fraction of the cost.

Just off the top of my head:

    1. Market Samurai
    - use this tool all the time. SO worth much more than it cost. Use it for seo and local marketing and it's made me WAY more than I ever paid for it.

    2. Hostgator Hosting
    - dependable and cost-effective

    3. War Room Membership
    - there's so much value and content, you could come here and use the information to make more than you would with a 4 year degree (and not have the student loans to pay back.) It's that powerful.

My introduction and first learning curve came from Mark Ling with his Affiloblueprint and although I've bought quite few since then, including Bring The Fresh which I don't regret buying either, I think I can honestly say Mark Ling's was the one I was most grateful for.

While Bring The Fresh is probably the best, I wouldn't recommend it to rank newbies just starting out.
