Everybody who does keyword research here LOVES Market Samurai. Some are more partial to Micro Niche Finder, which is another package everyone who does keyword research LOVES.

I don't do keyword research. *shrug* But as far as things go... look, $149 is nothing. You target just one halfway decent niche, you'll make your money back. Agonising over an expense this small is not even worth the time.

This^^^^^. I live by it. It's the cat's meow, the bees knees, it is to keyword research as Monet is to art. Just sayin'.

You know, that is actually a compelling enough offer that I might take them up on it. I keep thinking I should do a "how to do keyword research" product.

      I'm a bit puzzled about this link...
It's a link to get a 35% discount on M-Samurai but are we allowed to use it? I mean, wasn't that emssage targeted at a specific person (you Ken? perhaps)? Can other people actually cash in on that sweet deal?
      If so, partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy time!!!
And a big TY for posting it here if it does work.
I have been using a free 40 day trail of mraketing samurai through the great free online course I'm taking and they give us MS as a free tool.
It is really easy to use and delivers quick, reliable and extremly efficient results, saving people hours at a time of tedious research.

I personally have both MKT SAM and MNF and I have to say I use MKT SAM far more although MNF does have its place as well.

At $97 this is a steal! If you're "on the fence" then hop off quickly and snatch this offer up before it goes back up to the normal price...once you use it you won't ever look back.

I have or had it but I couldn't get it to upgrade so I uninstalled it and now I haven't been able to reinstall at all. I did like it a lot but am not happy with the fact that I really didn't get any help in the reinstallation problem.

I am one of those who is partial to MNF but they are both great in different ways. MNF updates easily but has had some problems lately as well.

Oh and both can be quite addicting.

Before you buy it I'd suggest going to their website and watching the tutorial videos, specifically the 4 golden rule ones and you will realise how amazing this tool is.

I have it and only really started using it a week or so ago, it's really good and at $97 you wont find a better product for KWR.

I have it and bought it IIRC at the full price; and well worth it!

The only problem I have is it takes about 5 minutes to load on both my desktop and my laptop (1.5 GHz and 2.2 GHZ.) So unless you have a current machine, you might find it major annoying when you start.

That said, it runs a bit slow but mostly okay once it has started up. One of these days, I'll have to upgrade my working computers.

If you do a lot of keyword research, will be using the same outsourcer on a continuing basis, and can explain precisely how to do that research every bit as well as you could do it yourself... yes.

For me, that's three strikes and the idea is outta there.

Maybe I'm over-cautious, but I would never outsource keyword research.

The choice of keywords makes or breaks a product, and either way, I need to be the initiator of the outcome.

I love M.Samurai not just for finding keywords but for all of the benefits the product holds.

I'd recommend that you follow the advice given by Joshyybaxx, then you will have a much better idea why MS is such a great tool for internet marketers.

MS is a no brainer as it is much more than a keyword research tool. Its great for assessing market competition, monetisation to touch on a few. Outsourcing keyword research is an option, however I prefer to stay on top of things and MS makes it easier, Perhaps your outourcers can provide ideas and prelimary KW research and you can investigate further?

We have been using the free version of MS for 6 months now for our high volume seo company and it does everything we need it to do. If you're using the free version you just need to also use the free version of Traffic Travis (for data on competition). I should add that I have the professional version on my laptop but our employees use the free version as I didn't feel like shelling out the multiple $150 payments. But like I said the free version is all you need. It pulls good clean lists. It also gives pretty accurate exact search counts. Must have tool for sure.

I've had it for sometime. I like that it helps you think outside the box when looking for niches.

They show you the practial use for MS. There is a MS dojo site that has loads of training videos aswell. I wouldnt be as experianced as others in the IM world but i think it was a great buy.

I own Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder and use both. I don't use Market Samurai to conduct keyword research but I use it track the rank of my keywords. I believe the rank tracker alone is worth more than the price tag but if you can get it for under $100, you are golden.

Dennis.... If you want to outsource you still have to know what to tell your outsourcers to do. If you don't know how, what and what software to use you can't teach some-one else. I have MS and its simply the best.
Most people think they can just outsource stuff without having made it work themselves first. In my mind this a mistake as your outsourcer is only as good as you!

Market Samurai is an amazing tool. The price is very reasonable considering this is a one time fee and you get updates for life.

    Greetings 100Banz,

In my opinion Market Samurai at $149 is a great investment.

Most especially when you consider that it is going to save you some was between 70% up to to 95% of your time that is necessary to do the research.

Your time is money ... and this time could be used elsewhere in your Internet marketing business to add add profits to your bottom line.

If you do will search for a 12 day trial of Market Samurai ... during the trial they will make an offer for you to you for $97.00 ... That makes it a no-bainer fantastic investment.

All the best and wishing you and your family great health and prosperity in 2011 .... Ron

Fantastic deal at $149 and at $97 its a steal. Looking back at it compared to a few other products I have bought I would have gladly paid 2x more for it. MS teamed up with SEO Link Robot and ScrapeBox gives you a IM department in a box!

Look if you are already making a few bucks on line and still pondering if this is worth the buy you may as well light a few twenty dollar bills every once in while just for the heck of it because essentially you would be throwing money away using lesser tools.

Now if money is an issue and your a die hard you can do much of it functions for free but what would take hours can be done in minutes and you get a lot more data.

Consider watching a few videos on the makers site on how it is used and you will be hard pressed to keep your CC in your pocket!!!

It all depends on what you're doing?

MNF is good for finding exactly that "micro niches", and is better for finding small narrow niches and working its way up to a larger niche(s), whereas MS is best used for wider niches, then narrowing down.

But as most others have said MS is much more than keyword research.

      It also has the following:
      - Rank tracker: to keep tabs on all your URL's that have or dont have rank in the search engines, and a history of what positions they are for that term over time (priceless)

      - Keyword research (this is I believe the most used section of MS)

      - Seo competition (what to know how to knock off the top dog for your keyword, then this is the section)

      - Domains: find keyword rich domains

      - Monetization: you can find products and services to promote using clickbank, amazon etc..

      - Find content: a brilliant way of finding content via numerous sources, also see how many times the article has been published and the page rank - simply super

      - Publish content: push content out to blogs etc

      - Promotion: simple easy way to find some good quality backlinks

      - Adwords (coming soon)

So all up well worth the small investment.

its actually a 14 days trial.
and yes you're correct. after the trial you still get access to keyword research tool but everything else gets blocked.

also, jeff johnson has made a deal with the guys at MS to give a 30 days free trial instead of 14 days. look around for the post on market samurai on his blog, you'll find it. And ofcourse, that link he gives you will be an affiliate link.
