I started making squeeze pages with a free software call myfreewebsitebuilder.com You can make websites and squeeze pages and they have video tutorials that break everything down for you.

You can try out Instant Squeeze Page Generator Point and click wizard

I'm not sure what type of control your looking for with your squeeze page but this place has all the templates and graphics done you basically just fill in your content ad a pic and go to town. They host the pages for you also and allow you to use aweber and some other auto responders that are out there.
