Default rockstar alliance vegas seminar

anyone attend the rockstar alliance seminar in vegas last week?

i was there and was wondering what anyone else may have thought of it.

my take on it was that it was a bit disappointing.

the main reason it was disappointing is that the 3 amigos jon, greg, and luke touted that the seminar will fill in the gaps from the 5 presale webinars and contain a bunch of new information. unfortunately that was not the case. luke may have had a bit of new info, but greg presented nothing new and only repeated information from the 5 presale webinars. jon did a demo of the new rockstar power suite software but it was pretty lame to be honest. i think that most folks who ordered the seminar dvd's will be disappointed for shelling out $1k.

however, what may make up for it is the power suite software which is included in the price of the dvd's. we'll have to wait and see how the software pans out. the real value in the rockstar alliance thus far has been in the 5 presale webinars. the information given there is easily worth $1k. i recorded all the webinars and let me tell you, the system that greg lays out there is pure gold. you put in the time and follow his system and you're gonna make some big money. it's gonna take money to get started, but what business doesn't? the rewards can be huge. greg's system is way better than any i've come across, including those in $2k courses.

there definately were some positives to attending the vegas seminar: got to meet jon, got to meet some interesting folks in attendance, got to go to the ECM (elite clicks media) zen mansion, got to hang around affiliate summit a little bit, and of course kickin it in vegas.

bottom line is although the vegas seminar may not have lived up to expectations, the rockstar alliance is doing some incredible things, and it's definately worth being a part of.

I didnt go to the seminar but I thought the webinars were great. Did they show any examples of their monetization pathways? And did they provide resources on how to build monetization pathways? I found this website from the same guys: cashflowrockstar.com but it doesn't seem to be launched yet... seems interesting.

Is this a lame attempt to promote a product?

I only go to Vegas for AEE. Who wants to hang out with a bunch of dorky marketers?

cash flow rockstar isnt my site. If you look at the webinars from the rockstar alliance you will see the url at the bottom of the slide. I'm just interested if they mentioned anything at the seminar.

Hey Oranje,

Have you signed up for the membership site?
Wondering if they are going to go in detail on the monetization pathways.

Thanks

@piperj - yes, they did show one example of their actual pathway. it was a debt bailout pathway qualification form.

yes, they did provide resources, mostly third party stuff. the one resource of theirs offerred was of luke's own call center.

@jasonmorgan - "Is this a lame attempt to promote a product?"

no, this isn't a lame (nor any other type for that matter) attempt to promote a product.

i was actually quite critical in the post of the so called product: the training in vegas.

what i do give a big thumbs up for is the free training that greg provided in the pre-vegas webinars, which describes a clever systematic approach to scaling traffic with media buys (first use cpv to test for winning landing pages, then use ppc to test for winning text ads, then use the winning text ads to create banner ads to test on self serve media buy networks, and finally move the winning banner ads to big media buy sites to fully scale).

"Who wants to hang out with a bunch of dorky marketers?"

if they're doing millions annually, willing to share great tactics for free, and partying in mansions in vegas, then i (and probably a few others) do.

@luke69 - well anyone attending the vegas event or buying the dvd's from the event automatically gets access to a membership site, so yes i went in there.

right now the site includes 3 things standard for the vegas attendees: replays of the pre-vegas webinars, video recording of the vegas event itself, and what appears to be the full version of the power suite sofware for download.

there was also an offer made at the vegas event for additional coaching, so anyone signing up for that would have this extra service in their membership area.

also, within the past 2 weeks, the 3 amigos created a new cpa network called rockstar alliance media. i signed up for that and did get accepted.

so far detail on the pathways has been limited to the pre-vegas webinars and what was covered in vegas, where luke talked for about 2 hours.

@oranje - I wanted to go to the seminar after viewing all the webinars but I couldn't make it....

Can you provide the example monetization site? and any of the third party resources they recommend.

Also like I mentioned earlier in the thread, I noticed that Luke's webinar slides had a tag for cashflowrockstar.com . It seems like a monetization pathway template. I opted in but it seems like the auto responder is disabled. Did they mention anything about this site?

Well, during the Epic Traffic System event in Atlanta, Luke gave a good presentation on this topic. Then he promised that he would set up a pathway for those in the audience that was interested. Well, he never followed through on that promise or replied to any email about it. Though, guess he had bigger plans. Anyway, the strategy is very good.

I enjoyed the free videos as well. They were really good and this was the 3rd time that I came across something like this for CPA/lead generation so I thought God must be telling me something. LOL!

@Oranje: have you implemented the strategies that they talked about? They mentioned getting someone on odesk to create a php form builder. I found a few software programs that will create forms but not sure if they will do exactly what they recommended. I'm curious as to what you have found.

@ Oranje or any RSA seminar purchaser

I was seriously considering purchasing the Las Vegas training. I pretty much predicted the one day seminar wouldn't provide much more detail than the 4 webinars. There's no way they could cover that much content in 8 hours with questions. However, the main reason I want to purchase is to gain access to Luke Sample's call center connections for monetization, and secondly the Jon Shugart's Rockstar Suite.

Have you received everything promised in the course yet?

Any opinion or comments?
