I'm curious about this too, having read the sales letter. I didn't even know Yahoo offered PPC. The product is $77, not outrageous if it's any good, but not a giveway price either, so I'd like to see one or two objective reviews.

Yeah Yahoo does offer paid search, its not as versatile as Google and the traffic is lower.

Bought it and returned it immediately.
Just a rehash of Google adwords for beginners.
No "glitch" whatsoever.

There are some things on that sales page that don't ring true. For example, it says one of the reasons Google sucks is because it doesn't allow people to use affiliate links, which is totally not true. The rule is no more than one display url but affiliates CAN direct link.

A lot of it rubbed me wrong with the claims it makes and looks like it will only fool people who are really new. I was almost offended as I read it feeling like I was being spoken to as if I am stupid.

It's not true that Yahoo and MSN clicks are always cheaper. Very often they can be the same or more expensive. I know this from doing it.

They also had about the same number of impressions in the screenshots for both Yahoo and Google and while those might be real (or not) you probably will not get the same number of searches on Yahoo as Google. So even if those numbers are true, because they were for keyword phrases that might only happen to get searched as much in Yahoo as in Google, it might only give people the false "impression" you can get Google numbers in Yahoo in general, which at least in my experience you can't.

Quality of traffic and conversions is something else though and may or may not be different from one search engine to another but I'm talking about traffic volume.

But, whatever I see wrong with it could just be claims on the sales page when in fact the product itself might be good. I dunno.

I can't comment on the product itself since I don't have it but the sales letter bugs me.

What's ironic is(unless they changed the rule) Yahoo itself doesn't allow affiliate links....period. They only allow you to promote sites you actually own....again, assuming they haven't changed the rule. As recently as 8 months ago, you couldn't. I haven't tried since then though, but it had been a longstanding rule going back to the early days of Overture.

They do. Happened about 10 months ago or something mainly for their developed relationship with Commission Junction.

I noticed about a month ago they didn't allow my ads when I direct linked but it was because there was already another advertiser for the same merchant. So they must have the same one display url rule as Google but from what I remember they don't call it that it was more about only one unique web site per keyword rule, which is the same difference anyway.

There's still ways around that though.

Brought it, and asking for a refund, it is for totally newbie, someone never heard of PPC. A 125 page long could have been less than 50 pages.

Nothing new to learn, I do not market much through Yahoo, but I know more than this earlier,

This is mainly being pushed by the same djk, google assasin, rob benwell etc.

Most of the products pushed by these guys seem to be rehashed and aimed at newbies. as a newbie u might well find it useful tho.

i've not bought the product nor intend to so cant comment on the content of the actual product - rather this is just an opinion.

Yahoo does allow affiliate links. I've done it with a domain I owned that redirected to the Clickbank product page.

As stated above, the MAIN selling point was this supposed "Glitch"... shoulda known. Nothing about it in the book, just re-hashed DJK stuff.

Those guys really ought to be brought to task on this. Just plain, outright, overt, in-your-face BS. The "say anything" school of salesletter writing.

I only wish I could 'rate' them in Clickbank. I might just take the time to write Clickbank a personal email.

Yes, I had the same reaction. But I think it's even worse than the DJK stuff, because there isn't a single thing in this book that anyone but a rank, green, just off the street newbie wouldn't already know. They make it sound like using misspelled words is some earth shattering discovery. That's really about as meaty as it gets. They talk about their 2 brilliant strategies all through the book. But when you get to that section, it turns out that the two strategies are using search and using the content network. But nowhere is there any "Glitch" of any kind discussed. Just the stuff the rawest newbie probably already picked up in this forum.

Normally I would never reveal what is inside someone's work. But after reading the sales letter, then the book, this is just unreal. The discrepancy is so great that I really had to say something. I would bet there have been a lot of refunds today. One thing I'm definitely going to do - unsubscribe from any guru who recommended this. That tells me exactly how much their recommendations are worth.

Heres my review:-
It is really PPC in a nutshell
Its not particularly comprehensive.
A total newbies guide it is NOT as there's a lot of general information not given - intermediates who know what they are doing will see thru it straight away.
And the GLITCH - well I couldnt find it! the Glitch 'seemed' to be the focusing on doing PPC absolutely properly, separate add groups for content and search and sub divided into as many other sub groups as possible for every misspelling and combination of a keyword. Then test test and test ads, keywords, content, search, everything over and over. Using Yahoo's greater flexibility with the tight Google training we already know off by heart to get to the top of the ad positions in the ppc game. Is that a GLITCH? NO - just proper procedure for everyone!
It is a direct linking methodology, with a hint at owning websites at the end as many links are supplied (affiliated - i suppose!) for domains and hosting, but no explanation is given what to do with these.
The only glitch is my brain malfunctioned long enough for me to buy it... duhhh!:confused: Refund Please!!

I must admit I was tempted to buy this after reading the sales page. I thought that this could be the Yahoo equivalent of the MSN loophole.

I decided not to buy and wait for some reviews on this. Glad I did as it would seem that "Yahoo Cash 4 Idiots" qualifies for the worse product of the year.

The sales page is so dishonest that Clickbank should be informed about this.

Im glad i had a look at this thread before handing over my cash to buy this product. It looks as if these guys are going to end up with a huge refund count judging by the reviews thus far. Once again, buyer beware - if it sounds too good to be true....

Good comments guys, refreshing to see people on here post their honest opinions about a rubbish product and get away from the "rule" where forum members frown on product bashing.

If it's crap, let's out the author for what he is. I think we all should unsubscribe from any "guru" that recommends this stuff. I did months ago.

I also receive the same Email promotion from Anik. In the meantime I have unsubscribed from his mailing list.

Anyone who promotes such junk is only using a mailing list as an ATM. I don't want to receive receive Emails from anyone who recommends a rubbish product.

I agree 100% and I've shed a lot of guru email weight over the last few months and my inbox thanks me. The person who sent this offer to me didn't even have an unsubscribe link in the email so I had to put a block on his domain, but at least I won't be hearing from him again.

I had a look at the first video that was linked from one of the gazzilion emails I got for this.

I don't know if anybody else had a look at this video (it's the one with the guy talking about the system). To me it looked like he was sitting on his bed shooting the video.

Now it might just be me, but somebody who claims to make 200K plus a month could PROBABLY have afforded a better setting for his video than his bedroom...

That and the so-called glitch were what cooled me down on this product.

First of all, I highly doubt the search engines have any glitches apart from the ones they actually want there. Second, if there is a glitch in Yahoo, how long after people start marketing a Yahoo glitch product will it take Yahoo to plug it tight ?

Wary of this one personally.

I purchased the product and thought it was actually pretty good.

I did up a Review / Bonus page and everyone who purchased through my page told me they like the product.

I guess it's all about 2 each is own.

LOL, that's the exact same thought I had when I watched that video! I mean damn if you're going to go through all that effort to create a facade couldn't you at least make a video where you don't look like you're shooting from inside a trailer park!

This may sound like an odd question, but I have not bought Yahoo Cash For Idiots.

Thing is, I am seeing an odd amount of traffic to my product (one week marketing) from INSIDE the members area of Yahoo Cash 4 Idiots. It's not even an affiliate link.

Is there a product search feature in that program or something?

having just read it and watched the 3 videos it is a very disappointing product. No secret "glitch" as far as i can see!

As someone who is very pc and internet savvy, but a total newbie to ppc - i wanted something much more step by step and comprehensive, that would take me from zero to full campaign, and it didnt do that either.

a refund will be requested I'm afraid which is a shame as I had high hopes for this product from the sales page.

Here's the thing, I get on board a lot of product launches.. and I always ask for a review copy.. and you know what.. I know a number of fellows who just want me to write a review based on what's on the sales copy.. this is ridiculous, we know sales pages are there to SELL... and I have seen sales pages do a darn good job at that, selling a product that was totally disappointing..

Hi guys.

Glad I found this thread. I've been thinking about purchasing Yahoo4Idiots for over a month now as I thought it would fit good into my diversification strategy. From what I understood from the salesletter this would be like a step-by-step guide to PPC with Yahoo, not having to write review pages etc. Like someone else mentioned above, i thought it was like the MSNLoophole with PPC which would have been great. Yahoo is far behind google on many things so I thought that there actually was a method that could be used as a "secret" glitch...

Stupid me

Before, I hit the order button today I decided to search the warrior forum...smart choice it seems.

If it is as bad as it sounds here, I do not wanna read through 125 pages of junk. No orders from me no!

Basically, one could just take a good course on Adwords and apply it to Yahoo, right?

  I did buy this and I am a newbie. I found it not a very useful tool and I signed up for their website were they give you their selected keywords. I tried one campaign and lost my money faster than you could say spit. I just didn't know what I was doing and it was a big mistake. By the way, I bought that before I knew about the Warrior Forum. I think PPC in general should be avoided by anyone who is new to IM. There are so many other ways to make money and get your feet wet before you step into that arena. I guess I was an idiot for buying it but I had newbie disease, I wanted fast money with no work. Forget it and move on.

There are better ways to learn PPC than this. And its free, just google for articles and guides, there are loads more free resources out there, and things you can get without spending a dime.
