I didn't know about this. I haven't signed up yet, but wanted you to know that, as an experienced quilter, I am truly impressed with the video of the blind quilter in Texas. What an experience! I have to look at this some more but wanted to thank you.

I bought Video Forward from a webinar sent to me from a guru i trust at the time, WISH i did my research first, here's my problem i look everywhere too I can not find reviews or testimonials from real members.

It's looks like the owner is indeed the only one making money. Perhaps that's why they use PayPal to pay out commissions if any.

No one still have not answer the question. Are members making any sales
i'm not talking about the gurus friends testimonials on sales pages, it's looks like a BIG Fat No.

Just watched a video about the product, says their are over 3400 members, and 68% came from referrals of members, but none of them must be here. Ron Douglas, the owner says the site has 117k back links and the training is worth more than the membership. looks to me to be mainly for newbies. Today the price is a one time membership fee of $97.00 paying 50% referral fee. Says this is a special only good for today.

Starting Next week, going to charge $20.00 per month.

He also owns trafficsage.com doing SEO for the big name gurus.

    Hope this helps others.

If you don't know Ron Douglas yet, he is NY Times best selling author of "america's most wanted recipes" and works with Simon & Schuster. Ron is one of the most amazing success stories out there.

His site, VideoForward is an amazing site that is well, of awesome value. it's not just for newbies, even Willie Crawford is a member. I am a member as well, and just posted a couple of videos.

Personally...I don't see any need for this service. It basically allows you to make adsense money off your videos. However, Youtube also allows you to make money from your videos as well and Youtube adsense service is free. Why pay for it?

Yes, Youtube allows you to make money from YOUR videos. However VideoForward lets you make money off OTHER PEOPLE'S videos. So you don't have to create the content.

There's nice money to be made off everybody who joins up under you, but I am very unsure if I'm ready to fork out the money for it. I'd love to try it for a few weeks and see if I can maks money with it or not.

When I've found something really worthwhile to sell, I might change this sig line. But at the moment I've got nothing for you.

I was on the promo webinar a few nights ago. I don't have the $97 to sign up, but I checked out the site, There is a free trial you can sign up for, but I don't know how long it's for.

I doubt that the people making decent money with the site will see this thread and have time to post here. Typically the people who post in threads like this are the small minority of customers who want to place the responsibility on the program for their lack of success in life.

Ron Douglas.. goodness you found your way here!

Now before this snowballs.. It looks like this can be fixed easy and it starts with an R and ends with a D.

I have a VF account and bought it early on for 97 bucks. Mostly bought it for the backlinks to my main site as Ron said it had very high rankings, but haven't used it since google said it violated adsense t.o.s. somehow. That was a while ago, so I'm guessing they fixed that issue

Yeah I bought in a while ago. People sign up easy so that's good, so have made some bucks. Have an issue getting the affiliate payment at times so stay on top of them as I have not seen all the few bucks i made, come in yet even though I contacted support over 2 months ago. Its good for back links and building a list that's for sure as the offer is tempting. As to the big full time income well I don't see it and don't expect to - if i do I will let you know.

I joined the program the first week it launched (that was long ago btw), just because I knew it was gonna create some buzz.

I don't expect to make much money from uploading videos and honestly don't have much time for that. I only joined for the affiliate program and I think I'm one of the top affiliates. In the beginning, there were some issues with payments being sent on time, but now I think this is solved.

    Hello all,

I just got an email from Ron Douglas that says that as of Dec 20, 2012 due to recent changes with Google he will be shutting down Video Forward & that Google has already deleted Video Forward from it's search results . Here is the email I received 45 minutes ago :

    "Debbie,

I regret to inform you that after four very successful years, over
7,900 members, and 78,656 videos posted, we will be shutting down
Video Forward.com on Dec 20th, 2012 due to recent changes with
    Google.

Over the years, there have been thousands of member-generated pages
added to the site with the same content or with very little
    descriptive text.

Therefore Google has deemed that the site doesn't meet it's quality
guidelines and has deleted Video Forward from it's search results.

Google has also disabled Video Forward from displaying Adsense ads.

For these reasons, we will be shutting down the site.

I accept full responsibility for these penalties because I created
a model back in 2009 which was heavily dependent on Google for it's
    success from the start.

Here's what will happen after Dec 20th, 2012:

    1) New video pages and new member registrations will be disabled.

    2) The existing pages on the site will remain intact. You can
continue displaying ads and earning money from the traffic to your
pages, however you just can't use Adsense ads.

    3) All pending subscriptions to the site will be cancelled and
there will be no further billing.

    4) Being that there will be no further billing, there will also be
no further customer support provided for the site.

    4) If you would like us to remove all your video pages, profile
page, and your entire account, contact our support desk and this
    will be done for you.

    5) To compensate members, I will be doing a free training showing
you how you can set up a Video Forward style site on your own blog
and avoid getting penalized by the search engines. This way you
can still make money with this model on your own site, but you can
include quality, original content which will get you search engine
traffic. Time and details to be announced.

If you have any questions please contact our support desk.

In conclusion, I am very proud of what we accomplished with
Video Forward. We had a great four year run and many people made
their first money Online through the site. But I guess all good
things come to an end eventually, and this is no different.

I really appreciate all the members who signed up and I hope I was
at least able to teach you something useful from the trainings I
    produced.

I wish you all the best.

    Sincerely,

    Ron Douglas
    Chief Video Forwarder "

You can set up a video autoblog and set up adsense ads what's the difference?

Is this a multi level marketing scheme?

    I don't see the point .....

Now it's a subscription based affiliate marketing site. I didn't use adsense. All my money came from affiliate commissions

I don't think he's telling the whole story. I think he's just making excuses.

I don't understand why he doesn't restructure the website to work within Google's new rules.

I don't see many people using Google AdSense on Video Forward.

And the part about not enough description doesn't make sense either, have you ever noticed how much description is on you tube video's, some of them don't even have any descriptions, and if that is the problem raise the 100 character minimum to 300 or 500.

It would have been nice if he had given advanced notice about no longer adding video's to video forward, I received my email 12/14/12, stating he was shutting down video forward by 12/20/12 so I figured I would still have time to add a few more video's, but he already shut down that part of video forward on 12/14/12.

And how long will those that decide to keep there pages active be allowed to use video forward, with out billing who's going to pay for Hosting.
