I develop and work with word press templates and websites for 80% of all of busienss and clients needs...

I wanted to open this thread so it can benefit all warrior members...

With So many Word Press Plug Ins to choose from now it can be very confusing for new WP online marketers and web developers....

What are your Top 10 Must Have WP Plug ins and more importantly why is it in your Top 10, and what practical use does it serve ?

Hey Jason,

No you are not going crazy but yes you could be excused for thinking that you were living in a time portal....

Yes my account was ok but one of the moderators decided to delete 8 x threads that I added yesterday they said it was to quick.... Must have had a bad day, support let me know.....

So yes we lost all of that quality information shared by yourself and the other great warrior members in the blink of an eye.....

Not a good welcome to the warrior forum, I must say since i have been sharing their website for 8 years now.... So I decided it was time for me to get more involved with the community and become a valuable contributor...

So like everything I do I got stuck right into it with 8 threads that everyone can benefit from but obviously one of the moderators was not having a good day and deleted all 8 threads, by accident they tell me, and they could not be retrieved !!

Back to the future my friend, lets start fresh again : )

Don't see pingler in the list... so I'll add a vote for that as it means you don't need to mess with the ping list, and your posts continue to get pinged on a regular basis

Generally i only use a handful as thats really all you need , most are overkill. I bought a site on flippa that had 34 plugins enabled!

Platinum Seo - Best seo plugin I have found you can import your allin on seo info so switching is a breeze
max blog press ping optimizer - It limits the pings that go out as wordpress pings even from editing. It will keep you from getting sandboxed from pinging.
Max blog press fav icon tool - add your fav icon wih out touching a bit of code. Simply add your picture and it will do the rest.

Analytics
cystats - A form of analytics stats but every thing is on one page.
Similar post - adds similar post from your site at the end of every post. Great for building internal links to other post.
Tubepress - Great for adding your youtube channel to its own page on your wordpress site.

I actually have a few others that I use on most of my sites but those are the ones that go on every single one for the most part. With the exception of a couple listed above like tubpress
Ping Crawl Turbo - Adds related post from other sites and pings them to let the owner know you linked to them and in many cases they will link back.

I have to agree with this ones. I use a plugin to automate my tweets as well tho'. A good twitter account is very valuable for traffic and why not automate the tweets (thus to be sent each time you edit or post a new blog post).

1. Automated Income Machine - best autoblogging plugin I know of. Posts from several places, is integrated with ping.fm, auto social bookmarks each post, creates 4 different kinds of sitemaps, and submits + pings each sitemap to Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Ask.com.

2. cbnet Ping Optimizer - automatically pings my posts and keeps me from ping spamming.

3. Easy Contact - you can create your contact page in about 9 seconds with this.

4. Easy Privacy Policy - same as Easy Contact, but with privacy policies.

5. PC Robots.txt - automatically creates your robots.txt file.

6. Platinum SEO Pack - pretty straightforward. It makes Google happy so it makes me happy too.

7. WP-SpamFree - no spam no worries.

8. SEO Smart Links - good for internal linking.

9. SEO Super Comments - creates backlinks from your blog comments.

10. Smart 404 - redirects the visitor if they find something that can't be found. Lol.

This thread makes me realize that I use a lot of plugins. On one blog I have 27, but normally I try to keep it down to 15.

Anyway, this combination tends to help me get to page 1 pretty quick (1-7 days) for micro niche keywords. Nice thread, Clayton.

* SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 - adds incoming search terms at end of post or in the sidebar, great for internal linking.
* WordPress Database Backup - if you've ever suffered from a screwed up wordpress install and you had no backup :| then you'll surely be needing this.
* StatPress - solid stats
* Google Analytics for WordPress
* Google XML Sitemaps - never need wory about adding your sitemaps to google again
* MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer - already mentioned
