Hi,
I am new to the Info Product Killer...After reading good reviews about this product on this forum I bought the course. (this course is about my 20 course of IM that I bought!)
I watched all the videos of the course and it looked really really good!!!!!
I loved the OPSEO videos!!!
But now I searched again on this forum about this course and I saw that the method (OPSEO) is not good for google anymore.
Is that true? Should I try a different method and not waist my time on bulding sites as the IPK teaches?
Thank you for your time and help!!!
Eva.

    Stop Buying Courses

Take action on what you've already learned.

Move your mind into THAT phase of this business or you'll regret it three years from now when you've done nothing but buy courses.

    There are no secrets.
    1. You need to send quality traffic to an offer that converts for that traffic.

(By the way, THAT is the business. Period. The end.)

    2. To do that you need to produce content.
    3. After you produce content, build some more minor content for backlinks and get those backlinks out there. You only need a few good ones.
    4. Ping each backlink URL once.
    5. Wake up tomorrow and do steps 1 through 4 again.
    6. Don't stop.
Resist temptation to buy or download any further magic beans until you've built up a full time income. Then you can jump back in and study more. Just do the basics above until you establish your workflow with results.

(And forget about Google hating this or that. Google wants what searchers want. Decent content that has enough value in it that people click on it and read it for at least a few seconds. Just provide even a little value in your writing and you'll be fine. Just write...or you're sunk.)

I was about to comment but Michael has said it pretty well really.

Focus on making something work, stop buying courses, toss a coin and take action on something.

There are so many ways to make money online, you need to pick one and go for it.

Michael, this is a great post. We are ALL searchers on Google. Why do we forget the experience? When I'm searching for some info, I want it to solve a problem I have or deliver info on something I'm looking into buying [i.e., "best coffeemaker" or "46" HDTV"]. Then, when I've narrowed it down to a few well-spoken of items, I'll search by specific model, prepared to buy at this point.

I am so new that I do not know the best ways to drive the traffic. I know that this is bringing up exactly what you say not to do but I found a John Reese Traffic Secrets 2.0 used for $100.00. Yes or no? If no what are the best ways to learn

You could buy 20 more courses and still be where you are now. I agree with Michael and Richard. Just get in the habit of doing.

Don't worry what the experts say works or doesn't at the moment. I'm sure you could search this forum for every subject and someone would have said that it doesn't work.

I've made a lot of money doing things that "no longer work"...

This is a good point I was discussing with a guy here the other day, the "new shiny things" people keep buying are more often than not rewritten versions of something that's been done for years.

People always look for the "new" methods when more often than not whats worked for years, still works today.

I only ever buy stuff now I need to learn about. My last two purchases were a great 40 video Wordpress tutorial and a product creation course. They're nothing to do with "get rich quick" they're to help me get more efficient at what I do.

I agree with much of the the sentiment expressed in reply so far

To answer your IPK question. There is nothing wrong with the system. There are at least 3 copycat systems on sale in the WSO section at the moment.
There might be a few aspects where I would not follow the system to the letter - e.g. trademarks in urls. Other than that you will make money if you spend the next 3 months working on it. You should do this to the exclusion of all else to succeed.

        Are there better systems? Maybe
Will it work? For most people

        • I found IPK to be a good product - well thought out and designed. It also has good backup in the way of site building etc.

BUT!!! IT WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU STOP LOOKING FOR THE EASY MONEY - REALISE THAT AS WITH ANYTHING WORTHWHILE IT WILL TAKE SOME EFFORT - YES THE DIRTY FOUR LETTER WORD WORK - FOCUS ON IT AND LEARN FROM IT - GIVE IT A FAIR GO!!!!

IF ANY GOOD ADVICE WAS EVER GIVEN TO ME IT WAS - FOCUS!

I bought and have used IPK system and still have IPK sites that are doing fine and making Amazon sales. Nothing wrong with the technique at all. It's a good product.

IMO the IPK OPSEO techniques trigger over optimisation filters in Google these days. The strategy is as the name implies 'killer' but I'd tame down the on page optimisation.

The sites rank very highly as soon as they are indexed but either completely disappear, get slapped with a -30 penalty or similar or dance around like crazy after a couple of weeks.

They are still great for Christmas if you time them right but don't expect a long term income from them and don't expect the kind of figures quoted in the course. I made around £1K from 15 sites last Christmas, plenty of sales but the toys were low ticket items.

A far better course which will stand the test of time is Bring the Fresh. Or if you're keen on physical products Deadbeat Super Affiliate.
