Hey all. I'm wondering if any of you know of a screen capture program that will record voice directly while using a headset that uses 3.5mm jacks? It's the only available tool that I can use right now to record my voice, but I was hoping Camtasia worked with this kind of mic. So if anyone knows of a setting that needs to be changed or something to get my headset to work or another program, I would appreciate the feedback.

You can use a microphone like that with Camtasia, I used to use a headset with similar plugs. You just need to configure the mic on the computer first (install whatever drivers are necessary and make sure the microphone works), then in Camtasia you can go into the microphone options and choose that microphone from the drop down list.

I have tried everything I can think of but it just won't record my voice. Anyway not to worry, I just remember I have a USB Mic for the Wii that hardly ever gets used, so I'll try that. Thanks any way Will. |
