Hello I wonder if members have any experience with them and which one they would recommend. I have no programming experience but I am willing to put the effort into learning any of these.

H i- I user Ubot and can say it has helped me loads - All platforms have their bugs but Ubot does do a good job with getting them resolved - The support forum is also a good place to be with a tight community -

Using the tool is easy and much support is available - however zenno poster does have certain advantages over ubot -likewise Ubot has advantages over zennoposter in certain areas -

with ubot its easy to compile bots and share/sell them -

with zennoposter I dont think you can share your bots as you cant compile - Im not a zenno poster user myself but did do some research on it -

They work of a template system which you can share with other zennoposter users - however you are unable to have someone without zennoposter use your bots -

now for the advantage of zenno poster then the multi threading part is super cool - you have separate control for cookies and also proxies with each thread - Ubot can not do this -

also zeno poster is at a reduced price at the moment and I must say that I have read some great reviews all over the place -

Before you jump in - make a list of the things you want to be able to do with the application and then look deeper

I'm UBOT's user and now i'm testing ZP as well.. here's my short review/comparison:

- Learning Curve : UBOT
Ubot team create a very easy to learn UI, it really dead simple and easy to follow

ZP comes with 3 program, each has its own UI, lots of panel/icon, you need more hours (i took about a half day) to understand the UI

But do notes, UBOT's easy to use system could make an inconvinience experience as well.. as UBOT 3.5, it works with node.. the problem is you only be able to drag the node one by one (you can't copy/paste multiple node) if you want to rearrange/optimize your bot.. and that very time consuming if you have hundreds of node.. the only possible solution right now is use subs for every independent routine... that reduce the node to manage significantly.

- Manual and Documentation : UBOT
This could be because UBOT has been recognize since 2009 while ZP launch their english section in less than a year, so we could find a lot more tutorial and sample in youtube, blogs, etc.

- Price and Features : Zenno Poster
This is where UBOT fall, their 'easy to use' system comes with more limitation compare with ZP. You have to get the Professional level to get the most power for a profesional bot (it cost $495, especially when you do a lot of regex and scrape) while on other site EVEN ZP's lite version (at this time of writing is $49.. its 50% discount) can do more than Profesional version of UBOT.. they even have inbuilt Regex Editor (i consider it as lite Regex Buddy software.. )... the solution is more limitless compare with UBOT

- Community : UBOT
The mods and admin are very supportive, they sometimes even build us the bot sample if we get stuck... while at this time of writing, a simple question of mine hasn't been answered for 3 days at ZP's forum.. i think they need more human resource to help the community

- Commerciality/Delegation Process: UBOT
UBOT have capabilites to build .EXE which mean you can sell or delegate the bot to 3rd party (i even build a bot for my wife, to check our several of our family account from internet banking.. love automation !). On the otherside ZP's use template and you only can run 1 instance per license to do the posting. If you work yourself, that shouldn't be a problem... but if you like me you'll have problem with licenses


I really don't have suggestion to choose between ubot and zennoposter right now, UBOT is simple and fast creation, ZP is more powerfull @ reasonable price...

if you're on budget, you you'll get an awesome tools @$49 with the capabilites of $495... but you have to commit to study patiently...

while with $495.. you'll have a grear tools to play with.... easy to learn... fast creation..

If you are a noobie to this sort of thing uBot is easier but CERTAINLY has limitations if you're trying to do really advanced stuff. The over user friendliness of uBot also makes many tasks a lot more time consuming than they need to be once you master it.

If you have the time the learning curve on zenoposter is steep but you can literally do ANYTHING with it.

If you're trying to automate a repetitive task or do account creation, etc. uBot is fine. If you want to build a powerful tool with a lot of very advanced functions or dealing with very complex websites/platforms then zenoposter is for you.

Additionally uBot has predefined functions, granted they do get upgraded often with constant new releases. zenoposter allows you to create your own functions and basically teach your software which is another plus.

In the end it really comes down to what you intend to make a bot do.

I did the excersie of comparison between zennoposter and ubot months ago when i wanted to buy one of them.

Each one has advantages and disadvantage.

The Key point that made me go with Zennoposter, that it supports multithread while ubot not.

It took me a while to learn zennoposter, but once you started making templates you can't stop.
