Hi, I bought the SE Sniper prog on here a few weeks ago and now understand that in order for it to work, I need to use at least 100 working fresh proxies every day - ie each day has to be new ones. I subscribed to hidemyass.com and even if I plugged all their proxies (about 3000) into Elite Proxy Switcher IMMEDIATELY when I got them, not a single one worked. I got my money back, but Id rather have working proxies. Ive tried other websites, none work. I don't mind paying for this providing its not too much, since the reviews of SE Sniper seem like it will be worth it. I don't want to cancel it yet since without these proxies I cannot give it a fair test. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable source of working, anonymous proxies? That I can get emailed, or download, daily? They need to be level 1 or 2 Im led to believe. Thanks and best wishes, Clare :-) |

Hi Initial Effort, Thanks a lot for the reply :-) Do you mean proxygo123.com.ru? That site seems to extract proxies from websites. A bit confused how to do this. Is this what you mean? If so I'll try to figure it out!! proxygo.net has expired! Have a nice weekend :-) |

If you are using proxies consistently, why not download a program to do it for you? There is a program out there called Tor which you download and it automatically runs your packets through a bunch of proxies. http://www.torproject.org/ |

TOR works fine, but I remeber you will have to manuall change the proxy each time. and sometimes, it is really slow.

Hi everyone, If you are getting bad results with proxies make sure you do this first. When you open Elite proxy Switcher you will see some icons on the top. You will see a blue cog next to the i symbol. Click on the blue cog and it will take you to the settings. next hit default and ok. You will notice a drastic difference when you do this. If this does not work then go to the EPS forum and search for patch. see in my sig click on it and send me an email pls. you can test them for free up till the 17th feb Please note: In order for the proxy software to work correctly you need to change the settings which gives you more threads which in turn gives you a true reading of the proxies. Example if you do not either use the patch or change the settings you will find that the majority of proxies will be dead and you will only get a handfull of L1 and L2 the rest will be L3 or dead. Once you either download the patch or change the settings in EPS you will see a major improvement. After doing one of the above I went from 20 L2 and 10 L1 to 300 L1 and 400 L2. Then I narrowed them down to 1500ms and ended up with approx 400 - 500 L1 & L2 Hope this helps All the Best Nev |

Hey Nev thanks a lot for the reply I clicked on your proxy link and it came right up with your email - awesome - for once not a sell page LOL - so please check your email I would love to try that out. Thanks everyone for replying :-) By the way - can anyone explain to me if I need proxies in order to hide my IP when I want to view CPA offers that are NOT from the UK.... because sometimes I get blocked... I know you can type some code into google - just wondering if anyone actually uses proxies for surfing the net and why/why not?? Sorry if this is a basic question but Im still learning here :-) Have a great weekend everyone :-) This forum is AWESOME!!! Can't wait until I can really help people as much as you guys have helped me so far :-) Thank you all :-) |

With TOR, you can usually just set the proxy to 127.0.0.1:8118 and it works fine. It will be slow, however. I use a program called ProxyFinder that I bought somewhere for about $27 or so. I bought it from somebody at another forum that I apparently cannot mention here. Runs all the time and updates proxies every five minutes. Tests them, too. |

Hi Everyone, Something else to note: If you stop using Se Sniper after a week or so you will notice over a week a drastic change unless you are getting natural traffic your sites you use with the software will drop. I actually tested it so I know this is fact in my case. Always happy to help Clare & I agree this is one awesome forum. All The Best Nev |

I very recently installed the Firefox AddOn FoxyProxy but I haven't had time to try it out yet - I'm totally new to Proxies so it may not even be what I need! I thought I should mention it though as there are so many Firefox users around. John O'York |

I thought I've give Nev a bit of support! I'd just like to say that I subscribe to Nev's proxy service. So convenient to have them sent twice a day! I'm never short of good fast proxies and sometimes if I'm lazy I just re-run whatever proxies are in Elite Proxy Switcher from the last time - whether it's the day before or 3 days before. I always get hundreds of level 1 proxies regardless of the age of the file. I don't know too much about proxies - but that seems like pretty good news to me. I use these in Sick Submitter mainly and a couple of plugins that need them when I'm working (Amazon seems a bit fussy about lots of queries for making some posts for example) and generally I just grab the first 200 level 1's because I'm too impatient to wait for EPS to finish. the odd time I've let it run through the whole file I've got thousands of goodies. Just thought I'd add my bit. for $10 a month, delivered twice a day it's a no brainer for me and a BARGAIN !!!!!!! |
