Hi,

We're about to publish a site that shows a detailed comparison of the very best web hosts around. I just want to make sure we have got all of the best ones covered, so could I please have your nominations for the best hosts and the reason why?

Thanks Allen

    My personal pick is Bluehost.

I've been with them for a couple years now and haven't had any problems (aside from my personal missteps). The cost is reasonable, I prefer their cPanel options over Host Gator's, domain prices tend to be cheaper than goDaddy and their support is excellent.

I've used ITVGroup.com and D9 Hosting; both are great options and affordable. If you really would rather not deal with configuring settings, then ITVGroup.com is the best option.

      Peace,

I've using a little know one that has worked out great for me and only cost 2.99 a month. Has the Cpanel and Fantastico Deluxe and I can add unimited domains and email addys which comes in handy for World press. If it's allowed I can put the name or link here but being new I don't want to break any rules.

Go ahead and put the name of the host you are talking about, there is no issue. Let others also benefit from your find if they choose to.

I'd recommend "HostGator" for your Web Hosting because it's very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome.

P.S. If you can wait, their Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) offer is amazing. My monthly hosting is only $4.95 a month due to that.

I agree with most of the comments that Blue Host is excellent -- but I have also found that Host Monster is equally good. I've had experience with both companies and can highly recommend.

Hi, I've tried or looked into several hosting sites, Host Monster and Name Cheap are two. Name Cheap is ok for domain registration; I didn't like Host Monster very much. I finally picked BlueHost. Their prices are comparable; their service is tremendous. You can have as many domains as you want, including addon domains. I have (I think 2 or 3 main domains) with a whole bunch of addon domains - I am not as good at keeping records in my head, at least. All the addon domains have a Cpanel; they are easy to edit; you can FTP stuff by logging into the main domain and then the folder with addon. The addons are put in the public_html folder. All in all I really like this hosting company and highly recommend it. One more thing; you can install WordPress with Simple Scripts. I think this is a little easier than Fantastico.

http://www.biologyofpain.com ( this is an addon domain but you can't tell the difference; at least I don't think you can.

What's the difference? Both brands are provided by the same company.

    Hostgator.

They have a free 24/7 support chat service, which adds value to their service. Also, its $0.01 for your first month.

If you want the best for VPS or dedicated servers you need Servint. I have used them for years and tested them over and over. Incredible tech support. Business friendly. A+. You cannot go wrong. Also Liquidweb is very very good for VPS or Dedicated.
