If you need to learn about SEO so that you can boost your websites ranking then Wild SEO does help. If however you have an understanding of SEO, if you know how it works, if you know what you should be doing, then don't bother buying Wild SEO. Just start implementing what you know! I feel that Wild SEO is a guide designed solely for those that are new to the whole search engine optimisation thing. It does contain a whole load of useful info regarding SEO, but this is only going to benefit you if you don't know anything about it AND if you need to learn about SEO fast. For those that need to learn SEO, it is recommended. For those that don't need to learn it (this means those that already know about SEO and those that will simply get someone else to build their websites and deal with their promotions for them) then you won't need it. I found it to contain nothing revolutionary. You won't find any ground-breaking techniques that you can use to ensure you reach the top of the search engines. All you'll get are the facts regarding SEO. If you don't know anything about SEO and you need to learn, by all means check this out. If however you know enough about SEO, you won't find anything new in this guide. Just start implementing what you know. SEO is a simple game as long as you know what you are doing. I hope this helped to answer your question. Mark

Hi, I purchased the book today and must admit to being disappointed. The sales letter is brilliant but as Mark says above, the information is basic. Type Free SEO Information into Google and quite a few choices come up with sound info, and it is, of course, free! Kindest regards Veronica |

If the Wild SEO is for a beginner, why the sales letter show some proof about certain very competitive keywords like "make money online" and so on? Do they really own that website? This is such a high claim. Whatever it is, Mark, thank you so much for your review. I just save myself from spending another $49.99. |

The Wild SEO book is only recommended reading for those of you that have no grasp of search engine optimization at all. For those that have a grasp of how to adopt your own SEO strategy for your websites’ success then you might not need to purchase Wild SEO. You can check the Ben Cooper and Chris Wilson’s book on Wild SEO. |

I was offered a chance to promote it, but I passed. It's pretty much an overview of SEO that might be suitable for newbies, but I didn't see a lot of info that was revolutionary. And the upsell consisted of mostly recycled products. Good at the price for newbies; all others should probably pass. Charlie |

About WildSEO - First of all I'm baffled as to why they're bragging about ranking #1 in Yahoo for "make money in home" which according to the Google Keyword Tool has extremely low search volume - 880 searches per month on a broad match and 58 searches per month on exact match when I checked. Hardly anything to write home about. Now their ranking for "make money online" is impressive, but it would be nice to know how long they held that ranking. I've ranked #2 for "work at home jobs" - but not for long. Certainly I could have taken a screenshot when I ranked. I just went through 5 pages of Yahoo results for "make money online" and didn't see their example site once - however, I know that rankings can disappear and come back so take that with a grain of salt. By the way, you can get a great FREE SEO guide at Dan Thies' Seofaststart.com |

I don't have the product so can;t comment on the OP question, BUT I will say that is one of the better sales letters I have read in a long time. There's some good swipe material there if you're a copywriter, imo. ______ Bruce |

Actually, when I put those keywords in google and yahoo, those listings were nowhere to be found. When I used the wayback machine on the site mentioned in the sales page.....well, let's just say it has gone through a lot of changes. It is currently a 4 page website. I passed as well, even with the reduced rates offered when you click away.

LostBallinHighWeeds.com has done a review of this. I don't want to speak for him, but its probably safe to say he didn't like it Wild SEO at all. Anyway, save your money and look at SEO book or some other free info. |

This is another example of masterful copywriting to push an otherwise mediocre product. To be honest, a lot of IM products that are out there are pushed that way. And some product owners actually spend a ton of money on sales pages (because it is what converts a visitor) and not on the actual product. It's all about marketing the story. So why include rankings and Clickbank sales? This is a necessary component of a sales page, they needed this to build credibility and as a proof statement. While this product may get a number of refunds, the information presented however basic for most of us here, would be useful to absolute newbies who want to learn SEO, and while they may learn tricks to get rankings, they will likely be disappointed in the sales aspect and wonder why they are not making any money. |

I must be in the minority. I thought the sales page was really poor. Do people buy products based on a stupid story. I really don't get how people are sucked into these sales pages. I find them pretty annoying (the story about them and the stripper, come on !!). Maybe I have just read too many and underestimate the amount of stupid people out there. |

if you turn down the OTO, it gets discounted. Turn this one down, then it gets discounted again (to just $7) Turn this one down, and then you get "upgraded" for free...! Is it just me, or does this kind of thing really get your goat? Give the option of a lower price for a "lite" version of the product, yes. But don't sell the SAME THING for almost a TENTH of the original asking price. Or worse GIVE IT AWAY for FREE. Grrr....

what every yo say about the sales letter (or the product) cant deny the gravity from clickbank: 226.44 must be selling....and maybe refunding quick....some of those claims - 1500 in first day.....pure web copy hype.... If you gonna make the big claims- better be able to back them up............ |

I agree with all reviews - NOTHING NEW!! Save your money! It was really a very mediocre book even for the basics of SEO! SEObook.com has a free option with really amazing content, and Charlesheflin.com (also SEO2020.com) also has a ton of great free SEO info. And of course- there is always the WF. As to the Clickbank stats - certainly possible considering the people recommending it - but I am also willing to bet the refunds rates are high too It's another one of those launches that makes you wonder of anyone recommending it actually read the book? I bought it at $17. Got it refunded at the same price too. Am I the only one who has been called repeatedly by someone claiming to be from Wild SEO about some "business opportunity" they want me to be part of? Serves me right for giving them my real phone number. I never do that! Lol |

Yes, but at what cost? I left more than one list after being hit with not one, not two, but three and four pitches for it. As I said in my post above, a little simple research on what was in that "fine" sales page revealed a much different story than what was being portrayed. I can understand needing money and all; but why would you pepper your list with crappy products? I didn't find the copy effective or compelling, myself....but then, I'm not a fantasy hungry basement dweller (no offense!)

Just keep in mind that some people really do benefit from the most basic information. Wild SEO is a good buy for anyone that doesn't know anything about SEO. Is it the best product of it's kind? No But, if you need entry level info on SEO... it's worth the money. |

I personally don't know if this product is good or bad. I simply have a problem with any sales page that is easily shown to contain important factual....umm....inconsistencies, shall we say? And, in this case, I am not talking about the cheery little fable that was spun. I am talking about the screenshots that were shown and the history of the domain itself. A little research showed them to be......poppycock. Add to that the rapidly decreasing price for the SAME product every time you click away......well, that just doesn't lend itself to credibility. I think I would be more than a little peeved if I bought that thing at full price, just to find out it was being pimped out for free, in desperation, just to get an email address. I think if they were going to do that, they just should have given it away in the first place. They would still end up with the lead, and they would not have compromised their reputation. My real question was to the people that mailed to their lists on this product----did you know the whole situation when you mailed? and mailed? and mailed? |

I bought it cos of mention in the salesletter about getting indexed quickly in the big 3. Google and Yahoo, no problem. Getting indexed quickly by MSN tho' had to be worth a look. And guess what? No such luck - hehe. They give some terrible advice on how to get ranked in Google and that's it. Save some money and get SEO Fast Start: Free SEO Book & Help from Dan Thies for free |

Refunded here too...& pretty quickly at that. Similar to Bobru, I unsubscribed from every person that emailed me trying to push it. Not so much for the product itself, but because they are promoting something that IMO are very low "tactics" used in the sign-up process which has already been mentioned here.

I don't recommend Wild SEO. I got a review copy before it launched and decided not to promote it. If they put as much effort and creativity into the product as they did the sales page then it would be worth it. Amitywill |

Then... promo after promo is mailed out and these buying-happy folks just snap them up time and again. This is not the way I treat my list - pretty much the complete opposite in fact - but that's probably why I'm not a "guru"

I too, like some have mentioned, is the sales letter, put it in your swipe file, to follow somewhat. For the seasoned marketer the stripper story is kind of hokey. But internet marketing is kind of a hokeyness business. We got graphics with money falling from the heavens, $100 bills flying out of product boxes, videos with hands shuffling stacks of money, million dollar homes in backgrounds, fast, fancy cars. The products we promote have to deliver! In fact that's a pretty good SEO lesson right there, is keeping it real. |

Hi, I purchased wildseo and was very dissapointed with the product as a whole, for one the bonus items drove me mad and when i did eventually get the product downloaded, it was just a re-hash of what is available for free in most cases, in my humble opinion of course. sorry to dissapoint ![]() shukes |

Yes, I tried it and I was also very dissapointed in the product as a whole, not to mention the multiple offers that come your way on the welcome pages. I also took a look at the refund rates availble , and they show that the rest of the world thought the dame as me, as it was running at 47% refunds - wow! Peter |
