Default Re: Thoughts on Clickbump SEO?

I went ahead and took the plunge on the bundle last night. Looks like a pretty sweet setup. I'll be going through it more today to get a handle on it before I put up my first site. I've already installed the plugin on an older site and modified some of the posts according to the SEO recommendations.

The one concern I have is in regards to keyword density. If plugins like SEOPressor are recommending keyword density in the neighborhood of 2%, doesn't that result in a post that looks a bit keyword stuffed? I mean, it's ok if you have a one word keyword like "widgetx", but if you have a phrase like "how to become a golf instructor", doesn't that end up looking un-natural. Curious to know what others are doing in these types of situations.

Thanks,
S.

Its a good point Steve and although I do use keyword density as a scoring metric for the post, in reality its less of a factor than perhaps any other metric I'm measuring against, particularly when compared to the post title and post headings.

In the next SEO! update, I'm considering lowering the keyword density ranges as well as adjusting the SEO! scoring algorithm to skew even more weight to post title, headings and url and even less on kwd.

The current acceptable range is between 2-6%, and I usually stay on the low side of that to ensure adequate readability.

I've got a recent blog post where, in the article postscript, I discuss this very challenge > WordPress Custom Menus*|*clickbump.com

Just wanted to pop in and say that although I haven't had time to play with it as much as I would like (hubby decided to scare the you-know-what out of me health-wise for a couple of weeks, but he is ok now!) I am loving it and bought the whole package - including the dev upgrade.

Easy to use, clean code - but the best part? Seeing Scott here on a regular basis answering questions without trying to do a major sales pitch on you at the same time.

I am so tired of buying products that never get supported, that this is a breath of fresh air, and did not hesitate to make the 'big' purchase when I saw how well Scott supported it.

Kudos - I'll be life time customer for this and anything else you produce - support is EVERYTHING!!!

Scott,

Just wanted to drop in and say ClickBump is rocking it!

I purchased ClickBump on 2/23 after reading the rave reviews here. On 2/24, I did my keyword research (Samurai), purchased a domain, installed Wordpress and ClickBump and CE4. Over the next two weeks, I created around five pages of content - some of it I wrote and some of it I used Fiverr.

Whenever I posted any content I used ClickBump SEO to guide me and I always made sure I reached the 100% SEO goal.

Today, (3/10) I am happy to report I just appeared on page one of Google in the #10 position and have received three clicks today for my main keyword phrase.

I've attached a screenshot of my Market Samurai SEO Competition results. My site is outlined with the red box. Notice how my site is the ONLY one with my keyword in the title, url, description, and heading. I have no doubt I will continue to move up the search results.

Now, to be fair and honest, I did do a bit of backlinking that probably helped my site. But I am thoroughly convinced that ClickBump SEO played a HUGE role in achieving these results.

Thank you for a great product that works as advertised.

Randal

Hello,

First congratulation and I am so close to press the Buy button. However someone brought in my attention the DYI Themes - to be honest I am not happy with this last minute to stop my decision but ...

Seems to be the same marketing idea. Anyone know the major differences between these two WP Engines ?

Thank you very much in advance.

( sorry Scott but you know how is when you go shopping )

Hi Scott..

I just purchased the seo plugin, and in the process of working on my site to see if it will push up to number #1 sometime soon.

I'm loving this plugin so far!

Can you offer any backlinking strategies, tips or even software that you would recommend?

Thanks so much..

That's pretty cool. For someone to tell me I'm making SEO fun :-)

I should have called it something like "Fun SEO!"

Actually, the working title was RockSEO! Thanks to my longtime customer Sara Barrett's inspiration. My functions are still prefixed with rseo_ even today.

And when you score a 90% or above on a post, well, I won't spoil it for those who haven't hit the mark yet.

I went after Scott's SEO package about a month ago. I decided to by his complete ClickBump Bundle with the SEO, JumpStart, and ClickBump Engine at a reduced price for the bundle.

All of these have worked with ease during the install and operation. The SEO add on for checking your post/ articles as you are writing them is a real benefit as a double checker to meet all of the best standards for readability and SEO.

JumpStart sure does save time getting sites up and running with the proper first pages and post to make the site compliant for Google and the fed's.

Before this I was paying a monthly fee over and over again. I did not like the idea that if my work did not require article writing I was still paying, but would lose my ### of uses at the end of each month. Money gone!

Scott has provided all the help and support I have ever needed very fast and now has a forum setup that does even more with advice from other ClickBump users.

Well spent money, and the software is still growing with even more benefits. I am a happy camper.

Scott's done it again! He's added another high quality product to his stable of products that help IMers make more money with even less effort!

His latest addition is this WP plugin that he calls SEO! I've used several of the products on the market and without a doubt, this one blows them all away on all fronts.

1. It's A Snap To Install

No lengthy set up process. Ready for use as soon as it's installed and activated.

2. Easy To Understand Scoring System

Doesn't get any easier than this. Simply write your article and find out how it rates SEO wise based on a 100 point scale. Write a few articles and you'll soon find that you are writing highly SEO'd articles as you write because you'll already know what the scoring system is looking for.

3. LSI Keywords Included

When I first installed Clickbump SEO!, I failed to read any of the documentation and didn't realize that it had an LSI component. This is a fantastic component because it saves you a ton of time and by including these keywords in your article, you will really have a really fine tuned article. There are other programs that you can buy for many times what Scott's plugin costs, but they are no longer needed!

4. NO Monthly Costs

IM'ers are no longer stuck paying a huge one time or recurring monthly costs in order to produce high quality, fully SEO'd articles.

As if these points weren't enough, Scott goes out of his way to provide top notch support. You drop him an email and he's back in touch with you in minutes most of the time. It's like the guy doesn't sleep because I've gotten replies back in the middle of the night before!

But now, he's taken support one step further! He's now offering all of his Clickbump Engine as well as his Clickbump SEO! customers FREE access to his newly opened forum. Sure, some owners of other products do this as well, but there are a fair number that will charge you for full access to their forums. Not Scott. It's a significant resource because he seems to attract high quality customers that are more than willing to help out in the forum. If you remember the old XFactor forum, you'll likely remember how high quality the posts were there. I learned a ton from that forum and have already picked up a number of great ideas in Scott's forum, and it's only a week old.

On the communications front, you don't have to worry about getting an worthless email a day from him like you do with so many other people in the biz. Nope, he doesn't email you about the latest product to buy. Sure, he knows how to market affiliate products, but he does so in a way that is unobtrusive - like a link or two in his blog now and again. If you get an email from Scott, it's about an update to a product of his that you own, or about a new product he's just started offering. His blog as been super informative as he takes the time to give you step by step instructions on how to not only use components of his products, but other products that compliment his as well. My hunch is that much of this type of communication will be moved to his forum.

He's also on Twitter. Follow him and you'll always be up to date with whats going on in the Clickbump universe. And don't worry about getting tweets every 10 minutes from him about other products or info. about the IM biz. He's too busy working on his next product or supporting the ones he already has to be playing around on Twitter all day. He tweets much like he emails - only the most relevant of information comes from him.

If you build sites to flip, you'll also love the fact that Scott has a very reasonable Developer's package available. This is another great thing about the way he does business. Rather than gouge people by charging huge bucks for his products, he goes out of his way to keep his pricing reasonable, while remaining hands on. The hands on component of his business practices is likely the most important. There are so many people that make a product and six months later they are nowhere to be seen. Not Scott. I've known and been doing business with him for over a year now and he's always been the same - always willing to help while continuing to build his business by providing new an innovative products.

Speaking of new and innovative products, he's got a new one coming out that is going to be a huge benefit to those of us who are involved in local business consulting. Based on what I've seen so far, this product is going to blow away anything he's done in the past. And that's saying a lot! Imagine the money that will be rolling in when you have the ability to build a Clickbump based site in minutes! Add in the SEO! plugin and you'll have all the local businesses coming to you to do their work after they start seeing where they are in the search engines!

Bottom line is this. If you are considering buying Scott's Clickbump Engine, his SEO! product - or better yet, the bundle - DO IT. You won't be sorry. They are top quality products, developed by a top quality guy. One that actually cares about his customers and will be around to ensure you get the most out of his products for a long time to come.

Since I've been on the WF, I think I've written maybe two other testimonials. Bought a LOT of products, but Scott's are amongst the very few that I've felt I've truly gotten my money's worth out of. In Scott's case, it's a continual case of over delivery.

Warren

Couldn't agree more with all that. Here's my short 2 cents:

If you've read any of my own threads, you know that I'm all about systems - employing systems to make every aspect and process of my business model as streamlined, efficient, and effective as possible. Basically, Scott's stuff has probably contributed more than anything else to expediting and streamlining my processes and systems. I know that's a bit abstract, but the point is: If you're on the fence, just do it, like the previous post says. Most people forget about the fact that the bundle or any aspect thereof (Clickbump, Jumpstart, SEO!) will easily pay for itself in no time at all, what with the time and effort you'll be saving, as well as higher (much higher) CTR's, higher, quicker rankings in the SERPs, and a stronger SEO foundation, to name a few. Scott's products are directly responsible for literally supercharging my income. You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. By not having Scott's bundle, you are literally missing out on untapped income that is there waiting for you in the form of higher SERP gains and much higher CTR's. The time and effort saved alone is worth the tiny price tag.

Hi there, yes the Beta will always be a newer release than the current shipping "non beta" release.

The current release is 3.0 and the current "Beta" release is 3.1 beta.

Peter, you did a great job on the review. My complements to you and the video, despite your internet connection problems was very well done.

I like your review style. Very unbiased and straight forward and you presented all the facts in an easy to understand sort of way.

I'd be honored to have you review any of my products and especially the upcoming BizLocal package. If you are interested in taking a peek at the pre-release beta, just give me a shout.

I picked up the plugin right about a month ago, and even wanted clickbump to do a webinar for my list...then got caught up with some other stuff.

The plugin is now MANDATORY for us on any blog where we have outsourced people or employees adding content...MANDATORY. In the past, it wasn't uncommon for us to have to go back and make sure that images were tagged right or that the keywords were in the right place - not so since the plugin has been installed.

Hi Warriors. Because people are asking for feedback on ClickBump I thought I would give my expierence with this product. Based on a review I saw I recently purchased ClickBump SEO. While it seems to be a good concept the plugin is not fully functional. I have the latest version of WordPress and ClickBump. ClickBump isn't able to see that I have my keyword in my first and last sentence of my posts. It says I should add the keyword to the first and last sentences even though it is already there. It is also unable to recognize H2 and H3 tags which are in the post. It can't see that the keyword is in bold either.

I also purchased WP SEO Beast from another Warrior, it does similar SEO recommendations, and it is able to see that I have my keyword in the first and last sentence and recognizes the H2 and H3 tags and the bold keyword text with no problem.

I uninstalled ClickBump and downloaded the latest version again from their web site and it still can't see H tags or recognize that my key words are in the first and last sentences. If the plugin is unable to do what it is supposed to do I don't see how it is helpful. I like it because it does some things other SEO plugins don't do but am not sure I want to keep it if a fix for this isn't in the works.

Perhaps the worst thing is the "customer service". I sent an email to their customer service on 4-16-11 and never got a response. Because of that situation I sent Scott a private message here on the Warrior Forum over 32 hours ago. Again, no response.

To be fair, he may be on vacation or something. It would seem that some customer service mechanism would be in place, however.

I will be requesting a refund if their customer service continues to be unresponsive. On the positive side he gives you 60 days to be sure you are happy with the plugin.

Sorry to hear about this. I saw you mentioned another tool for on-page SEO. Have you tried BloggerHigh SEO?

Keen to get something more affordable and still does the job.

Cheers

Thanks. I haven't tried BloggerHigh. WP SEO Beast is rather inexpensive and I have had no problems with it so far. It needs some features added but the developer said he will be adding features to it going forward. He is also open to suggestions for new features.

Good luck finding the right SOE option.

Wow, I'm surprised you're having these issues with Clickbump. I haven't experienced any problems with it recognizing first or last sentences or any H tags. I'm not saying you're wrong or doing anything incorrectly, I just haven't seen them myself.

It's also surprising you haven't gotten a response from Scott because he is usually on top of things. As you mentioned, he may be away or tied up with something.

Anyway, I hope you get things straightened out. Best wishes.

I am not having those issues with Clickbump recognizing my H tags on any of my sites, so I am surprised.

If you want an answer to any issue go to the Clickbump forum. I have found a response under 24 hours for all my questions.

Hey Warriors,

I'm interested in the Clickbump themes and am wondering if any of you have used them in Mike Johnson's "Auto Blog Blueprint"? If so, did they mesh well...?

Thanks

Thanks. If they would answer support requests it would be nice. WP SEO Beast is on the same domains as ClickBump with no problems.

Thanks. I'll try that, as it seems to be the only possibility of support from ClickBump.

Heard from Scott today on Warrior Forum private message. He said they are working on the issue I have as it shows up now and then. I will hang in there and see if a fix/path comes out for my issue.

Thanks for the reply Scott.

Not a problem. Thanks for updating your post.

The clickbump users forum is the best place to go for product support. Because of the success of my products, I get hundreds of emails. Sometimes I miss one or two and I'm working to move all support requests to the forum.

If you are a customer of mine for any time at all, you know that I take care of my customers and I take pride in supporting them. I can assure you if you are a customer of mine, you will be well cared for.

Hi Scott,

I just purchased a new WSO and another of your products is highly recommended in this WSO. I know you are respected in the IM industry and can certainly see that you care about your customers. I got your personal message, which I thank you for, and I am sending you the info you requested.

Thanks so much,

John

Hi Scott,

You were very kind to take time out of your Easter day to personally install the latest ClickBump SEO 3.2 Beta version on my blog, and it resolved my issues. Everything works great now. This will help me tune up my on-page SEO moving forward. Thanks SO much. You have gone way above and beyond the call of duty to help me and I truly appreciate it.

Thanks,

John

John, I appreciate your kind words, but I did let you down with support. It was inadvertent but never the less, you had reason to be concerned from not hearing a response. I do appreciate you taking the time to reach me after I missed your email, by sending a PM here.

To anyone reading this and considering purchasing any of my products, I want you to know that my support is as good as my word and name. I value it above all else.

And I want you to know that the absolute best resource for ClickBump Support, is the clickbump user forums where I post answers to every day. Myself and other clickbump senior members respond personally to every thread there.

Because of the volume of email I receive, everything from scam reports of people trading on my name and products, to JV offers to everything in between, I'm no longer using email as a support resource. The forums are numero uno and work remarkably well.

The cool thing is that they also serve as a knowledge base and already contain a wealth of valuable information that in many cases answer the question before its asked.

Just a heads up here for anyone who has purchased or is considering a purchase of SEO! I've just released version 3.2.1 to the member's dashboard.

It contains a nifty feature that I'm guessing will be wildly popular and widely imitated :-)

Here's a snapshot of the new LSI keyword highlighting function in SEO! 3.2.1

I have just purchased the clickbump plugin, so far I like it but it keep saying that I don't got the h1, h2, h3 tags, how do I add them? And can anyone please also advise how to add the h1, h2 tags to wordpress main page? I'm new to it, thanks.

In your dashboard where you can add a post, click on HTML and type this
<h1>"header info"</h1>... if I want my header to state SEO Expert... I will type <h1>SEO Expert</h1>. You do the same for h2 and so on.

Hi Smolodoy, if you don't see the "Format" pulldown menu in the editor toolbar across the top, you need to click on the "kitchen sink" icon which sits to the far right side of he editor toolbar. Once you have that, just select the text containing your keyword phrase and then click on one of the "H" level headings in the "Format" pulldown menu.

I think I ought to mention, when you refer to not hearing from support. Scott is the support. You get responses directly from him and not a support person. That may change at some point because the popularity and scope of his products continue to increase. New themes come out regularly like the new LocalBiz ones. Yes, there will be the occasional bug, but he is willing to go the extra mile to work them out. On his forum (which is great) he regularly goes into his customers sites and personally fixes problems.
I am so non techie, that he has helped me numerous times, and has always been patient. He also is willing to take suggestions for new themes. When a couple of people mentioned a theme for restaurants and showed some examples, he had new themes within a couple of weeks.
The forum has been a great exchange place for customers and Scott to interact.
Like others, it is so refreshing to get products that aren't over hyped and deliver.
