  • I have one on staff that I can't give out but I'm just wondering since you named all those WF users in your OP: why not use them again? After all, the "besides" indicates that they are "high quality premium article writers", so what's the deal? Looking for a cheaper alternative at the same quality?

You missed out a whole load here my friend.

Where's Bill Platt, where's Steven Wagenheim?

Mate, you've missed out a lot of top people, I'm not even going to get started but I do agree with your initial team.

    Dam good writers.

Take a look around the WF and you'll find plenty. (Myself included) One of the biggest problem you'll find though, is many of those you have listed, do not write for others. I currently have a WSO with one space left if interested, but I am not the cheapest writer around.

    Best of luck,
    Sylvia

I have to say, I've not used Sylvia but I have heard some very good things, very good.

Here is a very, very talented Warrior and one that is actually available.

I was going to sneak this away but feel a nice urge and will leave it to others.

      Be quick though.

Alexa doesn't write articles for anyone at the moment, sorry. I bet those others can write about men's health and bodybuilding, though.

      That.

But then, I'd probably bid the bank to have it.

      Literally, the whole bank.

We'll just have to wait for guidance on how to do it so well. :p:rolleyes:

Interesting. I'm getting a quote of $150-$200 per article from those I contacted it.

But I also posted on Craigslist New York and I got a reply from a writer who wrote articles for The New York Times. His rate was $25-$50.

What does $200 get me? SEO'd articles? Ezine-magnet articles?

(They're a "small point", by comparison with the real long-term value, but the backlinks alone can be worth it: one context-relevant, higher-PR backlink from a decent site is worth thousands - some would say "tens of thousands" - of non-context-relevant, PR-0, article directory backlinks.)

That's where the real money is, in article marketing, and I'd certainly trust those named above to be able to do this more than I'd trust someone who wrote articles for the New York Times: it's a whole different skill-set.

Absolutely. The link from a high-authority website is only a minor benefit.

The most important thing to expect from high-caliber writers is the ability to create content that can find publication on high traffic websites and in large mailing list / newsletters.

If the article is written well and successfully carries the reader to the resource box, and the resource box is written to drive targeted traffic to your website and your offer, you can literally expect to generate sales in the 4- to 5-figures from the placement of one article in one location, in a lot of cases.

I have written many articles that generated sales in the five-figures. My single best-performing article generated $38,000 in revenue in its first three days, after it was published in a major newsletter.

After the article is written, it should be properly syndicated to the publishers most likely to publish the article.

The most expensive article syndication service I know about is the one run by Eric Gruber. Even though I have done article syndication for more than a decade, Gruber takes syndication to whole new levels. He will contact publishers by phone in an effort to get them to publish your article. Article Syndication at his level of service will cost $500.

At my level of article syndication, the cost is $35 an article.

You should try to start with great content designed to accomplish your specific goals, but great content that is not properly syndicated will fall short of its real potential.

p.s. I am not available to the public as a ghost writer at this time, and I don't expect to ever return to that profession, as I prefer to write for myself these days.

If you found a real journalist who will do the work for those rates and you're happy with his style, why are you still looking?

And I don't know who you contacted, but I know I didn't quote $150-200 per article. And while some on the list do charge more than I do, most of the ones that have been suggested to you in this thread are in the same range as your journalist applicant.

Perhaps you should tell us what exactly are you looking for - a better rate? Faster turnaround (I know most of us book in advance)?
