Hey Terry, it really depends on what you need the tool for. If it's for finding keywords that you can easily rank in Google, keywords that will get you lots of traffic and more sales, then...

    Brad Callen's Niche Finder :-P

Grab a copy of NF and those other tools and compare them. If you like the others better, I'll refund you and paypal you a couple bucks for your trouble.

I think there is a huge thread on this - but Market Samuri gets rave reviews (i own it and can confirm!). Hear a lot of good things about Micro Niche Finder and of course, for free, Google has tons of built in search tools.

I've just begun putting Brad's Niche Finder through some testing, and I'm extremely impressed.

I work with all of the serious tools out there since keyword research is at the core of most everything I do online, not to mention the crux of my "Adsense $100k Blueprint" course.

One of 'toughest' tasks is, as Brad mentions, finding keywords that have traffic, and that you can rank for. Really, that's the 'name of the game' for much of Internet marketing: if you can find these, you can make a lot of money.

Many of us have our own methods - going through various steps with various tools, often using more than one tool, and even jumping between them - in order to uncover these money-makers.

What I've found with Brad's Niche Finder is almost the 'answer to my dreams' - one tool that get's right to the heart of the matter, uncovering these money-making keywords, and doing it really, really fast, without a lot of the waiting & overhead I'm used to.

I spent some time "back-testing" NF - plugging in keywords that I'd already researched and knew in terms of their difficulty & profitability, to see how 'accurate' NF was in grading them. I can say that almost without exception, it gave me scores equivalent to my own real-world, direct experiences, and did it fast. Better still, in the process of my "back-testing", I ended up with a bunch of additional keywords to pursue.

I used to be of the "more is better" school in terms of keyword research, wanting to get as much information as possible. The reason is that I didn't trust the programs out there. For instance, I'm a heavy Micro Niche Finder user, but anyone who's spent some time with it quickly realizes that it's grading - the 'Red, Yellow, Green' SOC grades - just aren't reliable, and in fact often lead you down the wrong path, telling you a good keyword is 'too hard', or an 'easy' one really isn't.

The more I play with Niche Finder, the more comfortable I am that they got it "right" in terms of calculating the value of the keywords it finds. And THAT is worth it's weight in gold!

Hi CB Jack, have you used our new Niche Finder software? If not, I would be happy to give you a nice deal on a copy and I'm very very confident you would change your opinion. If it's finding profitable keywords that you're looking for.

      Brad
P.S. Niche Finder's search counts and cpc data come directly from the google adwords keyword tool, so you're getting true search counts PLUS the competition data that Niche Finder provides.

No one questions the quality of Market Samurai - but it really isn't newbie friendly and has a steep learning curve. I used the trial version, whilst i admit it was great - it took too long to figure out how to use, and it ahs alotta other features which can confuse.

I don't have Niche Finder (yet) - but from what i've seen in the sales video, it seems to be newbie friendly and does exactly what it says - find you profitable keywords and nothing more. You could be up and running in a matter of minutes - which is what most newbies or even more experienced marketers would want me thinks.

It doesn't give tell you how easy it is to rank for a particular keyword. It only gives you search based results and you're left to do all the hard pain in the ass work. All these various software shave off hours of hard work - so you can get on with the most important stuff, which is monetizing the keywords.
