    I think Stephen Hawkins of SEO Link Robot gave away a similar software for free (ping and meta indexing).

    I watched the video but I don't think you get anchor text backlinks, just the url. Not sure though?

    I've had mxed results with these types of strategies to get indexed. I either get indexed very quickly or I get sandboxed. I steer clear these days just in case. You can't beat a few social bookmarks, adding your RSS feed to feedburner and pinging the lot. Gets indexed safely and reliably within 24 hours time and time again.
