Hello, Amazon SES seems to be a possible game changer. With Autoresponse Plus and other responders supporting SES is there anyreson to continue with hosted autoresponder other than they can be really fancy? Anyone care to comment on this and give their $.02? |

I think they completely eliminate need for 3rd party hosted AR's. And one can now confidently host their own AR on their own server and use 3rd Party SMTP like Amazon's SES or... SMTP.com. I use SMTP.com for SMTP. And their delivery rate is unbelievably top rate. Due to excellent IP reputation across ISPs. Infact I couldn't get a single test email in junk box of a new hotmail/aol account (the 2 services that are super strict and infamous for putting everything into Junk). I'm awaiting ARP4 to come out which supports 3rd party SMTP. |
