You say traffic could dramatically increase in the first month. I know it would depend on the keyword etc but could you give me some indication on what you would consider a bare minimum submission? I.e. is it 2 articles and 1 video a week for 4 weeks or what? As I have a full time job (at the moment) I have found the system a little clunky to use but this isn't a slur on TK as it is definitely down to user error. So if you could give me a target then it would really help. Cheers

Will check this out. The $1 trial for 14days should be enough to test

A question: can I use English articles and non-English keywords for anchor text? They would blend nicely, for example "companies like non-English keyword offer a broad range of services..." Thank you. |

I did a trial of Traffic Kaboom. I submitted around 10 or so spun articles. What they do: They are a blog network. You submit articles with your links and anchor text and they publish it. Videos are also used - you can embed one video in each article that you submit and a link to the vid url is automatically included with your chosen keywords. Unlimited domains (but only one per article), 3 article submissions per day on the basic plan, they also have an interface where you can create accounts on video websites like youtube, dailymotion, etc. where you can upload the video to Traffic Kaboom once and they will publish it in all the video sharing websites with your spun titles, descriptions, tags, links, etc. Pros: Good blogs in the network, nice themes and my categories are covered (online entertainment is my niche) User Interface is clean and easy to understand It did help my SERPS ( the most important thing, right?) Cons: They do practice quality control on the articles and something like "you need to put one line space between the video and your paragraph" will mean your article is rejected until you fix it. *ahem* Could they not have just used the enter key and put in the space? Seems like a big waste of time to write that instruction out, wait for me to fix it, them to review it again....YMMV. It would have been better for the article to be approved with that message, rather than wait 3 more days for approval. Seems a waste to me as I could never make and submit enough videos. Also, you need to factor in the time and cost of writing 3 articles per day. Not really the "fault" of the service but rather something to think about depending on your resources. For example, if you already have lots of vids and articles, then it's easy. For myself, I canceled the subscription and will re-subscribe when I have 30 or so vids. Conclusion: it helped me with the SERPs and that's the bottom line. Just be prepared to feed it quality articles and vids, just like any other blog network. |

Sure it takes 3 seconds to do that for YOUR article...but then multiply that by 1000s of users. Not such a minor issue anymore. It makes much more sense for them to send it back to YOU, and then in the future YOU know that you need to watch for such issues. Now when you submit your 90 articles a months (3x30) it's not costing them 5 minutes of time to do the minor edits for your article that you could have been doing yourself. Just a thought as to why they have it setup that way...if I was running the network I'd have my staff doing the same thing. Cheers, ~Dexx

I've edited other people's stuff for a living and you don't reject an article for one line space if it is good. You just fix the one line space yourself and drop off a message - "hey nice work on the article but in the future don't indent the paragraphs, put one space in between them" is the standard practice because it makes more sense and reduces the time it takes to publish material. ![]() Note that nowhere in their UI does it say you have to format the video that way, AFAIK. You only find that out when your articles get rejected which is a big waste of time. I don't know about you but I don't have enough time to waste submitting and then re-submitting articles.

Hey Lyanna, sorry that you got so frustrated but our network has been online since 2006, and our priority is to give the bloggers as good as quality and formatted content as possible within balance of return on investment (ROI). This is how we can retain so many decent blogs in our network. A big part of the ROI is we do not correct errors as this used to cause us nightmares because people would simply keep doing them. This is not something we decided to just do because we are lazy. It is because we have tried the other way and a huge amount of the times, people didn't care. They saw it was approved and did not bother to read the message. We even tried in big red letter and giving three strikes your out, but nothing worked until we just rejected straight away. Again, sorry to frustrate you but its this way 100% on purpose and as always, I really do appreciate the feedback. |

Well then that is a reasonable idea I can understand. I'm more used to dealing with other professional writers, designers, etc., especially offline where such behavior would never be tolerated. http://cdn.warriorforum.com/images/smilies/eek.gif I guess it's different online... lol. No problem, like I said your service is pretty good but it's meant to be used in a certain way - for example, the users will need to submit good articles. Auto-spun crap articles won't do at all, right? I mention this because in other blog networks they just accept anything. Like I said, this isn't a negative but rather something potential TK users have to keep in mind. I'd probably have to hire someone to write the articles and make the videos for me since I don't have the time for all that. Bottom line: IMO TK users need have enough content to submit, otherwise your time and monthly subscription fee will be wasted waiting and waiting for your writers to finish their articles.

Well, I'm lost. Where exactly do you find this function? I can't find it anywhere under 'Video Submit' or anywhere under 'Video' heading at all

You can only see it when you are submitting an article.

Is the 14 day trial offer still valid? I'd be interested in trying out the service.

The only problem I see with Traffic Kaboom is you are allowed to submit 3 articles a day.... Now if you go back in and edit one of your articles one day then that uses up one of your credits so you will only have 2 left. You definately get the feeling of being cheated when this happens. The only thing you can do is completely delete the article and re-submit it which, is frustrating |

I would love to test this network out and see the results on my sites... Anyone know when membership is opening back up again?
