Default Aweber, GetResponse, & iContact

Hello everyone, I was just wondering what the significant differences among these three services are and which one you would recommend. Thanks!

All three have good relationships with the email hosts. Aweber is the most popular of the three. They seen to be integrated the most with other applications, and also seem to have the most positive updates.

While Aweber would be my recommendation out of the three, I don't think that you can go wrong with any of them.

I've only been using Aweber and it works great. I've never had any problems either with their system or customer service.

Thumbs up for Aweber. You can be sure if theres ever an integration script or plugin for auto-responders Aweber is pretty much guaranteed to be in there.

It just saves so much headache in the long run. I used to have mail chimp and it was a pain to integrate with one of my membership sites so I just gave it up and moved over to Aweber.

Best to build your business on the strongest foundations the first time round.

I use Icontact myself, and can't report any problems.

Plus you get a 60-day free trial

I've used both Aweber and Getresponse. I've had no problems with either. Getresponse have given me awesome customer service retrieving some lost campaigns.

I use iContact and find it to be great. Never had a problem with it.

I also have an aweber account but for some reason I just like iContact better. The iContact iPhone app is also quite useful for checking up on things when you are out and about.

Been using I-Contact for years without any complaints. They are getting bigger everyday and their ads are ALL over the place!

I'm re-launching a site and to needed make this very decision last week.

I decided to go with iContact since I like that we can add people to the list without making them RE-opt-in, while Aweber requires that they opt-in again.

If not for the above fact, I'd probably have gone with Aweber.

Oh, the 60 day free trial didn't hurt either!

I'm getting spam via icontact.com and they haven't responded to my reports, so I'm not very impressed with them.

Edit to add: They have now responded so I'm more impressed now!

Highly recommend.

Just double-checking (last time! ) to see if there's new word on Aweber vs iContact.

I plan on using one of the two for a LONG time, so it's a tough call.

I'd just like to add that iContact may not be the best among the three. All the emails from aweber reach my inbox whether its yahoo or gmail whereas iContact goes to spam on yahoo.

You can also consider imnicamail, they are far more economical.

Aweber fan here as well. Have never used anything else!

Nothing but good things to say about the program and the support!

I am in the same doubt as you. So far I want to try Icontact but the issue of emails going to the spam folder makes me think

Aweber has the highest deliverability rate and the most professional customer service.

Plus the most detailed stats.

They are simply number 1. Frank Kern uses aweber too

iContact is VERY close percentage-wise. Not sure we'd see much of difference individually.

I still like the fact that iContact allows us to add to a list without making the people RE-opt-in. If Aweber allowed this I'd go with them -- but they don't.

I think I've read something about having a big list. If 500 subscriber cost you around 19 USD a month, I think people wont be paying for the big list. I mean, considering the cost itself, you can get your own private label autoresponder program set up for your self.

I forget where I read it before, but I think somewhere in the warrior forum as well.

Update: Another icontact spammer arrived today. (No spam from aweber or getresponse).

aweber sucks, their emails ALWAYS head in my spam box, regardless what email address I use, hotmail, gmail, yahoo, even my domains email addresses.

getresponse, excellent support and excellent delivery rates.

icontact, you can spam the death out of your list more than once a day - to a point its just ridiculous.
