I am in the process of developing a plugin that works hand in hand with autoresponder services and software. I want to make sure the major ones are covered such as Aweber Mailchimp AutoresponsePlus Getresponse Constantcontact icontact infusionsoft emailaces Are there any others that you have been using? |

I have tried aWeber and icontact. Right now I'm using a free one that came with the business building package I am currently using. It works fine for me and at no cost it's hard to beat. |

I'm using Aweber at the moment and I'm getting on with it alright. Mailchimp is cool if you haven't got the budget. |

I use mailchimp and it is not as bad as some people have said. I mean they have good templates to use and you can use them for free for up to 2000 subscribers.

The prices are not steep the graphics they provide are much better compare to any of a rivals More tools and options Always pleasure to return back. Lets say second - iContact is very GREY and dull when compare to Aweber. Thank you

| I second these. I recently switched to Imnica from Aweber. Imnica is warrior owned and will be a household name in a few years. Also listwire is very popular as well as it is free. Another up and coming warrior AR is autosenders.com so you might add that to the list as well. Good luck |

Not knowing any details about the script you are working on... be aware that aweber has several 'white label' versions. (almost) everything works on them like in aweber, except the default pages return on their own domains. There used to be a plugin where I had to replace manually all the lines in the code that were referring to the URL of the aweber thankyou page and the like. |

ListWire. It's the best FREE autoresponder service, with pro features like built-in Twitter support, list replication, merge fields, subscriber and link tracking, and a unique co-op list building + traffic building system.

I have tried Aweber and GetResponse. The later one was to confusing to me. I really like Aweber because it's pretty easy to know how to do things. |

For Wordpress, I use WP AutoResponder. The only thing that is bad about it is not very user-friendly. It takes a long time to understand everything and it is a long process.

I've been using Imnica Mail for the past 3 months and they have been pretty good until recently. I know they had some server problems a few weeks back and were suppose to be getting some new hardware. But the auto response message from my opt in list has been very slow. So slow that I'm now getting more and more emails from people who purchase my products telling me they never got the link. So I'm working on moving to Aweber as I can't be looking bad, especially after I have paying customers. Plus Aweber integrates with the Wordpress shopping cart I'm using. JR |

i used aweber and icontact but recently switched to fully icontact. Why? It seems icontact deliverable seems best and so is the customer support. It's a little pricey but as the old saying goes- you get what you pay for |

I have a client who has 1300 e-mail addresses. Which autoresponders allow you to import? I use aweber and they don't.

| Nearly every internet marketing script/cart created integrates with Aweber's email parser. iContact isn't even on the radar for internet marketers. This should seal the deal for anyone.

And since iContact allows us to manually add to our lists (Aweber doesn't) it seems like the better option.

As a final note, I don't recommend iContact because I had a pretty bad iContact experience. However, other people claim they work fine. It sounds like you're stuck choosing a provider that allows imports. If that's the case, you have very few choices. Good luck on your research and decision.

Any further feedback on Imnica Mail? I was just checking out their offer and it appears they claim to have resolved the server issue they just had. It is considerably cheaper. Cheers! |

By the way, I'm not ONLY looking for a provider that allows imports. I just see it as a positive attribute -- just in case it's ever needed. P.S. -- sorry to read about about the problem you had you iContact. Personally I think you should have gotten your money back. And seeing one of their head-honchos acknowledging that you didn't get great service -- yet didn't help to get your money back -- didn't sit well with me.

I use Getresponse. Been using them for years and have the OLD payplan... up to 10,000 members for $17.95 per month or something like that. I pay yearly so it's even cheaper than that. But what I like most about Getresponse is the Customer Service. Always been a great help and timely. Highly recommend. |

I recently test drove IContact, did a test, and did not like the results. Although I setup an autoresponder 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 days after the initial sign up, my test email account got all 6 emails at once. Maybe I did something wrong, but I really don't think so. Anyway, now I'm considering Aweber or one of the free ones.
