Has anyone heard of a wp plugin that will create a search-able database. I am creating a site that will list thousands of links for users to search, for now I have been planning on just using wordpress categories and letting people search posts that way. What I would really like is to have people be able to enter their criteria into a form and have the plugin spit back relevant results. Obviously I would need a back end where the items (in this case links) could be entered. I would also need to be able to assign qualities to each entry, so for this example the page rank of the link, the kind of link (directory, profile, etc.), and maybe date entered. Thats what I need does anyone know of anything out there or know of a good way to have something like that made? Thanks! |

Why not use a Link Directory script? | |

That would work great if you know of one that would allow member only access to the links. These links would be, locations of places to leave blog comments, create profiles, etc. Not a place for people to submit their site in order to get a link. I dont know if a link directory script would work. If you know how by all means let me know.

Yes and no, I only need to search items I enter. Lets just say I have a list of a few thousand (really good) places to create backlinks. I want to be able to enter the links to all of those places and make that database searchable. So if I want 20 PR 6 Do follow blog comments I can enter that click submit and pull up the results. I then send that list to my VA and he creates the comments. Does that make sense? |

We've been able to do shared login with phpLD and Wordpress before, so if we can help, feel free to ask for a quote in our jobs area.
