Default Auto Traffic Tycoon

Hi,

I just got a email for Auto Traffic Tycoon by Daniel Carter & Sipher X.

Looks like a neat product but I wonder what it's really is all about. If it's another article submitter I'll go spare.

Hacking into a secret underground forum, ooh interesting story.

Any reviews? or thoughts on this?

Lee

Not to sure about ATT and video didn't tempt me as it seemed like the same over hyped crap alot of people seem to be using to push products. They did release a free software tool called Traffic Quake Software which searches for blogs on any given phrase and then automates the posting process. I'll wait till I read a few buys reviews before making a decision on this, but will say the free software is pretty good for searching for blogs to comment on related to your market.

I agree with BigNorm on it looking like the same hypercrud. FYI to any test pilots; there's a $10 exit discount.

Good Luck!

I've pretty much given up on trying to find the "magic bullet" buy I guess I keep looking. Thank heaven for the Warrior Forum - it's saved me a lot of money.
I'll do the work by hand. Then I know it's getting done.
Thanks to BigNorm for the free software info - that might be worth something
I'm passing on this one - I hate the upsell stuff. As has been said in the Forum before, you feel like what ever you just bought was inadequate and not a good investment.
Thanks again Warriors

So far, it appears that there is no magic software, as purported on the sales page. This is based on the reports from those that have bought it.

Looks like another "NO GO" product.

Too bad.

It is a site builder. You give it your hosting info or you can use there hosting and will put in your domain. Software will then install wordpress first then theme and at the end 16 plugins at once. That's all what software can do. There is also a content creation tool that create gather content for your site.

Push Button Cash site, Auto Blog syndicate, Instant Cash Empire, Stripped down profits and this auto traffic taycoon are same type of products.

Haha, i have a software that can do that too... I got it for free.

It's called FTP.

FileZilla, baby! Pre-populate your wordpress install with the right plugins and theme, upload, then BAM! Instant website creation software.

Thank you, FileZilla...

And thank you RSS feeds for providing my site with ongoing, automated content that Google hates, all for free.

Oh dear, yet another Golden Goose for sale at a low, low price.

If it was any good and takes no effort, why sell it?

If it's not promoted here in the WF, then be very, very suspicious.

That is not say that all promoted here are good but
the odds are in favour.

I fully agree that there is no such thing as magic bullet.... but if you can add in a bit more creative juice, do things a bit different from most internet marketers, you can reap the rewards.

Keeping you updated:

I plunged in, bought the program without upsells. The members area is well laid out with a step by step guide, clear video instructions where needed and download links for each component as you come to them.

There is a keyword tool which is like no other I've seen and is, frankly, very smart. It is certainly a huge labour-saving device and certainly not what you'd get from Market Samurai, Google keywords or any of the other kw tools.

I downloaded that and had a quick play with it to check it was working before moving onto the next instruction.

Now I hit a glitch. Clicking on the link for the next step I am confronted with a login page asking me for a password. I have yet to receive a password.

After numerous attempts to "retrieve" the non-existent password by entering my email address, I wrote off to the support address. That was some 16 hours ago and there is still no reply.

Okay ... I know it's the weekend, but if you're going to do a major product launch on a Thursday it's a fair bet you're going to get some sales at the weekend, isn't it?

I eventually found I could work around this by going back to my original download link I got from Clickbank when I purchased and starting over, which means clicking past all the upsell links each time and entering one's name and email, (not password - that is never asked for). Having thus got back to the main instructional page, I discovered that I could now click on the errant "next step" link and actually be taken to the next step and not the nuisance login page from which there was no escape. The "back" button is somehow disabled.

At last - the heart of the program - the site builder. Two very clear videos explain and show precisely what it will do and what you need to do. You are then given a link to download it, and warned that you will be asked for your password.

Praying that this will be my email address I clicked the link, and I find myself on a page with the name of the software and a tempting button marked "install." Clicking hopefully, I was confronted with a page of code!

No amount of refreshing produced a different result.

I moved on to see what else I could do and downloaded some plr content which the authors have thoughtfully provided.

Some downloaded, some glitched.

At this point I decided I had wasted enough time for one day - since I can't actually create a site without the software. (Well, I can, but I could have done that before without my time and money invested).

Now, in fairness, I have to say that if this can all be made to work it is actually very good value for money. The keyword tool alone is a real gem, and I have never seen anything like it before.

The site building software - as demo'd in the videos, is actually far more than mere ftp - there are a load of whistles and bells included that really do make it not only push-button simple but actually should pull in traffic.

I haven't looked at the plr stuff yet, but there are 75,000 articles supplied covering a huge range of profitable niches, so content isn't going to be a problem either.

And there is a whole module I haven't looked at yet, (because there's no point until everything is working), on how to update and tweak your sites once they're live.

Overall, the ideas IMHO are brilliant. You aren't going to produce a lot of cloned sites. It is endlessly scaleable. It shouldn't alarm Google. It OUGHT to work!

If only it did - technically!

I don't want a refund - I want this to work - but sadly if I don't get a response from the support team, (and one that fixes all the bugs), I will be left with no choice.

I have sent them a strong message again, via the Clickbank alert system, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have to say, that for both newbies and experienced IM'ers alike, if ... and I realise it's a big if ... they iron out the bugs and get their act together on the support, this is about the closest I've yet seen to a "magic bullet" for a low budget for a very long time.

I hope that comes across as fair and balanced, because as I write I'm frustrated that I can't use it, but I honestly believe that the creators' intentions are good and that they have over-delivered for $37 bucks.

I'll keep you posted as to how it turns out!

Trevor.

If it all works as they say it should, and you follow their instructions, yes, the traffic should start to come automatically, and I can see how it could be pretty quick too. The proof of that particular pudding, of course, can only come when I can get the thing to work.

The hype, as far as I can see, is in all the stuff about "only so many left at this price" and so on. Amazingly, I've been one of the "last 38" to be offered one of the upsells every time I click through the links!

I do wish people could find a more honest form of leverage if we must use leverage to sell at all.

Honestly, if the technical stuff can be ironed out, for the money this is a good bit of kit. I can only speak for myself, but I'd rather own this than, say SENuke, which I always thought was rather black hat and I still had to do all the donkey work first.

This could hardly make it easier to find the niches, build the sites or attract the traffic ... except I can't make it work!! Grrrrr!!

Btw, I discovered a friendly but annoying line of text on their support page saying that the support team only works Monday to Friday as "they're only human."

I have total understanding of that, but I wish there'd been some allowance for the "only human" customers who spend their precious weekends and cash on projects like the one they launched on Thursday!

More grrrrrrrrr!!!

Anyway, I still have faith that they will come back to me and these teething problems will get sorted. I am honestly keen to see it work - I think they have a well thought out idea here. For the price of, what, a family take out Chinese dinner ...

And I still have my money back guarantee if they can't fix it.

Don't get that at the Chinese!

Monday tomorrow ... hoping to get it all running ...!!

Cheers,
Trevor.

IMPORTANT UPDATE.

I just got an email - a generic one - from Danny Carter, (one of the creators of ATT), saying there have been some hiccups, lots of people have had them, and they will all be fixed "in the next few days."

I guess they've been flooded with emails like mine.

They're on the case - that's good.

They should have done more testing before launching, methinks.

But I'm up for a little forgiveness.

Cheers,
Trevor.

Automated Site-builder? - Isn't that what Simple Scripts is? or Fantastico? either of these come free with your hosting..

Fire FTP -Free Firefox Plugin... Filezilla as an alternative...

It's all there baby don't waste your cash. There is no reason to simplify what is already an automated simple thing to do. Do some research into what are the best plugins to use - Google will help you with this but people are blogging about this stuff all over the net..

BTW - Fill your new site with all the duplicated crap they provide and Google will run away from your site so fast you'll blink and miss it..

There's No substitute for a bit of work guys..

Thanks again WF for the great tips. I have to agree with this quote. I have been building profitable sites (120 so far) manually for 3 years now and it works just fine thank you.

Compared to other work I have done this is easy work, not hard, and the pay is everyday! How cool is that?

It's so funny to see real courses that show you how to really make money online and the people who buy them complaining that they do not work, but they do not take action on the knowledge they have learned, so of course it would not work. Then these same people spend money over and over again on some magic-bullet, push-button software that promises to make them a millionaire over night.

Hello! Do you really think that if there was software that existed like that it would sell for 37 dollars? I was born at night, but it wasn't last night.

Thanks Trevor for your thorough review.

I have bought Stealth Profit Machine created by Chris Ferville and Massive Passive Profit created by Bill Mc Rea. I didn't ask for refund either, because, even though they are similar, both have their own strengths and weaknesses. But overall they are not that bad.

How good is ATT compared to these 2 products?

Just a quick note to say that many product related posts are about offers that have a video, telling you what the product can do yet they never reveal what is the product about. This technique is called "blind selling" I personally hate it and never buy a product by not knowing what it is.

this forum definetely help before you buy purpose, yet dont you think is a time consuming route?
so few time saving tips, use firefox as browser, download the addon downloadhelper, this will let you download the sell video so you can fast forward it as you wish and don't have to sit watching it all, then see if you can find the tech support on CB and send those people an email saying that althaugh you enjoyed the video you don't buy "blind selling" and you like to know what the product is about not what it promise to do. create a text file of this email as you will be paste it in and reuse it each time you come across such products offer.
Yes the magic bullet does not exhist, but if you find a micro niche of buyers, with no/little competion, little content written(articles, video etc). Go ahead create or outsource 5 articles, repackage them as videos, PPT presentation, press releases, bind them togheter as reports, MP3 podcast, create Rss for each, put aggregators such as Onlywires to book mark like crazy and Bum you got traffic for sure, the only think to learn then is to turn traffic and subscriber into buyers

Still waiting on the install script problems on the site builder to be resolved. From the videos the site builder is an automated Wordpress install. Once the website install script is done the customization is all done through standard Wordpress maintenance of your website.

Part of my curiosity is what are the 16 plugins that are installed? I'm sure they are standard plugins you can find for Wordpress, but I'm curious what they are and how they are used.

I'm also curious why you have to install on their hosting account/server. I really don't want my websites on someone else's account out of my control. I was under the impression the install script could be used on your hosting account, but I haven't seen anything explaining how to do it.

Can you explain some more about the keyword tool and what makes it different from Market Samurai and Google Keyword Tool?
What does it do that is so unique?

I'm also curious why you have to install on their hosting account/server. I really don't want my websites on someone else's account out of my control. I was under the impression the install script could be used on your hosting account, but I haven't seen anything explaining how to do it.

Got the updated install script and installed on their hosting server which I don't like. At the end of the day it's just automating a standard Wordpress install with all the plugins so you don't have to go back and install them individually.

The jury is still out on some of the linking and traffic generation tools included in Auto Traffic Tycoon.

If anyone from Auto Traffic Tycoon is monitoring this thread please respond on the ability to use the Site Builder tool on your personal hosting account versus the ATT hosting server.

Seriously making a clickbank ebook about making $, will make you $.. But it won't make you any $ if you buy it lol.

A week has gone by ...

>> SIGH <<

I have emailed ATT support 3 times about glitches in the keyword software and also PLR files which don't download.

No reply.

They remind us twice in as many short paragraphs on their "get help" page that they are "only human."

I'm not sure what they think their customers are!

I have yet to try the auto-installing software due to the fact that I can't even do the keyword research required or access the content to fill the blog when/if I get it up and running.

Which, to judge by the reports of bugs in it, I doubt I would.

Enough weekends wasted. This was clearly launched well before it was ready, and the back-up/support is abysmal.

In the meantime, there have been two "bulletins" sent out by Daniel Carter raving about the "awesome" response they've had to ATT. Pity they don't post some of it up somewhere - I'd love to read that.

I still think the idea was brilliant, and there was certainly an attempt to over-deliver for the money, but I've lost all trust in these people when it comes to support.

They say support is their top priority. I'm glad it's not second, is all I can say!

Ah, well.

Next!

Trevor.

Trevor,
thanks again for the continued review I to purchased auto traffic tycoon, but I waited untill the 17th. hoping all the bugs would be worked out. I seen the first upsell at 297.00 and skipped that one then there was a downsell for 97.00 so ipurchased that one. it says it gives you25 campaigns all complete and since I am new I figured this would help

but after that there was yet another up sell to be part of the super elite team. I thought I was already a part of the super elite with the fist upsell but silly me that was just the platium elite. this next upsell is 67.00 per month in addition to the 137.00 I already spent. I figured I would wait to see how it ran first before I joined monthly.

i cannot even get into that platium elite account. I was never sent a password or login to get in. so I figured out I can get into the regulare memeber area through my clickbank reciept but that does not get me into
area which is suppose to save me time. so I guess I will wait a couple more days to see if they send me a password. I was really hoping with this one.

Boy - these guys seem to really know how to push their customers to the limit. Sheer, unadulterated greed must be the driving force. Can't these people understand that if you p*** off your customers you just end up without a business?

What a shame!

My advice about your password, (I didn't get one either for several days), is to complain via Clickbank. When I did that I got a response. Contacting them directly has produced nothing but a resoundingly loud silence.

In the meantime, you can get round the password issue by, again, going via the link to your download that Clickbank supplies - you can get into the members' area that way - at least you can get some of the downloads and watch the videos. It's long-winded though. Each time you click on a link for the next step, you'll be asked to login again and you can go round the whole shooting match another time - if you can be bothered.

In the end, though, there's not a lot of point, because most of it doesn't work as described.

I just can't get past the stupidity of these guys: if they'd just got the bugs out before they launched and given the support they promised they'd have had a real winner here. What a waste of everyone's time!

C'est la vie, I suppose.

Good luck with the next one. At least CB will give you your money back. I'll be getting mine in the morning unless there's a VERY good letter in my email from the support team.

Hey! A pig just flew past my window.

Cheers,
Trevor.

Finishing the Sorry Saga...

I've finally requested a refund after receiving, (for the second time), the following automated email in response to my directly sending to their support address, (they're only human!!)

(Details and links deleted for obvious reasons):
Hello

Thanks for your purchase and apologies for the delay in response, unfortunately we have been experiencing problems with emails so the support desk is quite busy.

You can log into the members area with the following instructions.

First, follow this link:

http://autotraffictycoon.com/lots-more-link-deleted

Then insert your log in information...

USERNAME: xxxxxxxxx

PASSWORD: xxxxx

You will then have access to the members area and we recommend you bookmark this web page for future reference.

SITE BUILDING SOFTWARE

Some people have reported problems downloading the Auto Site Builder when using the Firefox browser.

A small proportion if users are saying that when they click on the 'Install' button here...

link-was-here

They are then directed to a page full of HTML text.

If you are experiencing the same issue then please try logging into your members area from another browser such as Internet Explorer.

This solves the issue for many people.

The product vendor has been informed about missing content and problem links and we have been informed that these issues will soon be resolved.

Regards
Customer Support

That wasn't what I asked them about anyway! Apparently the "only humans" know how to set up an autoresponder.

Just FYI and as a recap:

  • The login did not work on purchase and no password received.
  • The site builder software would only download in IE, not Firefox.
  • The keyword finder software does not work as demonstrated. It finds trends and keywords but does not perform the essential analysis step, (which it is seen doing in the video accompanying it). It simply returns blank columns.
  • Also, the keyword finder, if left running, runs a script in the background which will slow your computer to a grinding halt. (I took the trouble to point these flaws out twice - the result was the above message in reply).
  • At least two of the zip files containing PLR content do not download. (No response - told 'em twice).
  • Essential explanatory videos were missing or would not play on purchase. (Now fixed I believe).
  • And finally - they do not respond to support requests!

I think I've been fair as a customer as well as someone who also puts out products for sale from time to time, (so I have some empathy). I've tried to cut them some slack. If anyone thinks otherwise, please say so, (but tell me why!)

I can only say, with regret, don't buy this and caveat emptor! Thank goodness for CB's refund policy.

If anyone has evidence of getting this program running and some good results I have a hat standing by which, at the moment, I'm willing to eat. (I may recant on this in the actual event, but I'm pretty confident I won't have to)

Cheers,
Trevor.

Thanks for the heads-up Trevor.
Maybe all will be fixed in a few weeks.
I see on the CB site the Gravity for this product is 242.
That's a hell of a lot of unhappy customers if everyone is having the same trouble as you had.

That's a very good point. However, I have received, presumably along with every other ATT customer, two emails since purchase from Danny Carter, (the creator), saying that they are having an "awesome" response to the program. There are no testimonials quoted or published, so I can't help but wonder if these are simply propaganda intended to keep up the morale of disappointed customers.

I guess we'll never know.

I'm also intrigued by what appears to be a complete absence of positive reviews or defence of ATT on this forum.

All water under the bridge now as far as I'm concerned, but a lot of lessons learned.

Trevor.

FileZilla, baby! Pre-populate your wordpress install with the right plugins and theme, upload, then BAM! Instant website creation software.

Thank you, FileZilla...

And thank you RSS feeds for providing my site with ongoing, automated content that Google hates, all for free.

Just wondering if you can share how to do this pre-population thing... thanks.

It's a neat trick making $670,012 in one month with broken software. How ever do they do it?

Awesome information you've provided for people, Wizardofwisdom.

Is this an Andrew Fox product? I noticed the CB id is gsneak & the exitsplash page is coming from gneak .com & the nameserver listed is nuclearaffiliate .com which is one of his products. Also, if you exit out you get a page which has "AffiliateMillionaire .com" listed at the bottom, which was an Andrew Fox product, although currently the domain is registered to John Reese.

It seems like AutoTrafficTycoon is an Andrew Fox product. Does he have a centralized support system you could contact possibly?
