Default targeting marketing question

I recently got into a niche for 3d animation and im a little confused. I looked up a few keywords and i've been focus my attention to discovering my target market and the keywords i found off of google adwords told me that there were 20k or so search queries for the term 3d animator software.

I wrote like 11 articles using this keyword and i wasen't seeing to much so i took the keyword and looked at where these people were from and other demographics you know like age and all that kind of stuff. well i found out that most of people looking for this term were really searching for animation courses and most of these people are from india but then again google adwords will tell me that 20k searches for 3d animator software so im not sure if im doing something wrong or not.

should i be targeting animation courses or 3d animator software? It sucks because I just can't seem to find out who is actually looking for the term 3D animator software but I know people are definetly looking for animation courses and there mostly in india anyways so I can't even really market to them.

well I just have no idea how to target other countries.

Look at both those options and see if either of them have good affiliate opportunities. Based on what you've said, it sounds as if the course option is out, which leaves the software. If nothing else. there must be products on Amazon you can recommend.

Failing that, you've only written 11 articles, so it's not as if you're tied long-term to this niche. Move on to the next one, which may well be the one that makes you your millions.

Default Re: targeting marketing question

Make sure your targetting the "EXACT MATCH" queries and you can target better.
If that all fails just leave the site up with some basic seo and ad adsense or something. You might be able to get a can of coke or a cheeseburger a few times a month with the revenue.

Do what thom says too and just load it up with amazon etc too. I have a few site like this and occassionally you get a nice surprise when some one actually buys a "pink lacey dog collar for my pitbull"

Cheers
