If you guys want to pick a ProfitsTheme I suggest you head here---->ProfitsTheme (not an affiliate link) to get it. If you're not familiar ProfitsTheme is very similar to OptimizePress, JV Press, and the WP Product Launch Theme. To see all of its features go to the sales page. It was released as a WSO a few weeks back then taken off the market to fix some bugs. It's back and if you act now you can get it for $27 before the price increase on Monday, March 21st. Just thought you'd like to know. Kevin |

Do you know how to reach them? I bought this, but can;t get the domains registered - says they don't have my email address, even though I logged in once already. Sent a ticket to support, still waiting. Would love to use it and have some people on another forum waiting for m feedback before they decide to buy, but as of right now I can't recommend it, because I can't use it. Any help in reaching someone there would be great, as I really would like to give it a go. Thanks! |

I love trying out new themes like this so I went ahead and purchased it. Anyone here use it? I'm curious how well the membership site functionality works. Andrew |

G'day i use profits theme on a few sites now, It is a nice easy to edit and use theme. I am building my membership site now and once you understand the hierachy of the pages and how to build the site it is quite easy to use. Funny thing I joined a program on WF just the other day and surprise it is a membership based site using profits theme. It was nice to see it from the inside and I recognised the theme right away as I have been learning to use it for a few weeks. Look for $27 you would be hard pressed to find a theme that can be changed and used like profits theme can. You can protect pages and intergrate with your payment system fast. @Edakehurst try using the paypal email you used to buy it, That worked for me. Hope that helps ODA Both sites in My sig are profits theme. Including my OneDumbAussie testing ground. |

After reading the entire original thread about this WSO, and although I was initially wanting to buy this theme, I was ready to pass and pull the trigger on Optimize Press. But I decided to chance it. If it didn't work out — well, I've spent $27 on other products that have disappointed and figured, "what's one more?" The purchase process was flawless, and was able to get "on the other side" as they say. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. Welly is all over the site, answering questions completely, as is his partner. Plenty of instructional videos are posted, on subjects from simple to advanced, with promises of more to come. And the non-video instructions are clear and generally precise. The theme itself is highly automated. I was able to create the pages for a full sales and fulfillment site within seconds after filling in my company information. Of course, the hard part of writing copy and inserting proper graphics remains, but there is plenty of help through the sample text to get you started. The only downside that I see, is that I'm going to need to spend some serious time learning how to maximize this site — but that's a good thing, as it offers plenty of options. Frankly, I haven't spent a lot of time with the theme, and I'm sure I will discover that it may not do some things the way I'd like, or some functionality that will be missing. I'm also sure, from the comments on the inside, that Welly will continue to issue updates. My main disappointment was in the lack of a large selection of skins and headers, but for the price, I'm not going to complain. As a designer with 13 years of web experience, I would make my own headers and skins anyway, so it's not that major an issue. The domain registration requirement doesn't bother me, as Flexsqueeze theme requires the same thing. Only time will tell if it becomes a liability, but the same could have been said of Ryan for his Flexsqueeze theme, and he's been extremely reliable. Welly will probably turn out the same. Encrypted code also doesn't bother me, as many plugin developers do the same. All in all, I think I'm going to like learning and using this theme. I would say to others considering it to just give it a try. It's different on the inside than from this thread, which admittedly, was poorly handled. Just my thoughts. gary |

Here is a question regarding domains: If I have this on a domain like www.yadayadayada.com [example] and, say , I also want to add it to a subdomain like either www.blog.yadayadayada.com or www.yadayadayada.com/blog, would that be permissible? |

Hi Gary, This theme sounds interesting, but what is this about having to register a domain? Thanks, Di Also, the encrypted code? |

homejobcreator, that's a requirement by Welly, the theme creator. Before you can use the theme after installing it, you must go to the member website and get a license key by typing the name of the domain you will use the theme on. You can register any number of themes. You can bulk register many domains at the same time. Once you have the registration number, paste it into the appropriate place in the theme options. It will "call home" to activate itself and then you can use it. It's not time-sonsuming or difficult, but not everyone likes that requirement. Unlimited registrations are included in the purchase price. Hope that helps. gary |

I am having a hard time installing the theme. FileZilla shows a great number of failed transfer and it is just too huge to install it through Wordpress dashboard

I use a Mac, so I use Fetch to FTP, rather than FileZilla. And, I'm not Profits Theme tech support, of course, but I can suggest something. Use the File Manager in CPanel to upload the ZIP file to the theme's directory. Then "extract" the files from the zip. You should be good to go. (You can delete the ZIP) file. I do this when I want to do a manual install of Wordpress. gary |

I've been following the 10-page thread about PT using obfuscated code and the way licensing works. If I understand correctly from that thread, OptimizePress also has the same licensing method (not sure about obfuscated code). Anyone can point out to me if there is a debate as well for OP? Also, to what extent can theme/plugin developer can encrypt his code, because I know some that encrypt the 'calling home' part or the footer link that points to the theme/plugin website and it seems this practice is ok. I'm getting more confused here. The offer is closing soon and I still can't decide if I should buy it or not ... |

Battra, my decision was to buy it at the $27 price and let the dust settle on the obfuscated code, licensing and GPL issues described in the original thread. If it all works out, you've got a capable theme for the price of a decent dinner. I've purchased many WSO that weren't quite ready for prime time, but were a great price. Some worked out well and were supported and upgraded into something really useful. Others, not so much. Saved money overall. I'm not worried about registration of domains, as OP and Flexsqueeze (and others, I am sure) do the same thing. The obfuscated code is a little worrisome, as I'd like to know what the code is doing, but sooner or later, that information will come out. The most problematic issue is the GPL licensing issue. However, reasonable people will be able to get that worked out. Don't mean to sound like a Profits Theme evangelist. Just my $.02. gary |

Thanks, Gary! You have valid points there. I also would think that Welly should sort the issues out as it's not worth getting bad reputation over big launch like this. And you certainly didn't sound like an evangelist :-)

The Theme looks good but what about support? I get nervous when i don't see product developers/owners getting involved? But for $27 i suppose it's worth taking a chance... |

I have nothing to do with the product but I doubt it will be $27.00 again. I believe this was an extension of the WSO timeline (the theme was removed early to fix bugs).

I bought this at the $27 price and man was it a steal. I got a membership site up in a few hours, my first too! The tutorials were very detailed. They have both video and pdfs in the members area. I emailed support with a few questions and they were prompt with the answers. It doesnt allow free membership at the moment but they say its in the pipeline. |

How do you find Profits Theme in terms of SEO? Do you think It will work very well for a small niche site? I have my doubts regarding the size of the theme and the loading time affecting SEO?

I am avid user of Profit Theme, love it. If you are setting up micro niche sites or Sniper sites, use the free templates, you'd be wasting you money on this beast of a theme. This theme is great for anything else you do, especially authority sites and membership sites. |

I'm using this theme as well. Makes it so easy to crank out a sales page, squeeze page, download page. I'm sure there are some other good themes that do this, but I'm very happy with Profits.

One thing I am finding a little frustrating with the support is that occasionally they can only give you one answer in any 24 hour period. So if you have an on-going issue and they suggest you do something and a few minutes later you did it and need clarification or it did not resolve the issue, you often have to wait another day to get an answer. Doesn't happen all the time and maybe I am being a tad unreasonable. It can get frustrating, though, especially as they don't work weekends

We're running the WarriorEvent2011.com site on ProfitsTheme. I paid $97 and it's a fine theme. Has many similarities to OP, but also some of its own unique strengths - especially how quick and easy you can set up a membership site or sell a product without needing anything else. Slick! Brian |

What I'm saying is: Customer buys a one time fee front end product let's say $17 They are then offered an upsell of a monthly membership for the next month say at $9/month If they don't buy the upsell, they are taken to the membership area where ONLY the one time product is shown, however they can still upgrade to the membership at any time. Once they do eventually upgrade they have access to the membership contents and the one-time product they originally purchased.
