Help! Popular Squidoo/Wordpress Type Places???

I already know that blogs, directories, and things like Squidoo are good places to put information but what are some other popular ones to use?

Ezine Articles is one of the most popular. Write a good 300-500 word article that in YOUR WON.

Make sure you article is not too sales like and is informative. You can link your website to the author sig. Ezine and About get about 1 million unique visitors daily. So if your article is good. Those are the only 2 you will need.
ABout.com is also good.

Both these directories are heavily index by the search engines.

Info Barrel, Shetoldme, Tipdrop, HubPages...

Check out Articles on SEO, Advertising, Improving Traffic, Linkbuilding, Website Reviews and you'll see two internal links at the top. Revenue Sharing Sites List and Linkbuilding Tools and Backlink Sites. Both have a great listing of web 2.0 sites, like Squidoo.

Document sharing sites like Scribd , slideshare etc.

Another tip is to read your articles and submit it to all podcast directories, create powerpoint slides and add audio (previously created) and submit to all video sharing sites.

Good ideas thanks. I was trying to think outside the typical a bit here.
