I'm intrigued by the potential of using Doc Stoc. It sounds like you can submit a free report and include a link to your website. In addition, they share Adsense revenue with you. Have any of you had success with Doc Stoc? I can imagine it would be effective for drawing visitors to your website, but the Adsense earnings would probably not be significant. Any experiences?

I have had a little bit of success from DocStoc, but do NOT sign up for revenue share with your adsense account. That is what got mine wiped out. Google deleted my account - that was the only change I've made to my adsense account in 3 years - I asked them how one site could do that, and they said 'thank you for explaining, but your account is closed permanently'.

Just my experience, hopefully others have better.

Don't understand why signing up for revenue sharing is a problem for Adsense. I have been signed up with revenue sharing for ages and not had a problem.

I have tried converting a few of my longer articles into PDFs and then submitting them to various document sharing sites including Docstoc, Scribd and few others. This has brought a trickle of traffic. The amount of traffic with no backlinks, bookmarking etc compares well with what I have been getting at article directories.

I did consider putting a few articles together to make a mini ebook with some affiliate links in to publish at Docstoc and elsewhere, but have never got around to it.

Putting your AdSense code on a site that you don't control is a profoundly bad idea.
