Just came across that Site: The Hypnotic Postcard - The Money-Making Tool So Powerful It Should Be Banned! . What do you guys think of this? Has anybody purchased this package already?

    I'm pretty if the majority of the marketers out there took the time to contact 50 business owners per day (direct mail, by phone, email, etc.) they would also see amazing results very fast...

    ...truth is most marketers (from what I've noticed) contact maybe 1-5 businesses a month...don't get a response...and then give up.

    If you want an actual quality Postcard Marketing training method, check out Tim Castleman's 30 minute postcard training (if he still sells it).

    ...from what I can tell from my quick glance of the salesletter -- you "buy" the postcard method, but the real money (for them) will come in the form of the services they provide such as 1-800 number, leads, etc.

    Just make sure you truly understand what is required for their "hypnotic" system and not just hype-notized by their sales page.

        I'd like to know how many cards you specifically mailed out and what your conversion rate was and net profits if you don't mind sharing.

        I have experience working with clients who do postcard mailings... big pros in fact... and I do know that the results for selling PRODUCTS via postcards range wildly from the following factors...

        what list you're renting
        what offer you're making
        the PRICE point of the offer
        The copy of the postcard

        And even other things like WHERE you're mailing the postcard from -- we've had examples of where we KNEW that mail carriers were literally just tossing out the postcard instead of delivering them at all!

        The most effective ways I've personally been involved with where postcards where used is for lead generation. Postcard captures a lead, followed up with a direct mail package. Or postcard generates a phone call to a number than they listen to a pre-recorded message, and THEN are switched over to a live agent.

        The absolute most important thing though is NOT the copy written on the post card, it is list selection. Instead of learning to write "hypnotic postcard copy" I'd say it is FAR, FAR more important to become a "list picking psychic"

    I will say simply this: POSTCARDS DID NOT WORK FOR ME, FOR SH*T, I TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERY LIST, EVERY COPY, PRICE POINT, AND SPENT ABOUT $3,400 IN THE PROCESS. (Mostly Stamps) Just plain did'nt find it to be Effective, even after some had touted it as the holy grail, they could'nt even provide me with a campaign of theirs that broke the 1.5 % response rate, guess I should have asked that before I dove in so deep, I WILL NEVER DIVE INTO IT AGAIN. Just my experience.

      BTW, Just straight Cold Calling has worked the best for me, in ANY venture, especially in my Offline Marketing Biz, but, I would'nt recommend it if you hate rejection, or are sensitive to getting "No's" Or even yelled at. (Rare, but it happens, Crab People do exist) Anyway, I can close 3-5 Business a month doing like What Dexx says, contacting at least 50, and setting up face to face meetings, most of the time based on a good free incentive, and very non canned sales approach. Sorry this thread is not about "Offline Marketing". Just thought I would give my solution, rather than just saying "Postcard marketing stinks" As I say "Grow A Pair, Make a Call"
