Shopping Cart that will add buyer to Aweber without confirmation?? Please list the ones you know of!

Hey everybody...

Right now I'm a bit done with using a shopping cart that uses a parser and sends out a confirmation email. Even though I like the other features, I just need one that is going to add the email to the list automatically without confirmation (single opt in from buyers).

The one that I know works well is WSO Pro. But it's not robust enough for me for what I'm trying to do. I've heard 1shoppingcart and Infusionsoft might be an option but I have not confirmed that yet.

Can anybody suggest other ones and tell your experience?

Atweber have a List Option to change the "double opt in" into "single opt in".

This doesn't do anything when you're working with a parser - parsers always will send a confirmation email, no matter what you have it set on.

Yep, it's aweber policy, no shopping cart will get you round that.

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

This is also not true. Have you ever used WSO Pro?

WSO Pro I believe uses the web form, not the email parser, see here: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ml#post2886773

I am not sure how it does this exactly without the user actually filling in the webform - if it's prepopulating the webform or simulating a webform POST submission in some way then it would be breaking the aweber rules. I am not saying it is (can't remember from last time I bought through it), just saying it WOULD be.

I don't think so. I talked to aweber about this a while ago when I was receiving my heartbreak about the parser and he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it.

Also, I bought something from somebody who I believe was using Infusionsoft and I don't remember clicking a confirmation link, though I saw an email from them today.

I'm thinking this is possible, I just need somebody who has cared about it and done it to confirm.

Infusionsoft will allow you to add people to your buyer
list without requiring them to confirm - assuming that
you'll be using Infusionsoft for the autoresponder too.

Their e-mails will get sent from the single opt-in server
though - rather than the double opt-in server blocks
                of Infusionsoft.

However, note that Infusionsoft have re-introduced
their set-up fee which is now $1,500 and the all-in-one
shopping cart, autoresponder and affiliate managment
                is $299/month.

                  I see.

$1500 just to get in? OUCH!

DLGuard has a parser for AWeber but all buyer e-mail
addresses need to be sent a confirmation e-mail too.

It is my understanding that this is a strict requirement
of AWeber in their Terms of Service.

They want to have a fully traceable audit path for every
new subscriber - together with their IP address. Many
of the auto-add scripts use the IP address of the server
instead of the buyer's IP address.

    Hey David,
You can probably pay somebody to write a script for your existing shoppingcart that does a singleoptin for Aweber via parsing. I use the same cart you use...I struggled through the whole thought process also, and ended up going with GetResponse instead of changing carts.

    2 Main Reasons:
    1) You can submit a tech support request and have GR change their email parsing to be single optin on the buy.
    2) You can manually add people if you ever do a live seminar/attend live events, etc. Up to 50 per day.
I know you like Aweber...but I found GR to be just as good for my purposes, yet provide the flexibility I needed.

    Just some thoughts...

      Brandon,

Yea after looking into this more, I found both these solutions - the script and GetResponse. I'm not sure what I will go with yet but somebody with a massive list told me he was getting more than double that CTRs with GR than he was with Aweber - that may be impetus I need to switch.

it's funny you mention that...maybe because I've been finding Calvin Woon's emails in my spam folder recently...and I think he's powered by aweber, if I'm not mistaken.

For me personally...I had bounced back and forth between icontact, aweber, and GR for...months...wanting to find the one with best deliverability, best web forms, single optin, email parsing through "the cart provider", etc. Icontact...you can add your dog to them...seriously. They'll take anything, but they don't have any automation rules...and their webforms suck. The parsing was a killer with Aweber...because...man...I just love NC and am not going to give it up. So...went with GR and find it to be a nice blend.

Anyway...wanted to also let you know...picked up EMR from you about 2 weeks ago or so....maybe 3. Awesome stuff in there. Well worth the $47 I laid down.

        Take care....keep on rockin' David.

I use 1ShoppingCart and it does not require the Double Optin. It is less than Infusionsoft, but still expensive at $120/month. But, it does have shopping cart integration which I love.
