Hello Guys,
Right now i would like to have your opinion regarding spinchimp vs thebestspinner. I had spinchimp from WSO's here, the price tag is cheaper than thebestspinner. It also have the same concept as thebestspinner regarding user generated database.

The dillema comes when i will get special offer from the best spinner for $47/year... hope someone who had ever try both software could give me some overview how the pro and cons from this two software
#spinchimp #thebestspinner

I have used both and prefer SpinChimp. The interface is much nicer and it is a breeze to use, oh and the price is right.

I have both as well and prefer Spinchimp ten times over the best spinner. It costs less, it is much faster and easier to use and gets better results than tbs.

I haven't used The Best Spinner. Have heard nothing but wonderful things about it. However, I always thought that interface looked sort of "clunky" for my taste.

I have used SpinChimp and oh boy did I love it! It took me no time to figure out how to use it. Really intuitive interface.

SpinChimp is still sort of "new" so the synonym database might not be as big as TBS, but it works the same way so it will keep growing as more people use the program and input their own synonyms.

I don't really use too many of the synonyms that the program suggests for you. You have to remember these are merely tools to help us out. They can't really detect the best way to use a word or what the intended use for a word is within a sentence. No spinner can. This is why I like building my own list of favorites and spend time manually going through the entire article. SpinChimp makes this really easy.

I must be in the minority. I'm a long time The Best Spinner user and I recently bought Spin Chimp to check it out. I absolutely hated the user interface and found it took me a lot longer to generate readable articles than it did with TBS. I found it particularly awkward to add words to the database in Spin Chimp.

The one-click options in both programs are pretty useless if you want text that's indistinguishable from that written by a human, but I found I was able to go through articles on a word by word or phrase by phrase basis much more quickly with TBS.

YMMV, of course. Why not try them both?

Another vote for SpinChimp here. Love the interface, the fact that you can split up your protected words by project and support is outstanding. Excellent price too. And it is FAST and constantly updated, not that connection is necessary...

another vote for spinchimp. Only spinning I really do is total sentence rewriting and find it more intuitive.

i mite aswel throw my pennies in the sand. i havent used the best spinner. but i have spin chimp on my computer, the reasons why spin chimp out ranks the best spinner in my opinion: the tool dash board is easy to navigate around. i am not a great fan of just press spin button. you can add in own sentences, paragraphs, great forum, lock your keyword before you start editing also have your html coding in there. whoever has used the best spinner after reading this im sure the next comment will be "the best spinner can do all that aswel and more" if that is the answer..... well... spin chimp IS MUCH CHEAPER. more than 50%. in my opinion there is no competition.

    Cheers

  • Hi! I don't use any of them yet and this is why I came and read this useful post. It seems SC wins but a drawback is that I cannot use it with WPRobot while I can with TBS. Any suggestions here?

Sorry, old thread...but Spinchimp has a very odd behaviour. (I actually already put in a ticket and pointed this out since in my opinion this is a significant bug, so significant actually that we are not able to use Spinchimp here at the moment).

The problem is that it doesn't "find" words anymore after a previous sentence spin. We usually do our spins in two runs...FIRST we do sentences, then we do the words.

If there is a block of sentences like {this is sentence one|this is sentence two|this is sentence three} and i go back to the beginning and want to do the words now, in most cases the cursor just jumps over the whole part in brackets.

The other "issue" is that i find it very odd that i cannot "jump" from one sentence to the other by cursor quickly...respective that the arrows for "sentence jumping" are very, very small. I was looking through the doc a few times but i have not found a keyboard shortcut to jump through sentences.

I have the impression that SC is *basically* a very good spinner but it is lacking in regards to sentence spins ..and things like inability to find words within already spun sentences should not happen. Makes me believe that the testers must either use a totally different way of spinning than what we do here....or that people in general don't give sentence spins too much attention and people only do word spins or auto-spins where such problems wont be obvius (at first). But it's important for us.
