What "really" works??

I'm so tired of over-hyped sales pages, promises of easy income. I'm not a newbie to the internet, I've been building sites for over 10 years now. I earn fairly well with my web design business, but I desire to have sites that earn well, so I can take breaks more.

I've built a site using the SiteBuildIt system - and the site (I've since moved to WordPress) does okay. It's a rather large site, but the topic is too saturated, and the Adsense isn't worth as much as it was at one time.

So I've started trying other systems.

I've tried the Adsense $100K Blueprint - on a site back in November. Still not doing anything.

I've tried the Amazonian Profit Plan - in December. Still not one sale.

I've tried more recently a small hand full of Google Sniper sites - I've had ONE sale since I put those in place.

And yes, I've followed their "traffic building" instructions.

I want to know - is there a system out there that really works - that really makes good money, like the sales page claims.

I'm all ears! Ready to take action on something that will WORK. Any recommendations?

    Step1: Master one traffic source.

    Paid or Organic?
    • Paid: PPC, PPV, Media Buys
    • Organic: SEO

    Step2: Pick a niche.
    • Easy PPC competition for Paid traffic.
    • Easy SEO competition if you're going for organic traffic.

    Step3: Optimize.
    • Tweak your website until you're profitable.

    Step4: Profit.

Now looking at your post I see the reason you failed is because you picked the wrong niche (too saturated, too much competition, not enough volume etc).

Improve on that and you WILL make money online.

      Thanks Clyde.

I built WebMidWife site 10 years ago - so I'm NOT interested in making it into a huge site. It's just a spot to house my services - but I'm referring to other means that doesn't require me to sell my services. New sites - new systems - that work - that doesn't take months and months or years to build up.

    Hi Lori,

I definitely understand the frustration. You mentioned you have 'Adsense $100k Blueprint" and put up a site in November. Have you followed through on link-building?

Also, are you on the forum? We'd love to help you make your Blueprint site a success, especially if you've already went to the effort of reading the course and building your site.

If you've followed the plan in terms of your niche & keyword research, it pretty much comes down to your content & backlinking campaign. If your willing to let us help you, there's no reason you shouldn't have success.

If you haven't joined the forum and would like to 'revisit' A100k as something that really does work, PM me and I'll get you set up.

    Michael

I think there are a lot of systems that work. It seems that you are looking for some kind of passive income. I mean, you build a site promoting something, you drive traffic to it (mostly from Google) and you make sales, right?

I don't know the specific systems you mention above but I can tell you that the niche site models works (selling Amazon products or digital products or whatever).

If it is not working for you, it might be because you are doing something wrong. Sometimes we follow a system, but fail at implementing it (we choose the wrong keywords, or the wrong product, or whatever).

    My suggestion here is:

    - First try to figure out why you are not making money (are you not ranking well? are you not getting traffic even if you are well rankied? do you get traffic but no sales?...)

    - Once you identify the problem, look for the solution. For example, if you are not ranking you might need more backlinks; if you get no traffic, you might be ranking for a keyword with low searches or you need to change the title and description of your page; if you have traffic but no sales, take a look at your site -the copy, the design, the products you promote)

    Hope it helps.

Look at the top marketers who are
      making money.

      Model what they are doing.

Find a successful marketer and try
to get them to coach you.

That is how I made my greatest leaps.

And no, I do not have a coaching program.

Just trying to give you some tips to get on
      track.

Pick a market and build a list.

      Hope that helps...

The best long term system is staring you in the face. Instead of buying those courses, create your own and go from there. It's a good enough system to make plenty of people a high six figure, or even seven figure a year paycheck. Buying courses won't make you money, selling them does.

I think you hit the nail on the head!

Maybe I should make sites either selling my own courses - or selling these courses through affiliate links.

Thanks for all the responses - I'm taking some action now.:p

I've tried more recently a small hand full of Google Sniper sites - I've had ONE sale since I put those in place.

I've had good luck with Google Sniper sites. It's a numbers game. You've got to get traffic, and only a small percentage of those visitors are going to buy. I've built 15 in the past month. About half have generated at least one sale. Most are ranking well for their chosen keywords.

Try building 50 Google Sniper sites. Or 100. Build a couple a week. Build them on a variety of different topics, because you never know which ones are going to be successful. Sometimes the results are surprising. Try to avoid Sniper sites built around Clickbank products due to the ease of refunds. I'm doing OK with CPA offers instead. Keep at it. See if you're making money in three to six months.

Look for weird, offbeat, niche products to promote. There are a lot of products with way too much competition, and anything that immediately comes to mind probably qualifies.

I don't mean to sound condescending, but this business requires a lot of work and a lot of tolerance for failure. The bulk of what you do isn't going to work. Get used to that.

Fortunately, domain names are cheap. Good luck.

i would take up michael's offer above re: adsense 100k blueprint. join the forum, have them take a look at what you did and see if you can turn it successful. probably will be a valuable learning experience - have nothing to lose and maybe a lot to gain ($$)

I would second that. Build on Michael's offer and get back into something you know well (or should do) and find out what needs fixing.

      Good luck.

I'd also be careful of buying into the hype with some product launches, that you can basically use a system, it doesn't require much work, and you can make loads of money.

The most successful people tend to be those who work the hardest, and put the hours in, and enjoy doing so.

Even people like Frank Kern, who kind of sell the idea that they don't do a great deal to earn a lot, actually work incredibly hard, but the persona is created to help the sale.

      I would tend to agree.

I recently booked into a live Webinar, and even though Frank Kern left early, (they used his name and brief presence to get bookings) l was still able to ask Anik a few question.

One of the questions was should a newbie work on a list first or push a product. I got a resounding - work on your list first.

I also heard that if you have a list of 5000, you will probably get 800 of them that click on most or all of your emails, and buy something.

Ramsey, l currently have an SBI site, which l am applying 100K blueprint to, with positive results. Go to the 100K post on these forums to read what improvements have happened since l have started applying this.

P.S. there may not be big shortcuts about but there are certainly plenty of small ones.
