alternative to market samuai

Hi All,
I recently had a trial run with market samurai and it had a lot of teething problems. Suffice to say I didn't buy afer the initial trial!

Can someone recommend a a piece of software that does a similar if not better job? How good is Micro Niche Finder for example? Does it do a similar job?

    Actually I own both. When they were first purchased they were excellent. I would not recommend any of these 2. I am on the hunt also for a good keyword tool.

    I'm in the same boat. I use Market Samurai all the time but since they retired the SEOTC and SEOUC features and since Google removed the Trends data from the Google Keyword Tool, I have not been getting great results. The tool is better than doing everything manually but has become a pain in the you-know-what. I've heard some buzz about a product called Semrush but I can't speak to it's effectiveness. Might be something to check out though.

    You do realize that they made the changes because Google changed the way they allow searches right? Sheesh. Getting tired of people slagging what is a good tool. We're all at the mercy of the Big G.

    For me Google Adword tool is the best and most accurate one only you should know how to use it. By the ways have you tried Traffic Travis (www.traffictravis.com) it is a free tool by Mark Ling.

    What about using SEMRush, it's two times cheaper than Market Samurai, and researching competitors service is similar to MS. I think this tool - is what you need.
