Head to head - EasyMember Pro vs WP Champ vs Profits Theme

I really want to integrate a very simple Membership Site into my website. I'm talking like something that, when you order on Clickbank, you get logon credentials and a URL, and you can go to that one page within my site which would house links for all the products and videos.

I am currently using OptmizePress, and, I realize that if I get one of these, I may end up having to use a different theme, and I'm ok with that as long as I can get the sales page look that I can with Optimize Press.

So, these three options are the ones I like best - EasyMember Pro, WP Champ, and Profits Theme.

They are all pretty much the same price, and have somewhat similar features.

What are your thoughts/suggestions for me?

My goals are to have a clean and nice looking sales page and membership page that's pretty easy to install and maintain, and works well with Clickbank.

What say you?

    I use Profits Theme.

    The great thing about it is it has membership functionality built in.

    It allows you to protect content, protect download areas and drip content.

    You can make sales pages, squeeze pages, blog pages, legal and terms of use pages as well as perform launch sequences.

    I'm not very familiar with Easy Member Pro but from what I understand it's not a theme. It's a membership script. If you use it you'll still need a theme.

    WP Champ builds themes but as far as I know not membership scripts. So you'll still need a membership script.

    ProfitsTheme can do both.

        I havent looked at the others. But I like WP Member Champ because it can be set up in minutes, works with aweber, and works with WSO Pro. Plus I can use it with any of my Woothemes.

    I don't know about Easy Member Pro but...
    Member Champ is a plugin which allows you to integrate a membership platform into your Theme. (Protects pages, content. Allows payment through paypal, i think has AR support etc. It's a simple membership option while easy to use.)

    Optimize Press is a great theme, sales pages,squeeze pages, launches, OTO's, sales graphics and recently Blog functionality...

    Profits Theme does all that maybe not as good in some areas but also has great blog functionality plus a very good membership script built in, protects content, one time sales, diff membership levels, easily to customize etc. (and improving all the time)
    Really it's like a Swiss army knife for IM'ers.

    But now that I searched Profits Theme I realize how so many warriors were complaining about some of the functions not working? You can read the thread here: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...61-hrs-10.html

      Yeah, ProfitsTheme had some issues during the launch. In fact, they pulled it from the market to work out the technical glitches then relaunched it a few weeks later.

      It's a great theme that can accomplish a lot.

      I highly recommend it.

        I think the OP was referring to Jason Fladlien's WPMemberChamp the plugin not WP Champ the Theme.

        Agreed i have been using Profits Theme for a new project, it's been great so far and i have not had any problems yet. The membership function may not be as developed as DAP, Wishlist, Amember or others but it's good enough and easy to setup.

    How hard is it to integrate a Clickbank Than You page into Profits Theme? I'd like to set it up so the thank you page goes to a page where the person who buys can get their logon info, and then get directed to the membership portion of my site.

    Is that the way you do it? Is it hard to do?

      Profit Theme does all this for you, you just have to setup the respective member pages and select in what sequence you like to accomplish the signup process.

      It works great for me until now.

      I don't have any of the other themes/plugins but have a problem NON of these could solve till now (asked support).

      I would like to have a FORUM as membership, and till now I could not resolve this.

      If anyone could tell me how to make a private forum (like War Room) with AUTOMATIC CUSTOMER PERMISSION and RECURRING charges I highly appreciate the help.

        If you want to integrate with clickbank, WP member champ is probably the simplest option. Once you get a product approved on clickbank it takes about 2-4 minutes to integrate it with clickbank.

        Actually here is all you need to set:

        Yep just your secret key (which you set it inside clickbank) and then you just take your instant notification URL and your thank you URL and put those in the appropriate fields in clickbank. That's it!

        Did you ever find this out? Does wpmemberchamp have this ability, also? I'm really interested to find this out. @Jason Fladlien, can you please let us know if a forum of some/any kind can be made membership only using your plugin? Thanks very much!

    I see that wpmemberchamp supports subscription payments when using paypal. does it also support subscription/recurring payments through clickbank?
