Email-List.com... tell me what you think!!!

Tell me what you think. Have you bought from them? Have you sent emails out and gotten good conversions? Is it worth me saving up, to buy? Is it atrocious?

Let me know. I've done so many things lately and they've all been busts except ebay. (Made about 300 dollars in a week of being 16).

So please, let me know what you think about Email-List.com

Again, I need to know if I were to buy the 99,000 list, adn then send out mass emails about some of my affiliate links, would they convert well or not?

Think of it like this....if you had your details on one of those lists that was being sold to hundreds or thousands of people...you would have changed your details by now (especially the email address).

I would assume that if you bought one of them and sent out an email then you would have a huge bounce rate and would be lucky to have anyone even open your email. You will just be buying a bunch of dead email addresses that the owners don't use anymore due to spam.

If you want a list, make one yourself

True. But are you trying to say that 90,000 people would change their email address just for getting on an email list? I don't think so. That's an extreme amount.

If I were you, I wouldn't go that route. It's best you take that money and invest it in a course on list building/email marketing.

You are much better off that way. Your list will be targeted and you can build up a good relationship with them and make more money in the long run.

Well, try it and prove me wrong then Your money not mine!

If there was actually money to be made in those lists then they would not be selling them...especially at such a low price. If they were selling those lists for thousands of dollars each then they would probably be worth buying.

My understanding is that you can't buy e-mail lists. I mean you can, but they definitely don't convert, at all.

However, if you actually build a list of 90,000 subscribers yourself, you would have one hell of a goldmine

Heck even 9k, list...if you didnt ruffle their feathers...and if you created nice report and trust with them...that 9k would be enough to quit your job.

STAY AWAY. Persoanlly i would use the money to hire somebody to talk with you for an hour or so and get some education on the subject, dont take a short cut.

No i am not talking about hiring me, but i am sure there are a lot of people on here who could help you.

Couldn't have put it better. And it's the truth. Don't go through a list broker companies for leads. You're better of advertising or legit free marketing that goes straight to your squeeze page. Yes it may take a while to see results... but what's the rush? Would you rather be earning $1,500/month 3 years from now.... or continue to send out emails to 473,094 people on your email list who suck and will never exist?

I guess my question is: how are you going to email a list you buy? I thought many autoresponders didn't let you add lists that you purchased elsewhere?

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

  • I think you have no relationship with that list. You are better off having 1000 people with a relationship on your own list then 90,000 from a spam list, just my 2 cents.

firstly that list isn't tagerted and it's illegal

A friend of mine also brought 1.2 million email address for $64, seem to good to be true? that's because it was, an example email he got was 122344345356346476567568658@hotmail.com, he sent out a email anyway and not one click. Don't fall for it!

Probably entirely worthless, but if it's super cheap and you have a squeeze page that converts at a high rate, you might eek out a few new subscribers of your own if you get even a handful of clicks from it. That's the only use I can imagine from that kind of service. But there are cheaper ways to build your own list unless that service is incredibly inexpensive. As others mentioned, you want your own list of people who expect emails from you and (if you do it right) who actually look forward to those emails.

When we say "the money is in the list," we don't mean places like the one you're asking about. We mean having your own permission-based list.

Don't do it! But that is my advice, you can follow it or not. Like said on this thread before, these lists are probably over used and the emails are not legit any longer.

Just invest your money in setting up your own targetted list in your own niche. Then purchase ad swaps with people that are in your niche as well. This to get even more targetted emails. A better way of investing then investing in an incoherent list.

They are the same owner as "datadepot.biz" STAY AWAY FROM THEM
Just Google search datadepot.biz and you will see page after page of scam reports and complaints on them... If you really want to get into mailing that's not the way to do it, there's people all over the internet selling bad list and if you get into it as a rookie, you will get burned. There's only few I know of that are legit.

My IM list is only about 2k and I wouldn't even consider selling it for 3 times what they are charging for 100k list!

These are spam emails.... They will not convert...

These people are getting spam from everyone (think viagra)...

Plus, no respectable AR is going to let you import that list and if you send from your own server you will likely get blacklisted in a heartbeat...

A better option for you is to spend about 1,000 bux on a 3,000 click Solo Ad! Send that traffic to a good converting squeeze page (at least 50%) and you should easily pick up 1000-1500 subs...

If treated right that list would be 100 times more valuable that any of the list at email-list.com...

Save your cash and spend it on REAL TARGETED LEADS!

Check out the JV sections for solo ads, also safe-swaps.com has a solo ad section, and soloaddirectory.com is another good source...

But you could always go against what all the experienced marketers are saying...

If you need help with list building I have products I will give you to help if it keeps you from buying a spam list... PM me if that interests you.
