I just got a email from them saying that they had run out of stock for approx. 400 buyers, including me.
as compensation, I will get 60 days free trial for the newsletter instead of 30 days.
i expect that I will get the package next week.

I got my package a few days ago.

I read through it a couple times, watched the videos, followed everything step-by-step.

Found what looks like a good CB product. Got my squeeze page made, set up an Adwords campaign like Trey said in the videos and book.

It was all quite simple. The Manual and videos really take you through the whole thing nicely.

I had everything set up and active, and was seeing some good PPC response. Woke up the next morning and checked things out, and found my self being slapped silly by Google.

I've read a bit about Adwords in the past but never felt I knew enough to really make it worth trying out. I guess I was right.

I Should have Looked through the monthly stuff first and tried the Ninja Cloaker.
I will next time.

Hmmm... wonder why.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Too mnany people are cuaght up in the hype, or looking for the next "big thing" al the while forgetting about the very important fact that direct response marketing really never changes.

The IM Gods must have seen my last post. Infomillionaire arrived via UPS this evening! BTW, yesterday I sent an email off to Frank and Trey asking about the delivery schedule and today they (or someone) sent a reply with a UPS tracking number. So, that's a good thing.

Now to the reading...

a very good product.

And the monthly news letter is worth sticking with too.

There is one problem i had though. to do with the postage tracking they said they would provide. they never did. was quite annoying because i had the package sent to an address of another family member of mine.

luckily i happened to visit when the package arrived so there was no serious issue.

overall a very good package and well worth it.

I received my pack just yesterday and went through it. I learned more from observing the launch process, upsells (what not to do), packaging, delivery of content (manual, newsletter, cdrom, cd). Most people here would know what is being taught but most people in general would have no idea.

The course content is actually pretty good. There was at least 5 things or little tricks that most people would miss or may not know so overall it is a great investment.

Frank is doing what a good marketer wants... sell stuff so it's great to be a part of the process. Great education especially at the price.

Frank also says to teach what you know and anyone can apply his IM teaching techniques into any niche. That's quite powerful really.

Sure I didn't learn much from the infomiollinaire material but I did learn heaps going through the process. I am a happy customer and will continue to subscribe to newsletter.

In an earlier post, I mentioned that I wasn't going to continue each month and was worried that I wouldn't be able to cancel.

Anyway, after a slightly nervous delay in getting a reply, I did receive an email confirming my cancellation.

So they have done what was promised, so well done to them.

Very basic course content. Presented well. It was good to have a look at the course, but I have to say that I think I got more from the launch process.

Personally, I probably won't continue the subscription because I am overwhelmed with 'stuff' at the moment and can't justify one more thing on the pile.

This course has the potential to make money IF you work it.

Yes I have!
The package arrived a few days ago but it's been stuck at the toll something because they don't know how much to charge me for bringing it in because they don't know how much it's worth, but anyways I just called them and they are sending it to my house tomorrow! Great service! But yeah the package has been stuck because of some missing information on the package, sucks. (I'm not in the US or UK)

I must have been lucky as I got the package on Christmas eve. I'd agree it's basic but I thought overall it was pretty good nonetheless. I do question the adwords to simple squeeze page strategy due to quality score issues. But that can be worked around by adding more to the squeeze.

I am wondering about continuing with the subscription. I thought it was OPTIONAL and would not continue unless I authorized it?

Not optional! You'll need to e-mail the support team to get it canceled if you want it to be.

Frank tried his best and was very helpful, but basic information is just not going to get you anywhere theses days. It would be like hyping up and selling a seo book from 1999 and then expecting it to work in 2009. The basics never change, but they are not going to get you into profit either.

Imagine if current professional athletes used only the basic training information from the 1950s. They just would not stand a chance.

I think your little brother Thomas is probably a genius and can see through things very quickly. He is probably not making any money because he is focused on the wrong thing. Anybody who focuses on making money with a website will usually fail. People who succeed are the ones who want to help people solve a real problem by using a website.
I agree!

To many people think that if they just get a web site and get on line they will become rich.

It just doesn't work that way. You have to build up your list and you have to want and love to do what your doing.

You have to put some effort into it. I always said, that when I quit my job that I hated years ago, that Internet Marketing was what I loved to do. It's fun.

Isn't it fun to make money from home. Hell yeah it's fun.

So why not get out there and show others how to do it to. But if they don't have the desired to really stick it out for the long haul they will fail, just like the other tire kickers!

Got my copy in the UK a couple of days ago.

It was promoted as a beginners guide with more advanced stuff coming through on the newsletter.

First impressions are favourable as it takes things nice and simple but I will be doing a proper review for my OP blog.

So I read through the whole thing in 45 minutes, it basically is for beginners: how to create a clickbank account, find hosting, software to use to create sites (dreamweaver, ftp etc.) how to create an AdWords account...

I can't really complain since it was free minus shipping, I did order the custom software with resell rights though, I'm just curious if I ClickBank would allow me to promote a software I have resell rights to (if I create my own selling page etc.)

Essentially I have the html and code, and it doesnt mention InfoMillionaire outside of the initial help file, so in theory I could just rebrand it as my own product and promote it on ClickBank, no?

Or if I'll just have to promote it myself via AdWords, SEO, and using DL Guard to deliver it? Anyone know? (I know I cant sell the software in the WSO Forum :-[ )

Dexx, a reseller of mine is promoting through Clickbank. No problem for her. I am not promoting through Clickbank so I don't know if more than one person can promote identical products at the same time.

Ah okay, good to hear Thomas!

I'm thinking it wouldnt so much be identical, outside of the feature the software does.

If I brainstorm a different ways of selling the product, and re-package it user Cover Action Pro etc.

Could make for some quick products to get out there! I'll give it a spin this weekend maybe see what happens hehe

A few to do's as a marketer

connect with the customer in a manner that is in no way confronting

provide a story with social proof or evidence of some sort. in this case it was Trey's old workmate who followed Trey's instructions and had great results.

ensure the customer feels that it won't be too hard to understand and follow

provide an upsell/downsell

provide good quality content and 'actually' over deliver

if possible it's a great idea to provide ongoing monthly content with a subscription that is not too expensive.

provide offline tangible product to increase value

What not to do as a marketer...

sell such a product over the holiday period which causes potential delays for some customers

go too heavy on the upsell/downsell

provide software that wasn't tested properly

make the videos too long

I wasn't really ready but I actually tested a tactic and it worked to gain a few subscribers to my free success course which later generated approx. $40 in sales without spending too much time or energy and only $7 in adwords.

Once I upgrade my site i plan to invest at least $20 a day on the tactics in this course. And if it proves successful I will simply increase budget.

True, i understand the info is out there but for the average internet user looking at making money online, they don't know where to start. There is too much info.

Frank and Trey providing this extremely inexpensive product that is well packaged is great.

It's all relative. If you have time to look around for this info and test it yourself then that's great and probably the best way to go. But most people are lacking time and have very limited time for internet usage especially research and testing etc.

To have an opportunity to be part of Franks sales process at such a low cost is fantastic. In my case it's not what he's selling but how he sells it and how he rolls with it on a monthly basis. Incredible learning opportunity.

I bought his first course that he ever put out. Infact I still use it daily.

From his business Mining Gold Corporation.

It came with some CD's called Internet Marketing Spy Videos by Frank Kern and Shawn Casey. (Very good stuff)

A Binder product by Jeff Paul called "Instant Profit Marketing-101 Secrets To A Six-Figure Income!"

3 floppy disks, who used that any more. LOL!

A second Binder called "Jeff Paul's March 1998 Direct Response Marketing Success Two Day Boot Camp" this was 12 cassettes, who use these any more either. LOL

But I still use the written stuff!

Haven't seen the product yet but I bet there are hundreds of people who will pass it off as "too basic", yet they're not making a dime online.

Hmmm... wonder why.
Well said Kyle. I'm certainly a newbie, but if Kern can show me how HE does things in a basic way. I'll do it.

I ordered late and am supposed to get my package today according to the tracking number.

I'll post back when I've played with it a bit.

Amazing lack of concern on Frank and Trey's part...no package yet and no response to my emails. This is one more bad joke played out by rich fools with nothing better to do I guess.

The product is great...if you follow through with all the steps. Well worht the price!

As for the monthly newsletter part, I would have to say they could have put a little more effort into it...well, I mean it does come with a cd and all, but, wait, oh its only a PDF of the newsletter. I believe we call this a Box Of Crap.

Its been a few weeks since people have received their products, so the obvious question is does this system work? I am trying it once I get my hosting back up but hopefully it can provide me with some consistent income. Ill post back in a few days when I get things running.

OF COURSE it's "Basic Info"!

Why would you stay on for the continuity if he gave you the whole deal all at once?

I bet they do create a clickbank course as part of the monthly. Frank does something like that with Mass Control Monthly where he basically just shows you what he's doing behind the scenes.

Like for the Mass Control Giveaway launch his Monthly content basically took you through the launch process with him, and he shows you WHY he does what he does in his marketing and how to do it.

It's cool as hell.

I got the same deal. I just got mine yesterday and I've gone through all of the videos. Solid stuff, but it is definitely for newbies.

I'll update in a few weeks with my progress.

Its not a really a matter of "does it work"

every internet marketing book ever created contains the same information, they just took out any fancy strategies or techniques and go over the basics.

How to setup clickbank
How to setup a basic website
How to to setup an autoresponder

etc.

Toss in a couple php scripts to simply link cloaking and pre-sell page creation and voila

A free guide to making millions with a connected monthly subscription to equally basic information.

Basically its great and simple information for those just starting out, but advanced people might be bored...

the fact is, if you follow the basic steps you'll see success.

Just like losing weight -> No pills, powders, etc. -> Just More Calories than you take In.

It's almost a month later and I haven't received it yet.

I got the same email that there were only 4,000 printed and I was one of the 383 'extras' that got forgotten.

Anyways, I still haven't received a tracking number and will probably end up cancelling.

I'm not going to freak out for $9.95 but I wonder why they don't just email me the pdf of the darn thing.

I Don't even know how to ask for a refund.

Geez, nothing yet huh!? You know what I think it is - it's not just one source selling this Infomillionaire thing. It's a bunch of affiliates. So, if it's a bunch of affiliates, it's also a bunch of affiliates acting as the customer service. If that's really the case, then my assumption is not all affiliates work equally to satisfy the customer.
I was going to order this myself and before I did, I e-mailed in a question to see if the software provided was Mac compatible. I didn't get a response. That's not a good thing. Imagine the response I would get if I wanted to cancel the up-sell on the monthly charges!?
Yeah, can anyone reading this say if the software,e.g., Ninja', and so on - Mac compatible?

I have emailed and tried to use Customer Support already twice. No answer, no response, nothing.

(though they did have a fancy page that said how top notch the service would be and that you would be handled by a REAL human, not just a robot.)

...uh, at this point I would settle for a friendly robot.
