Well, you took my quote out of context completely. I don't think the course is bad at all, and in my opinion, anyone that complains about spending 10 bucks on this package has no business being in IM. For 10 bucks, you get to see a Kern launch, some good tools, a beginner's manual, several videos, and a newsletter with some great sales copy tips.

I fail to see how it is a bad deal? I've paid more for some WSO's here that haven't delivered half as much value.

In regards to the question about Deiss and Belcher, the Get Cash from Google course goes into more detail, but they both show several methods for how to get a great quality score (by splitting up your landing pages and marketing). I just think Kern is more of a marketing guy, while Belcher and Deiss are more technical.

Second that, it's where I learned many of my adwords skills/tricks to date. Might have been a bit high priced though, but nonetheless still good.

yes I did, sorry about that, I just wanted to make a point that you have to VERY carefull who you seek advice and mentoring from these days, even very well know gurus can give you poor advice if it will make them a quick buck

example, I just got an email from Brad Fallon telling me Google Shadow was a "good one" via an affiliate link, can you believe it!

I apologize if I did not make that clear enough... Once you notice that the niche got traffic and converted, instructions were to make your own version of that product and ditch the ninja cloaker.

But regardless, I DID NOT KNOW it was against the Adwords ToS.

I would absolutely NEVER promote anything agains the ToS of any company (don't do black hat stuff) and as soon as we found out about this we immediately pulled it from the course.
Sorry Trey but I have caught you out in a lie!

To start with, I was quite unbelieving that someone of your experience would not know that redirecting traffic sent from Adwords ads was against Google's ToS.

I finally got the video evidence after reading your infomillionaire quality score checklist.

You mentioned the clickbank link hack, not knowing what this was, I looked it up on google. I clicked a link to your site nicheninjas where there was a videopost dated July 01 2008 where you state clearly on camera that redirecting traffic sent from Google was a practice that they had banned 2 months earlier.

If anyone wants to see the video it is also on youtube - just search for clickbank link hack.

If you knew about Google's stance on redirects back in early May 2008 why release software in Infomillionaire that violates their ToS?

It really is just too easy to say in this forum that you didn't know your software violated google's ToS and that it was an honest mistake, but clearly you did know back in May 2008.

Kinda reminds me of how useful the 'Wayback machine' is
when a company denies what is stated in their own TOS or similar.

Of course, they tell you to check their website as proof
(where it's been conveniently altered to support their argument)

Enter the 'Wayback Machine' to provide the version of their website
that you were referring to (during the time in question, etc., etc.)

Hey dude,

In that video I was talking about REDIRECTS (i.e. sending someone straight to your affiliate link) not sending them to a cloaked page.

And actually since then, I have found out that redirects are OK. They just only allow one domain per keyword (i.e. you can only use one clickbank.com domain for each keyword). Learned that from Tim who was in the last issue of Yanik's Maverick Monthly.

As I've mentioned, I was using the Ninja Cloaker myself with success when I wrote the material. It was seriously an honest mistake!

I mean think about it... I would have absolutely NO advantage in trying to pull a fast one here. Obviously I want people to make GOBS of money using this system so they stay customers.

As I've already stated, we've pulled that from future versions of the course.

While we're at it... for the record:

I did NOT go against the whole infomillionaire manual in my quality score checklist.

The quality score checklist is intended for people to use AFTER they have already found a successful niche online using other methods like the clickbank link hack, landing page generator, ninja cloaker on yahoo... or one of the MANY other ways we'll be teaching people in the next few months (review pages, blogs, prosper, etc).

See, here's the "big secret" and how I pulled in over $5,000,000 online doing this just a few years:

1. I tested MANY niches.

2. Because I tested many niches, I found HOT ones with large amounts of converting traffic.

3. I dropped the ones that weren't making much or any money, and focused SOLELY on the big winners.

4. I ramped those up in multiple ways that we go over in Infomillionaire Monthly (massive Content Network campaigns, quality score checklist for search network, other traffic sources, etc)

If you did that whole quality score checklist for any niche you were *thinking* about getting into, then you simply would be wasting a ton of time.

I go over all of this in the infomillioniare monthly newsletter this month (where that checklist came from). I just didn't post that all here because well... it was supposed to be for members only

Who do you think will make more money:

A) The person that spends A BILLION hours testing a few niches.

B) The person that spends A FEW hours testing TONS of niches and ramps up the successful ones.

The answer is at the bottom of this post

Thanks,

Trey

Trey, I am getting no response whatsoever from the Infomillionaire support system you have in place.

I have sent 3 requests to cancel my monthly subscription, all of which have gone unanswered.

I wouldn't even be posting this on here but it seems the only way to get anyone involved to take care of something that should be a very simple process.

This is getting extremely frustrating.

Like a million other people have said in this thread, just provide an easy way out on something like this. Don't treat your customers like trash.

Can you please cancel the memebership immediately and provide a status as to when this is done. I would rather not have to go down the chargeback route with my Card and hope you can resolve whatever issue appears to be in place with your support system.

Default To be an infomillionaire

I am always fairly careful at purchasing new informational products. I usually spedn weeks trying to find as much free information as possible. This forum is full of it - in a good way. And yet there is always the need to tweak our information. Many times the free informations gives us the basis for better utilizing the paid information. Yet it can be disasterous when a product is launched too quickly. I am sure that all the bugs will be worked out.

(I also just forwarded your information over to my CS manager. She'll take care of you ASAP)

Thanks,

Eric,

Just got response back and we cancelled your request the day you sent it. An automated message was supposed to be sent to you. Maybe the email address is wrong. PM me your email address and I'll have support forward you the notifications (if you want them).

Trey, thanks a lot for the follow up. It is much appreciated. I don't have enough posts under my belt here to be able to PM you, but I've used a couple different email addresses and added two more support tickets today and still never saw any response.

In any event, as long as its been confirmed and taken care of I'm good. But if I see another charge on my card, I'm killing your dog.

Thanks again.

Haven't seen the product yet but I bet there are hundreds of people who will pass it off as "too basic", yet they're not making a dime online.

Hmmm... wonder why.
I'm glad you said something. You know its much more than just basics because it also teaches a system. The other thing I really liked is that they didn't fluff it all up with a bunch of confusing stuff...they kept it barebone simple for anyone to undertsand, use, and make money.

I recommend it.

Oh yeah...that was cool too. They were using a lot of mass control (ish) stuff. Another example of how Frank practices what he preaches!

I got it - some good stuff particularly with the cloaking and landing page software - and one or two other tricks. Some good - if occasionally basic - material but its clearly intended to cover all types - dummies like me through. Quite impressed so far.

You guys will not believe how dissapointed and upset I am about infomillionaire going from a magazine to a digital forum.

When the magazine and DVD was being mailed out, it was always of very good content, looked like Frank put some effort into this. I paid for a physical product, but ...they changed it to a forum!!

I visited the forum almost 2 months after because I did not know it was changed and what do I found out? they have some videos and some post that are OK, but not even close to what they were doing on the magazine.

Also, today I checked again and the last post on the forum was June 3. I used to get a magazine, monthly and with good content, now got a post on the forum done more than 6 weeks ago...

Trey, what is going on? is this another case of a marketer that works so hard to catch the customer but once you have me you do not care anymore?

am very dissapointed and not sure if anyone else feels the same or it is just me... I think I am cancelling my subscription and ask for my money back for not getting what I signed up for, a physical, monthly magazine with a DVD

That's exactly what happened. While you might be interested in receiving what you paid for, these guys have moved on to bigger and better things. All of these top tier marketers are using the micro continuity model to some extent. Some are following up with quality products, others are not.

Frank Kern andTrey Smith market to beginners and take advantage of the inexperince and hope of newbies trying to make money. Its not a knock on them, because how can you knock a business model thatis making them tons of cash.

With everything you get from these guys you can expect a high price tag, a whole lotta hype, and not much follow through after the launch. It's all about raking in big profits at launch time, the profits after that are minimal. That's why the newsletter is changed, there isn't any money in it for them anymore.
