Yeah, I managed to get my order in just before it closed. When I went back to watch the video again it was sold out. When it arrives I'll post back.

I got the package I believe it is about entering into a niche and creating a product/sales funnel.

I'll know more after it arrives!

An e-mail from J-Mo said that they are opening more spots once they have more created. The apparently didn't want to have people order more than they had on hand.

I love this time of year :)

A few thousand people ordered.

A few hundred people probably submitted tickets for something.

Sending multiple support tickets only slows down their response.

It's Christmas. Relax. Everyone will get their product.

Offline Consulting: Liz - $12,000 her first month... Anthony - $7000 + $594 per month...
{Confidential} - BIG up-front and $1000+ per month... Scott - $45,000 in 3 months!
Don't you deserve the same unfair advantage they do?

I also ordered and paid for shipping, didn't go for any of the OTOs either. And I expect it to be delayed too on account of the season.

I received my package today. It was shipped out of IL. Everything on the outside looks top notch. I doubt I'll be taking a look inside until the weekend. But I have received it complete with no mangled covers, discs etc.

Let's deconstruct the sales process so we can all learn from this launch. I don't have all of the details, but hopefully others will add to this until we dissect the entire system.

1. Self Executing Offer - "Free" offer, just pay shipping (at a markup, leaving a profit margin for the seller). Question, who fulfilled it and at what cost?

1a. Forced continuity program, monthly fee.

2. Cross-sell #1. "Lost" 14 videos from Underachiever II (in digital format).

3. Upsell #1. 7 pieces of software, with re-sale rights (One Time Offer).

3a. Downsell #1. 4 out of 7 pieces of software, no re-sale rights.

Upsell #2. ?

Anyone know the price points as well as any upsells or downsells that I missed?

I imagine that there were higher ticket items for those who accepted the cross-sell or upsell(s). Let us know!

Just got it today, great content for someone fairly new to IM like myself, 2 of the pieces of software that are hosted on their site are not working. I sent in a support ticket. Hopefully will get an answer soon. I did buy into one of the upsells, a monthly subscription. The product is certainly worth the $10. Not so sure about the monthly subscription yet. Only downside so far was they claimed they would send out a tracking link when the product shipped. Never got one. I know it might not seem like a big deal but in my book, don't tell your customer they are gonna get something and not do it, no matter how small. I know it may seem a bit anal but it's one of my pet peeves.

Got it today. took about an hour to read it. If you know nothing about Internet Marketing it's a great value.

All info is valid, but there's nothing in it that you couldn't find right here in the forum. PPC section will confuse and disorient most. The devil is in the details on PPC and most people won't get it from 20 pages or 4 20 minute videos, no matter how good. Keyword research area is good and probably the best info.

The monthly newsletter is more detailed and once again all the information is good advice. But once again it's nothing new, just basics. Start a memberships site, create affiliate program, make your landing page search engine friendly. They do tell you exactly how and provide good examples.

Good info for newbies, but if you're intermediate or above you already know most of the stuff.

I got my package yesterday. I skimmed some of the manual last night. It looks like a fairly good step-by-step guide to affiliate marketing (via Clickbank). The package comes with a CD that has videos, the manual in PDF format, and other tools/links. I found that a couple of the links for the tools did not work (one was for one of the MAIN tools they supplied).

I also did not buy any of the OTOs. As is common with many product launches now, you are automatically subscribed to a monthly program (unless you opt out within 30 days). They supplied the first month's newsletter and CD as well. I also found a broken link on one of the tools on that CD. I submitted support tickets for both items, but have not heard back on either one yet.

FYI, I also noticed that almost all of the products/services (Clickbank, web hosting, etc) that they recommend using are through affiliate links (hidden in a "framed" full page). Nothing inherently wrong with this - they are just using this as a way to generate more "back-end" sales too.

Yea, I bought the free shipping offer, but I didn't take any upsells. I got it today, and the manual looks really long, but I havent read it yet. It also came with a DVD and a CD-rom... but, I haven't checked those out either...

It's funny cus the day after Frank's launch, Mike Filsaime launched his free affiliate website with like the exact same model... (just not as much build up)

I actually got took both of them up on the free trial but, 39.99 for a newsletter? Kinda clowny in my book.

It took me 3 business days to get something from Amazon. I still didn't get this product which is almost 2 weeks since ordered.

I don't think it is a mailing problem.

Anyway, getting back to the basics is a good thing from time to time. Also being able to see how people setup things like their own keyword research or market research may add to your business. These things can always be improved upon.

This is a kid who's major accomplishment is having had me pay for 3 years of college for him and then flunking out, thus wasting 3 years of his life and a lot of my money. He's also tried to create several products online and has probably lost about $2000 or so doing it. So when I asked him what was wrong with the course he said "Well, it's not like these guys Trey and Frank are like Jack Welsch or something I could respect and besides I already know all that stuff, it's just the retarded basics"...and then it goes back to....your 25 years old and how much money have you made in your life not working for me or dad? Then his next objection was "Well it's not going to work for much longer anyway because they are selling it to like 10,000 people, so now we are going to have 10,000 people all trying to do the same thing on clickbank" I did not say anything, but I wanted to ask him if he means 10,000 like him? btw, for anyone worried about that point, my guess is that out the 10,000, that probably 2000 or 3000 never even leave the box. So that leaves 7000 that get used. Of those probably half the people will go through the course, that leaves 3500 used, lets just call it 3000. Then of those people probably only 10% ever "just do it" and half of those probably will think they are too smart to do it how Frank and Trey told them to do it and so they wont get a good result and they will give up and go away.
Frank was one of the faculty at Stompernet when I was a member and he was given the task of getting newbies reach $30 a day with their sites by using the system in infomillionaire.

After a few months people were outraged and angry in the forums because they did exactly what Frank told them to do, but yet did not make any profit.

Frank tried his best and was very helpful, but basic information is just not going to get you anywhere theses days. It would be like hyping up and selling a seo book from 1999 and then expecting it to work in 2009. The basics never change, but they are not going to get you into profit either.

Imagine if current professional athletes used only the basic training information from the 1950s. They just would not stand a chance.

I think your little brother Thomas is probably a genius and can see through things very quickly. He is probably not making any money because he is focused on the wrong thing. Anybody who focuses on making money with a website will usually fail. People who succeed are the ones who want to help people solve a real problem by using a website.

Hi,

I haven't gone through the whole DVD program yet, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the monthly newsletter.

I read it in about half an hour and it was very basic. I won't be continuing with this part.

Does anyone know how to unsubscribe from the monthly newsletter?

Whilst it will be good for beginners, it seems too basic for me. I am already doing 95% of what I read and doing fine. I just need to increase what I am doing.

Anyway, back to the grind stone...

So if anyone knows how to cancel this newsletter subscription please let me know. They don't exactly make it easy to cancel. I can't find any documentation or contact details on how to do this.

Help!!!

It depends on what those basics are. The bulk of this course is devoted to showing people how to buy hosting, sign up for Aweber, sign up for Adwords, using ftp, etc. I'm pretty sure the folks here complaining about it being too basic aren't being held back by those basic things. They likely already know how to do all of those.

Once you get past those things, the course can be summed up quite simply: Find a Clickbank product that sells, make your own version, sell it. The end. Little detail is given on how to do those things, so maybe when folks say it's too basic, what they really mean is it's too general, with too few details on how to do what it is they're telling you to do.

What would be ideal for a course of this nature would be an over the shoulder, practice what you preach tutorial/case study where they actually research and create a product, put it on the market and sell it. I remember Frank and Ed tried this in the Ultra Underachiever membership, but gave up because they couldn't make it work. I canceled my membership at that point, so don't know if they ever revisited the project and made it work or not.

All in all though, not a bad deal for $10 at all. I've already using the landing page generator to get that ten bucks back several times. It simplified something I was already doing, and anything that makes me more efficient is ok in my book.

Not really expecting anything groundbreaking, but I'll stick around for the next issue. What happens after that is up to them.

This is one of the worst products ever released. Shows you how out of touch Kern and Company have become and are just making a play to grab noobs (like every other dbag "guru")

Every single thing in here can be learned for free.

Amazing they don't tell you anything about Quality Score but tell you that you can run Adwords to a squeeze page by itself.

Kern hasn't run an Adwords campaign for years and made all his money with Clickbank in 2006 or earlier. Dude is completely out of touch now with what works since he gets 100% of his traffic from email and referrals.

Never trust ANYONE who made their money online by "doing" prior to June 2006.

I just received mine this morning and have to agree with the above posts about this course being basic and just containing info that is freely available online. I know the classic response to that is it saves you looking ... but in this case there is very little here you could actually act on without having to go and do more research yourself anyway.

I've gone through about half the videos and the main manual, and here are a few observations so far (note: haven't looked at the monthly component yet) :

1. A lot of people have made money with this model. Things are covered from a fairly high level, especially the PPC section. No complaints, since this isn't promoted as a advanced PPC course.

2. Trey recommends his choice for tools and then uses those in the course. The tools he recommends are great. All the links to the tools are of course affiliate links. Normal marketing here..... but it would be nice to offer other tools that are less expensive for the newbie as an alternative. For the recommended tools it should also be disclosed that you need to fork over about $1,100 in the first year (the most expensive tool is $400 after the first 30 days). Some of the tools have a free trial (from 7 days to 30 days). Of course if you pick the right niches + Clickbank products + setup your PPC campaigns correctly + have good copy on your opt-in page, you will make this up over time.

3. Surprised that they recommend disabling the double opt-in from aweber. Is that considered a best practice with lead capture to affiliate sites?

4. The Landing page generator software didn't work. I submitted a ticket. I'm sure this will be fixed in short order (looked like a missing or mis-named php file)

5. Are there any special considerations (from Google's perspective) in driving PPC traffic to a simple opt-in page (hosted on your domain) that then takes you to an Clickbank product?

All in all, Lots of good basic info (plus some PPC stuff that I guess goes a bit beyond basics for some). Anyone care to chime in on the questions above?

I got my package few days back. Everything in good order. The manual is almost 200 pages and I have already gone through 30% and it I think caters for newbies as it is very detailed in its steps.

What is most interesting and valuable is the squeeze page generator software which solves a big headache for me.

Not bad at all for $20 costs.

Kind regards

Haven't received mine yet either and I gotta say - it's really poor customer service. And speaking as a potential "student" it's also incredibly DE-motivating. Sort of puts the skids on the whole TAKE ACTION! thing if you know what I mean... Not to mention setting a bad example as to how to treat customers and “build a relationship” with them.

And spare me the whole "give 'em a break - it's the holidays" thing. Please. These are self-professed "Infomillionaires" who are supposed experts at product launches. One would think they had reliable printers, fulfillment houses, etc. on speed dial. Not to mention... CALENDARS. I mean, come on. They knew when they were rolling this out – it wasn’t done on a whim. It was done, at least in part to surf the “New Year - New Beginnings” wave that sells everything from Weight Watchers to gym memberships this time of year.

*Which is fine.* No complaints or problem there. What’s NOT fine though is promising to both ship in two days and send an e-mail confirmation *with tracking number* and not follow through on either. Speaking as someone who’s contacted their customer support service I can attest to the fact that you don’t get a tracking number after the fact either. Just a (possibly automated) reply regurgitating your address information and assuring you that your order is “on the way.”

Hey, maybe it’ll show up today. Or tomorrow. And maybe it’s great. Maybe it’s SO great in fact that not only will it change my life it’ll wash away all the feelings of annoyance and frustration I have right now. But so far the two things that Frank and Trey have taught me are that one, if your customer has buyer’s remorse before they even get your product you’re doing something incredibly wrong and two, I’m really getting tired of people pissing up my leg and telling me it’s raining.

i am a big fan of frank kern's having purchased his mass control stuff, which is excellent.

this product by contrast is aimed at someone who is just starting. there are enough kernels of things to follow up on that you would then need the continuity program to learn more.

i've not started with adwords yet, but my understanding was that google frowned upon people using adwords to go to their website that is basically redirecting to their CB hoplink. (well he has a landing page tool that adds in some text but that's basically it).

can anyone who is EXPERIENCED with cb traffic and adwords comment on whether this strategy works? my understanding was that this worked years ago but with the google slap/quality score changes, this is the type of thing google is actively discouraging and they will make it nearly impossible for you to be successful by raising your adwords bid prices or locking you out of certain keywords.

is this correct?

I have found the support to be pretty good even on weekends. I also got concerned as well and I just got it Friday. Like everyone states good basic information and will help anyone starting out.

Looking at the booklet and course ware I don't think I will sign-up for the monthly continuity it isn't sticky enough and I really had high hopes that it would be, I know Frank mentioned wanting to hit the goal with continuity this year in MTV style cribs video of 7 figures. I am sure he is going to do it but he needs to up the sticky for monthly continuity it has to be really great content, information, tool something it isn't yet. I am sure he will be just fine without my opinion.

If you are starting out in IM or have been doing it for awhile and feeling overwhelmed with information overload. I know in the past I got to this point "I am like what to do as it seems so many different ways you can be successful in IM, I was frozen in action and ended up doing nothing""

I would suggest looking at this course and just focus on it and take real action everyday and stick with it. It does seem to provide all the information and tools necessary. Keep in mind you can only take on so much starting out.

If you take action I don't see how you can't be successful with this course. Just pick something and do it learn from it you pick this it is a proven successful formula.

From Customer Support Dated 1-3-2009

*******Personal Info**********************

We started shipping out last week, of course there is a delay with

the holidays, but people are receiving their orders now, so it

should be very soon.

Signature Goes Here More Personal Stuff My note was from a person named Julie.

PS. Yes I enjoy Frank Kern no not a paid shill, I can only take so much of his care free fun loving attitude because of my major case of envy which is highly motivating for me.

No product yet. Wonder why all of these offerings from brand name internet marketers are always handled so badly? Since this happens so often to these super successful marketers you have to believe it is done on purpose - just look at the "press" they are getting.

Another bag of xxxx sent out (eventually) to all those willing to put up with this dis-service and pay to have it done to themselves once again. Repetitive and getting to be very boring.

The tide will turn on this treatment of people and it will hurt the good marketers as well as the Kevin Trudeaus out there. Maybe the good guys can try harder to stop the goons mucking this up for everyone.

I just received it today and I live in Australia, haven't really had time to go through all the materials - but from the first impression it seemed like a pretty solid package - no where NEAR as much "stuff" in it as the Mass Control Monthly package - but i remember hearing Frank say that one of the biggest reasons for returns that people gave for that package was that there was TOOO much stuff - each to their own, I loved the fact that it was jam packed with value.

Anyway, Infomillionairse IS about going into a niche and creating your own info product(pretty obvious but I thought i'd spell it out), and the package breaks it down into play by play simplicity which is quite nice.

I believe there's two big challenges with creating info products - one is maintaining your focus. The step by step guide really keeps you on track and would definitely help you do this.

The second is marketing - I mean everything from positioning your product, to the copy writing and adwords ads. This is probably the most important facet of creating an info product and from my brief look at the package I don't believe it covers this topic in the neccesary depth.

But really, if you consider yourself an internet marketer you should take it upon yourself to study a good copywriter like John Carlton, Dean Jackson, Mark Joyner or Clayton Makepeace and read the mandatory marketing books like practically everything Seth Godin has ever written and than start APPLYING that ****...

But once you're ready to start applying and you want a proven strategy to get the ball rolling and you're first info product released, than Infomillionaire is a great course (particularly for the crazy cheap introductory offer price) for you.

Yeah, same here.. I'm still waiting for my course to arrive.

But that could be because im in Canada.. so customs might have delayed the release or something like that.

I've sent like 5 emails to the support site and have yet to receive a response

Got the course. I don't know if it needed to be in 48 point font, but at least I can read every word. :-p

The landing page ninja software doesn't work.

Other than that, there's a lot to be said for taking something complicated (like, let's say . . . . internet marketing . . . . for the sake of argument) and simplifying it.

That in and of itself is valuable and earth shattering for those in our community who are experiencing paralysis of analysis.

Finally....some answers.

Here's the e-mail I got this morning.

Quote:
Hi YoYoPro,

We screwed up.

We sold 4,398 copies of InfoMillionaire and we only had 4,000 in stock. The last
398 orders sort of "snuck in" under the radar.

Bad News: YOU were one of those 398 people.

Good news: We're giving you an ADDITIONAL 30 days free to test out InfoMillionaire
monthly.

(This means you get TWO free issues as opposed to only one.)

More Good News: Your kit should ship via USPS by Thursday.

Again: Sorry about this. We screwed up. Didn't mean to.

It was my fault. I'd been up for 36 hours working with our programmer on
last minute launch stuff when then site went live and I let the cart stay open
too long.

Embarrassed,

Frank (and Trey)

P.S. Look - I think we should blame this on Trey, really. I mean ... he's the new guy
and all.
