Just discovered the best cart/checkout system to use!

15 replies
Hi all, just wanted to say that i found quite possibly the best and easiest way to launch a shopping cart into your website.

Before i reveal what system it is, let me just review some of the kickass features:

  • compatible with paypal, google checkout, authorize.net and many others
  • affiliate system is integrated
  • digital product delivery is integrated
  • coupon codes are integrated
  • only costs 5/mo. and has a 7 day free trial
  • can be installed into any website with two simple codes
To expand on the last feature, this is what i REALLY love about it:

You simply add two little lines of code to your site where you want the "View Cart" button to be

Then for each product on your site, you add a line of code for where you want the "Add to Cart" button to be

...and whenever someone clicks "add to cart" or "view cart" the cart is a simple popup modal that has no branding and just lists the items in the cart, and the checkout button or the continue shopping button.

This is quite easily the most clean looking and non-intrusive shopping cart system I have ever seen. It's easy as pie to integrate into ANY website.
PLUS, with affiliate integration and digital download delivery built in... what more could marketer want? LOL

OK, so you are probably dying to know what it is:

E-junkie Shopping Cart for selling downloads & tangible goods

^ not an affiliate link - i just love it so much, I had to tell you about it!

So guys, try it out, you might love it as much as me!

      I like virtuemart... however it's a pain to setup - like any custom cart system. THe only problem is it doesn't really have affiliate integration (that is reliable and free)

    E-Junkie has been around for years. It is acceptable and I use it from time to time, but there are much better ways of delivering your products. I am particularly fond of delivering products via a membership area, such as DAP. This way you can have all of your other products listed in the sidebar, working as unobtrusive upsells.

      I am surprised I have just heard of them! LOL

      Yeah, it doesn't do membership sites apparently, but I am not really selling anything that warrants a membership site at the moment.

      If I did, I will look into DAP though, thanks for recommending it!

        I've been a very happy e-junkie user for about a year now. It is very simple and flexible. In fact, I like everything about it except its name!

        Jason,

        Actually, you don't need to be selling subscriptions to a membership site in order to plug your site into a platform like DAP.

        You're obviously not going to sell them something once and be done, right? So you're going to want to send them emails, market other products to them, and enable them to help you market your site, etc.

        A "content delivery" and "marketing" platform like DAP will allow you to do a lot more with your products and your customers, like...

        * Send them broadcast emails to promote new products
        * Send autoresponder emails to keep bringing them back to your site to deliver good content and provide value
        * Offer them special bonuses (and protect them so only your buyers can access them)
        * Upsell your other products
        * Create one-time offers & 1-click Upsells and Downsells
        * Offer coupons
        * Have dime sales
        * Make them an affiliate so they can promote your site for a piece of the profits
        * Sell to Warriors using the integration with WSO Pro

        ... and the list goes on and on.

        And you can do all that with just one-time products, even if you never sell a "membership" product ever.

        Heck, I'm even using DAP to give away my best selling book for free at http://NBLEB.com - just to build a list!

        So regardless of which plugin you use, do not underestimate what a membership & marketing platform like DAP can do for your business in the long term.

        Hope this helps.

        Cheers!

      I had the same feeling about the terrible name, but now that I've tried it out (just set it all up yesterday), I see that the name "E-Junkie" doesn't appear anywhere my customers would see. Their shopping cart has a beautiful CLEAN look that won't distract at all from the final sale. I found e-junkie super-easy and it's frankly the only service that has done exactly what I needed.

      Have to add my vote for E-Junkie. I've used it for the past 5 years and I really like it.

      And IMHO it's the easiest way for newbies to set up shop, not have to worry about their downloads being stolen and not have to lay out a large amount of cash to get started. Win, win, win.

      I love WordPress, but when you add something like a shopping cart plugin, you need a bit of geek ability to manage it. Then you need to monitor it to make sure it doesn't do something weird during an upgrade (or overnight while you're sleeping). Then you have to find a way to securely host your product for download....

      I was happy to pay $5 a month for someone to take that off my hands when I first started!

    I've been using E-Junkie for about a month now, and love it! ..very responsive bunch of people there, and almost flawless service. So, I agree with the OP, it's a great little discovery.

    I think that e-junkie looks good but I had a bit nausea to understand thei pricing structure, so I gave up and looked for something else.

    I hope that the WPplugin I purchased, InstantPayment IPay will do all there is to do to replace a source like above.

    Big Mike is working on it and after recurring payments are OK, and I will be able to protect ANY folder/file inside my domain, and get a build in Affiliate and JV system build in, I believe that nothing will beat this plugin as there are no extra costs and fees (except Paypal fees).

    Hello Folks,
    I'm not a Techy so my question may appear elementary.
    A friend would like to sell tickets for his small start-up wine tasting bus tours.
    He wants to be able to give early bird discounts on his website, i.e. enter Discount Code: ABC123 (alongside his Paypal Buy Now Button) to get 50% off. Will selling tickets work on eJunkie or does Paypal themselves have that feature built into their buttons?
    Appreciate any suggestions or help on this.
    Kind Regards,
    James

    Recent Ryan Deiss has been talking about how 80% of people who press a 'buy now' button will back out at the last minute. The problem (other than the obvious) is that you dont capture the lead. I am working on a checkout system based off of 1checkout that is 2-step this way you capture the lead even if they back out.
