ProfitsTheme VS OptimizePress VS ??

I'm looking for a solid WordPress Solution for generating Squeeze Pages, Sales Pages, Thank you pages, Offer Pages, Product Launch Pages, etc. You know the drill.

Which is better? ProfitsTheme or Optimize Press? Is there an even better solution that I am unaware of? Thanks Warriors!

What makes you like OptimizePress over ProfitsTheme?

I only had third party experience of optimizepress when I was helping someone put a site together but it was very good.

I really like Profits Theme and used it for some membership sites recently.

    Not really much between them.

My hope is one day Profits Theme will be able to integrate with Payspree...then I will be in heaven, lol.

I guess if you are looking to integrate sales pages/squeeze pages into an existing site, the Premise Plugin (Copyblogger) would also work well.

Here's a solution I see few people use that I love for squeeze pages (for emails only, not a sale): use an "Under Construction" / "Coming Soon" template, and put a video on it.

Great way to build an email list and have your page look good and not spammy.

So possibly profitstheme and optimizepress are very similar except profitstheme can also handle membership sites? Is this the general consensus? Both are within the same price point as well. Tough choice! I might have to buy both! Haha

I haven't used Profitstheme, but i have used OptimizePress.

OP has never let me down, very simple to use, fantastic training, fast updates + great support - i don't see why I would need any other software to perform the functions OP does.

      Optimize Press is great.

The amounts of options are mind boggling, and the support for membership sites makes it a very powerful theme.

I havne't used the ProfitsTheme yet, but OptimizePress has given me 0 reason to not use it.

They both seem so similar, it makes it a very difficult choice for someone like me who is looking to make a purchase. Hopefully this thread will pick up a few more responses and I will be able to make a decision. Thanks everyone!

I have used profits theme with a membership site very recently and its awesome...
I haven't used optimizepress but I was torn between the same 2 options but eventually went with profits theme.. Profits theme also lets you run a more than basic membership site with paypal or clickbank...
I setup the entire site without having to get into any code at all.
plus, at one point where I did get stuck, support was very helpful and they actually went in and pointed out where I had made a mistake...

    definitely go with profits theme...

This. Either is fine; but PT let's you go further, easier, IMHO.

I have both. Only reson I would chose OP over PT is that OP has a better organised member area and training videos. I really need minimal support.

Tried both of them before. They both work great. I personally prefer Profits Theme for 2 main reasons:

    1) Very fast drag and drop visual editor. Profits Theme lets you drag elements (squeeze pages, buttons, headlines, social buttons etc) on your page around and reposition them very quickly and easily. With OptimizePress you have to do it by changing settings. I just find the drag and drop interface a lot easier, faster and more intuitive.

    2) Supports basic memberships sites without additional plugins. It may not have all the bells and whistles compared to a dedicated membership plugin like WishList, but Profits theme lets you set up basic membership sites with PayPal, clickbank and aweber integration already included. If you just want some basic memberships sites to deliver your content, I find that Profits Theme does the job and saves me having to purchase another plugin.

They both can also create one-time and evergreen launch funnels, which is great!

OptimizePress does have a lot more training videos.

I see just a few templates for squeeze pages without a video on OP. Am I missing something?

    Hello!

Optimize press is a thousand times better though both of them are really great and easy to use themes. But optimize press has other uses, not just a theme. So, you should totally try the theme it's very great and very nice. I hope that helped. More power.

    Best of Luck.

I use Profits Theme and decided on it because it's got it's own Membership software you can use. Thus no need to add on Wishlist or something like that. So far building my site is going well.

I've used Optimize Press for a while, for multiple client sites. I find it easy to customize with subtle background accents or gradients and headers. It's a massive theme, and popular enough that you can get support for it if you need help on anything. However, I can't say anything against Profits Theme because I am not as familiar. The fact that you don't need to use other software with it for membership functionality is cool.

Because a lot of the popular marketers like Frank Kern, Brendon Burchard and Eben Pagan use OP for their stuff, I lean towards it. I figure they are all using it for a reason.

    They are both fantastic tools.

I know this won't make your decision easier, but you really can't go wrong with either product.

I use OP, simply because they came out first and I got used to the interface.

Note: Supposedly Optimize Press 2.0 is getting released in August-Sept <---and it is suppose to take things to the next level. It won't be a free upgrade from the current Optimizepress...but current customers will get a discount.

So OP 2.0 will be a new better program? I thought it would be considered an update? Do you know if OP 2.0 will be a WSO?
