In the past few months I have had 5 local businesses contact me to rank their sites and so far 2 of them have started paying me a monthly fee, and two are getting a site finished and then I will rank it for them.

I have only ranked a site about 2 years ago and it is doing well even though the on page SEO is not correct and it only has 9 inbound links but it is on the 1st page of the SERP's for 15 keywords. "it is a local business"

These two new sites I have already gotten the on page SEO done and then I pinged the new changes and now some of the pages have landed on pages 3-6 of Google and others aren't even ranked yet. They already have quite a few backlinks that were there before I started. Now I'm getting ready to start the off page SEO.

So I have been reading a lot on this forum and off at the different ways to get one way backlinks. I know there is a lot of debate on the best ways. One will say this is the best and the other will say, no that way is not good my way is better. Anyway, I am considering getting backlinks for my clients local businesses by Blog commenting, bookmarking, article submissions, and directory submissions. I may try press releases but not sure yet.

I emailed EdwinSoft.com and asked if I purchased more than one product could I get a discount and they replied with several different bundle discoutns. These discounts are really great compared to buying them individually.

So I'm considering purchasing:
1- Article Demon
2- Book Marking Demon
3- Blog Commenting Demon

I'm still looking for a directory submission software.

So what do you think? By doing just this do you think it will help with the ranking?

Thanks

    G'day Mr Affiliate,

When it comes to most things, my philosophy is to make the most of all the free resources out there that are available to me, before I spend a cent. This does two things:

    1. It gets you started without having to pay a cent.
    2. When it does come to paying for something, you are more likely to get more value for your dollar, as you will have a better understanding of value and what is available at what price.

    Free resources include:

    - Asking for links on similar sites
    - Posting about your site in relevent forums
    - Adding the links to your signature
    - Submitting the links in directories
    - Writing articles
    - Blog Commenting etc

All the best, but spending money straight up is the lazy and expensive way to do it.

I have checked out the free services and since I have total of 5 sites that I'm ranking and some sites I'm getting ready to make I have numerous pages to rank so I was thinking automating things would be easier and less time consuming. Anyway the money I would spend is from the two clients that have started paying me.

      Thanks for the comment

Yes....diffently purchase all the Demon products. I own all of them and they are top quality. If they are going to offer you a bulk discount I'd diffently take them up on it. In addition they always keep their products up to date with free updates.

    You won't be sorry

It is good to hear that they keep their products updated. From the their screens shots and training videos, their product interfaces look very professional and organized. Even though I own ScrapeBox, I will probably by Blog Comment Demon as well as Article Demon and Bookmarking Demon, because of the bulk discount and their Blog Comment Demon seems more organized and professional looking and hopefully easier to use.

I know there is a lot of talk that getting tweets and FaceBook likes will outway one way backlinks but I hope that backlinks will play a major roll in rankings in the near and distant future.

if you are going to scale up your business and get more clients, I would recommend finding a company to do all your seo for you. This way you remove yourself from doing all the work and run your business to bring in more clients.

Look for people in this forum to do your seo, as a starting point

    Cheers

I have thought of that and agree but since I'm new to this I don't charge that much and if I outsourced I wouldn't have any money left over.
