Oh Maketing Gods, Answer Me This... Screencast, or, Amazon S3?

Hey my fellow Warriors,

I have yet another question

I'm planning a video course and need a place to store the videos. Does anyone have knowledge of which one may be a better fit? Like, which is easier to use, are there any disadvantages of one over the other. Or,, is there even one better than both of those?

Which one would you use?

Amazon S3 or, Screencast ?

oops,,, i meant maRketing gods

I have always used Amazon S3 and see no disadvantages to using it. It's cheap, reliable, fast, and scalable. I don't think you need to look elsewhere.

If you do use Amazon S3 then make sure you download the free Cloudberry FTP program:

It makes things a whole lot easier rather than having to always log into the Amazon dashboard you can just use it like an FTP program.

Amazon S3 is the better option to choose, but Screencast is easier to use if you have camtasia and making videos that way.

For fast start if you dont want to learn a few things, then screencast from camtasia software. If you dont mind learning then go with Amazon.

Screencast offers 2gb per month account for free, but longterm cost I believe is higher than amazon once you go over that amount.

    All the best

Amazon S3 is so dirt cheap I have to recommend it. It was a learning curve when I started since I knew nothing about it but once I got Amazon S3 Flow Shield, it became easy to upload new videos and manage them.

I agree with WillR with the exception of using s3fox for uploads.

I didn't know s3flowshield could be used for uploads.
