Hosting Company Recommendation

Hi,
A number of my sites were hacked and I am looking at changing hosting companies. Any recommendations as to which one is the best, or more secure?

    If you have been hacked, moving hosts wont be of any benefit to you. Your hacking issue would still exist, you'd just be moving the problem elsewhere.

    You need to find the cause of the hacking (which in the vast majority of cases is down to insecure, badly written PHP scripts and weak passwords) and then take steps to fix the issues. Once you've done that, you'll be back up and running, and you wont have the hassle of reading thousands of hosting reviews.....and finding out that all hosts are brilliant, until they have a bit of downtime, then they suddenly become crap :-D

    More secure???? You need to make your scripts secure to avoid hacking, you can ask hosting tech support to help you but switching hosts won't do any good for you.

    Just to answer your question, Hostgator is the best (Warrior forum & its support desk is hosted on it) so you know its cool. I have my own servers

    Ya I am with hostgator as well. I have had one of my WP blogs hacked twice and they fixed it for me both times within 24 hrs plus they also gave me some helpful tips to make sure it didn't happen again... and it has not.

    not used Blue host, but heard good things about them.

      I have had great service and support from Hostmonster. I would recommend them for all basic hosting up to and including dedicated IP.

      The only thing they do not provide is dedicated servers. So far in the last couple years or so, they have been spot on with support services. Their live chat is great and pretty quick.

      As stated in other posts, the problem coud be with your own security measures. That certainly bears looking into. Hope you solve your problem.

      Hacking is widely common online this days. so the issue is no longer security but how to get things fixed after the damage has been done.

      So when changing your hosting company, look first at the customer support.

    I've tried a couple over the years and settled on Hostgator and never had a problem with them. They all have their pros and cons, so I finally decided to quit the hassle and spend my time building sites and writing content.

    I use EVO Hosting. I couldnt find many reviews about them. But i couldn't find anything bad when i typed Evo hosting crash, evo hosting rubbish etc.

    So i went with them, very good 2 year price and so far they have been brilliant!

    I love bluehost. Decent up time, and I've never had loading problems. And unlimited sites on one account (I have 40+ sites on it). Not expensive, I think it's $6-7 monthly, but if you catch a sale you can get it as low as $3-4/m.

    And if you're into it, they have a decent affiliate program where you get like $65/referral.
