Does anyone use the datafeedr WordPress plugin? I've been thinking of purchasing this plugin.

I used them before. The product was user friendly and support was good.

I know they have a new version now so I can't comment on that one since I am not using it anymore since I sold my affiliate sites.

  • I use them, as well. You can make some nice sites and I have made
    money off of the sites.

Just like any other site builder, you still have to do the backlink work and so on....

I would try the 5 site option (I believe that is the smallest that they have) and test it out.

It makes adding datafeeds to your sites quite easy.

Are you able to categorize the products you want to display on your site? For example, say you are affiliated with a clothes shop, but you only wanted to sell sandals on your niche site? Would you be able to to customize the feed to show just sandals and filter out items like shirts, jeans etc?

It is indeed a very nice and powerful affiliate storebuilder. You can do
micro-niches through to a complete major store.

HOWEVER, the licencing refers to the number of stores NOT actually
        sites/domains.

E.g., you can run 5 seperate specialist shops on 5 different domains/sites
plus you can mix'n'match with a variety of different affiliate networks.

The WP plugin Feed Monster premium version is cheaper and has fewer
options but can be used with one affiliate network on any number of
        domains/sites/shops.

There are quite a number of wp plugins for various networks ... some
free and some premium .... depends what you are looking for.

Watch the videos on the datafeedr site for more info.

Yes, you can filter out products from a merchant's feed. A Datafeedr store is always built from scratch which means you have to create your own categories and subcategories. Then you can add products to each category via our search feature.
